Ultimate Samsung deal - get free Galaxy smartwatch, earbuds and tablet in one go

Daily Record2 days ago

Shoppers can snap up a free Galaxy Tab A9+, a Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro worth a combined £596
The ultimate deal for Android fans is now available, with shoppers being able to snap up nearly £600 worth of freebies. This deal is perfect for Samsung users who are looking to upgrade their old phone, or for people who are wanting the complete Samsung collection.
Normally these freebie deals include one free product, maybe two at a push, when you buy a new phone. But shoppers are now able to grab a tablet, smart watch and set of earbuds for completely free when they purchase one of the phones in the Galaxy S25 series.
This deal is partly through Currys-owned retailer Mobiles.co.uk, which is offering a free Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro when shoppers order the Galaxy S25, S25+ or S25 Ultra through the phone provider ID Mobile.
In order to add the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ into the deal, shoppers need to head over to the Samsung website after they have settled their contract, reports the Mirror. This device usually retails for £259 by itself.
One of the best deals currently on Mobiles.co.uk for the standard Galaxy S25 is ID Mobile's £24 per month plan. This 24-month plan includes an upfront cost of £79 and shoppers will get 500GB of data allowance for the price of 100GB. Additionally, shoppers will get six-months of Google One AI Premium for free (worth £113.94).
Shoppers should note, however, that ID Mobile is one of the many providers who see their prices rise every April with the new tax year. For example, this plan is set to rise to £26.49 per month from April 2026.
While this can be frustrating, this deal comes to a total cost of £702.76 by the end of the contract, which is cheaper than buying the phone outright from Samsung for £799.

Product Description
For those wanting a higher spec phone, the S25+ is available on a £39.99 per month plan through ID Mobile with a £79 upfront cost, while the S25 Ultra has an upfront cost of £119 and a monthly plan of £44.99.
It is currently unknown how long these deals will be available through Mobiles.co.uk, as the website only confirms that it will be active "while stock lasts".
Now these deals only give shoppers the earbuds and smart watch for free, which will arrive along with the handset. In order to get the tablet for free, shoppers must redeem a separate deal from Samsung offers website after their purchase. However, this deal is only available under June 26.
For those who want to buy a Samsung phone outright and are happy with an older model, Amazon is selling the Galaxy S24 FE for £699. Available in yellow, mint, graphite and blue, shoppers will get 256GB of storage with their purchase.
Alternatively, for those who are fans of Apple products, Carphone Warehouse has a freebie available when shoppers buy the iPhone 16e. For £43.99 per month and an upfront cost of £9, shoppers can get the newest iPhone along with a free pair of Beats Solo Buds which are worth £59.99. This device also comes with 512GB of storage.
For those who are a bit wary of using a less well known website, Mobiles.co.uk has received raved reviews by shoppers on TrustPilot.
One five-star reviewer said: "My go-to. Seamless and such good deals to be had. I would not look anywhere else."
Another shopper said: "Fast and efficient. Great choice of phones and contracts at the best prices I could find after a comprehensive search of a large number of alternatives. Clear communication, and my phone was delivered on the day and time it was stated by the company. Everything about the experience was good."
However, one customer noted a more mixed experience, writing: "Requested my number to be changed which never did and had to phone iD Mobile to put in a new request. The simplest of things so giving three stars. Rest of the service was good."
On the flip side, another five-star reviewer said: "Such a simple and super quick process to upgrade to a new phone. Had an issue online but called the call centre and was resolved by a lovely and helpful lady, the new phone arrived the next day. They were cheaper than the network provider themselves."

