An injury crash on Wednesday resulted in the intersection of N. Castle Heights Ave. and E. Baddour Pkwy. to be closed for nearly an hour.
The accident occurred just before afternoon school traffic, which had to be diverted around the busy Lebanon intersection.
Around 2:45 p.m., Lebanon Police were dispatched to the intersection after 911 received calls about a collision between a Nashville Ready Mix cement truck and a Ryker motorcycle.
The Ryker motorcycle, a model with one rear wheel and two front wheels, sustained damage and the driver was transported to Vanderbilt Wilson.
According to LPD Public Information Officer Zach Patton, the injuries are severe, but unknown if they are life-threatening yet.
The roadway was reopened after officers investigated the scene around 3:50 p.m.

RUF's 610-HP Rodeo Makes Its Production Debut at Monterey

RUF Automobile has long stood apart in the Porsche ecosystem, transforming 911s into machines worthy of wearing their own badge. From the insanely awesome Yellowbird of the late 1980s to the modern CTR Anniversary, the German manufacturer has specialized in hand-built sports cars that blur the line between Porsche derivative and standalone creation. In 2020, the company surprised us with a concept that went against its usual low-slung, high-speed formula – the RUF Rodeo, an off-road take on the 911 silhouette. What began as a showpiece has now become a full-fledged production model, with the very first customer car handed over at Monterey Car Week's The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. The first production Rodeo carries the same carbon-fiber monocoque underpinnings as RUF's other modern cars but is built for conditions far beyond smooth tarmac. Finished in Jordan Black, it pairs its deep paintwork with white centerlock forged wheels, roof rails, model designations, and quad-stacked exhaust tips. Think Porsche 911 Dakar – but cooler and gnarlier. The stance is more aggressive than the road-going SCR thanks to integrated bash bars, wide fender flares, and a wider track – 1.6 inches up front and 5.6 inches at the rear. Lighting comes from RUF's Bi-LED headlights and LED taillights, adding modern precision to its rugged form. The chassis is raised by 9.5 inches compared to the SCR and employs a double-wishbone pushrod suspension designed in-house, with adjustable all-wheel drive and ceramic brakes at each corner. Power is provided by a 3.6-liter turbocharged flat-six developing 610 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed manual. With this configuration, the Rodeo delivers off-road readiness without losing the analog experience central to the RUF identity. To mark the milestone delivery, Aloisa Ruf has designed a limited collection of hand-painted Rodeo jeans, each pair individually numbered. The Rodeo was not the only car RUF brought to Monterey. The CTR3 EVO, finished in Howe White, also found its first owner at The Quail. Serving as the fastest car in the lineup, it uses a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing 800 hp and 730 pound-feet of torque, routed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. A top speed of 236 mph places it in modern supercar territory, with a carbon-fiber body and aerodynamic aids such as a large wing, diffuser, and front splitter ensuring stability at speed. Alongside it was the production-ready Tribute, a model-year 2026 release powered by a newly developed air-cooled 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing 550 hp. Designed as a nod to the 911's history, it represents the only production air-cooled car offered by an OEM today. Together with the Rodeo and CTR3 EVO, it showcases the breadth of RUF's capabilities – from adventure-focused off-roader to cutting-