Positioned within the prestigious 'Ultra' lineup, this upcoming release is expected to deliver substantial advancements in design, performance, and usability. By addressing past user concerns and introducing innovative features, Samsung aims to solidify its leadership in the foldable technology space. Watch this video on YouTube. Rebranding and Strategic Teasers Samsung's marketing campaign for its next foldable device has sparked considerable speculation about potential rebranding. The phrase 'next chapter of Ultra' prominently featured in teasers hints at a strategic alignment of the foldable series with the broader Galaxy Ultra lineup. This move could streamline branding while reinforcing the premium identity of the device. Although the exact name of the device remains uncertain, the teaser campaign emphasizes innovation and refinement. By aligning the foldable series with its flagship Ultra branding, Samsung is setting high expectations for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra. This approach not only highlights the device's premium nature but also positions it as a significant evolution in the foldable smartphone category. Refined Design and Enhanced Usability The Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra is anticipated to feature a more polished and streamlined design, addressing key areas of improvement identified in earlier models. One of the most notable enhancements is the reduction of crease visibility on the foldable display. This improvement is expected to deliver a smoother and more immersive viewing experience, making the device more appealing to both existing foldable users and those new to the category. Another significant upgrade is the enhanced S Pen functionality, which is likely to cater to professionals, creatives, and productivity-focused users. With improved precision and responsiveness, the S Pen will complement the device's larger, more immersive display. These refinements aim to position the Fold 7 Ultra as a versatile tool for both work and entertainment, bridging the gap between a smartphone and a productivity device. Performance: Power Meets Efficiency At the core of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra lies the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, also referred to as Snapdragon 8 Elate. This innovative chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM, promises exceptional performance, rivaling Samsung's flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra in benchmark tests. Whether you're multitasking, gaming, or streaming high-definition content, the Fold 7 Ultra is designed to handle demanding tasks with ease. The device will operate on Android 16, layered with Samsung's latest One UI 8 interface. This combination ensures a seamless and intuitive user experience, complete with the latest features and updates. Together, the advanced hardware and optimized software create a future-ready device capable of meeting the needs of even the most demanding users. Storage and Personalization Options Samsung continues to prioritize flexibility and user choice by offering the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra in two storage configurations: 256GB and 512GB. These options cater to a diverse range of users, from those requiring ample space for multimedia and applications to professionals focused on productivity. In addition to storage options, the device is expected to be available in a selection of refined colors, including black, silver, and blue shadow. For users seeking a more personalized touch, Samsung may also offer bespoke customization options, allowing individuals to tailor the device to their unique preferences. This focus on personalization underscores Samsung's commitment to delivering a premium and user-centric experience. Launch Timeline and Market Strategy The Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra is slated to debut at Samsung's highly anticipated Unpacked event, scheduled for early July 2024. While New York City is the most likely venue, earlier rumors suggested Paris as a potential alternative. Regardless of the location, the event is expected to be a pivotal moment for Samsung as it continues to push the boundaries of foldable smartphone technology. By incorporating user feedback and introducing meaningful upgrades, Samsung is positioning the Fold 7 Ultra as more than just an incremental update. The device is designed to appeal to both loyal foldable users and those considering their first foldable purchase. With a focus on innovation, performance, and premium design, the Fold 7 Ultra aims to set new benchmarks in the foldable smartphone market. As the launch date approaches, anticipation continues to build for what could be Samsung's most advanced and versatile foldable device to date. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: The Ultimate Drop Test

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge stands out as the company's thinnest and lightest smartphone to date, combining sleek design with advanced engineering. To evaluate its durability, the device underwent a series of rigorous drop tests in a new video from PBKreviews, designed to simulate real-world scenarios. These tests aimed to assess how well the phone's materials and construction could withstand accidental impacts. Despite sustaining visible damage in some cases, the Galaxy S25 Edge maintained full functionality, showcasing a balance between portability and resilience. Watch this video on YouTube. Key Results from Drop Tests The drop tests were conducted to replicate common mishaps, such as accidental falls from head or waist height onto unforgiving surfaces like concrete. Each test provided valuable insights into the durability of the Galaxy S25 Edge under different impact conditions. First Drop (Screen-first, head height): The front glass cracked upon impact, but the screen remained fully functional, with no issues in touch sensitivity or display performance. The front glass cracked upon impact, but the screen remained fully functional, with no issues in touch sensitivity or display performance. Second Drop (Back-first, head height): The back corner of the frame absorbed the impact, resulting in visible scratches and scuffs. However, the internal components and screen functionality were unaffected. The back corner of the frame absorbed the impact, resulting in visible scratches and scuffs. However, the internal components and screen functionality were unaffected. Third Drop (Flat on back, head height): Cracks appeared on the back glass, and the camera bezel sustained minor scrapes. Importantly, the camera lens remained intact, and both the screen and camera performance were preserved. Cracks appeared on the back glass, and the camera bezel sustained minor scrapes. Importantly, the camera lens remained intact, and both the screen and camera performance were preserved. Fourth Drop (Side-first, waist height): The frame experienced additional scrapes along the edges, but no further damage occurred to the screen or internal hardware, demonstrating the structural integrity of the device. Material Innovations: Strengths and Limitations The Galaxy S25 Edge incorporates advanced materials to enhance its durability while maintaining a lightweight design. The front panel is constructed with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, which offers improved resistance to scratches and better impact absorption compared to previous iterations. On the back, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 provides robust protection against drops and abrasions, making sure the device can endure everyday wear and tear. However, the ultra-thin and lightweight design of the Galaxy S25 Edge introduces certain vulnerabilities. While the materials are engineered for durability, the phone's slim profile makes it more susceptible to visible damage, such as cracks and scuffs, especially when compared to thicker models like the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This trade-off highlights the challenges of achieving both portability and durability in modern smartphone design. Balancing Lightweight Design and Durability The lightweight construction of the Galaxy S25 Edge is one of its most appealing features, making it highly portable and comfortable to use for extended periods. However, this design choice comes with compromises. The structural frame, while durable, showed signs of wear and tear after repeated impacts, particularly along the edges and corners. These areas are more prone to damage due to the phone's slim profile, which reduces the amount of material available to absorb shocks. This balance between thinness and durability reflects a broader trend in smartphone design, where manufacturers strive to create devices that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. For users who prioritize portability and sleek design, the Galaxy S25 Edge offers a compelling option. However, those who require maximum durability may prefer thicker models with reinforced frames. Camera Resilience Under Stress The durability of the Galaxy S25 Edge's camera system was a standout feature during the drop tests. Despite multiple impacts, the camera lenses remained intact, and there were no issues with image stabilization or quality. The protective measures integrated into the camera housing proved effective, making sure that the device's photographic capabilities were not compromised even after significant physical stress. This resilience is particularly important for users who rely on their smartphones for photography and videography. The ability to withstand drops without affecting camera performance adds to the overall reliability of the Galaxy S25 Edge, making it a practical choice for those who value both functionality and design. Concrete Impact: Real-World Durability Concrete surfaces are among the most challenging for smartphones to endure, as they provide little to no cushioning during impacts. The Galaxy S25 Edge demonstrated impressive resistance to functional damage when dropped onto concrete from head height. While visible cracks and scuffs were evident, these cosmetic issues did not impair the phone's usability. The screen, internal components, and camera system all continued to function as intended, underscoring the effectiveness of the materials and engineering used in the device. For users who prioritize portability but still need a smartphone capable of withstanding occasional mishaps, the Galaxy S25 Edge offers a reliable option. Its ability to maintain functionality despite visible damage makes it a practical choice for everyday use, particularly for those who value a lightweight and stylish design. iPhone to Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: A Full Review for Switchers

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge establishes itself as a standout in the smartphone market with its ultra-thin 5.8 mm profile and lightweight 163 g build. Designed for users who prioritize portability and aesthetics, this device offers a sleek and compact alternative to bulkier models. However, its slim design introduces certain trade-offs, particularly in areas like battery performance and camera versatility, making it a niche choice for users with specific preferences. The video below from MacRumors gives us a look at the Galaxy S25 Edge. Watch this video on YouTube. Design and Build: A Masterpiece of Minimalism The Galaxy S25 Edge's design is a testament to Samsung's commitment to minimalism and elegance. At just 5.8 mm thick, it is among the slimmest smartphones on the market, featuring a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that delivers vibrant colors, deep contrasts, and sharp visuals. This combination ensures a premium viewing experience while maintaining a lightweight and ergonomic form factor. The device's compact design enhances portability, making it ideal for users who are constantly on the move. Whether it's slipping into a pocket or fitting seamlessly into a small bag, the Galaxy S25 Edge offers unmatched convenience. Its sleek, minimalist aesthetics cater to those who value style as much as functionality, making it a statement piece for modern smartphone users. Battery Life: The Cost of Slimness The ultra-thin profile of the Galaxy S25 Edge comes with a notable compromise: battery capacity. While the device is optimized for light to moderate daily use, heavy users may find its battery life insufficient, particularly during extended periods without access to a charger. This limitation is a direct consequence of the device's slim design, which leaves less room for a larger battery. Samsung has introduced performance optimization modes to help extend battery life, but these measures only partially address the issue. For users who rely heavily on their smartphones for gaming, streaming, or multitasking, the reduced battery capacity may prove to be a significant drawback. However, for those who prioritize portability and aesthetics, this trade-off may be acceptable. Camera Features: High Resolution, Limited Versatility The Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with a 200 MP main sensor, delivering exceptional photo quality with intricate detail, especially in well-lit conditions. A 12 MP ultrawide lens adds versatility, making it suitable for capturing expansive landscapes and group photos. However, the absence of a telephoto lens limits its zoom capabilities, relying instead on digital cropping for magnification. While digital zoom provides some flexibility, it lacks the clarity and precision of optical zoom, which may disappoint users who frequently photograph distant subjects. For casual photographers, the camera setup is more than adequate, offering high-resolution images and decent versatility. However, professionals or photography enthusiasts may find the lack of advanced features limiting for their needs. Positioning and Pricing: A Mid-Tier Offering The Galaxy S25 Edge is positioned as a mid-tier option within Samsung's flagship lineup, bridging the gap between the S25 Plus and the S25 Ultra. Priced at over $1,000, it offers a premium design and innovative display technology but lacks some of the advanced features found in higher-tier models, such as extended battery life and enhanced camera functionality. This pricing strategy places the Galaxy S25 Edge in direct competition with other ultra-thin smartphones, such as the rumored iPhone 17 Air. For consumers, the decision to invest in the S25 Edge will depend on their willingness to prioritize aesthetics and portability over comprehensive features. It appeals to users who value a unique form factor and are willing to accept certain trade-offs in performance. Market Implications: A Shift Toward Ultra-Thin Devices The Galaxy S25 Edge reflects a growing trend in the smartphone industry toward thinner and more portable devices. Its release may influence competitors, including Apple, to explore similar ultra-thin designs in their future models. However, the compromises associated with such designs—particularly in battery life and functionality—highlight the ongoing challenges manufacturers face in balancing form and function. As technology advances, the industry will need to address these limitations by developing more efficient batteries and compact components. The Galaxy S25 Edge represents a bold step in this direction, offering a glimpse into the future of smartphone design while also underscoring the trade-offs that come with prioritizing aesthetics over performance. Is the Galaxy S25 Edge Right for You? The Galaxy S25 Edge is an excellent choice for users who value portability, sleek aesthetics, and a unique form factor. Its lightweight design and high-resolution display make it ideal for those who prioritize convenience and style in their daily lives. However, if extended battery life or advanced camera features are essential to your needs, the device's compromises may outweigh its benefits. Ultimately, the Galaxy S25 Edge caters to a specific audience—those who are willing to embrace its strengths while accepting its limitations. For users seeking a balance between innovation and practicality, this device offers a compelling look at the future of smartphone design, blending innovative aesthetics with functional performance.
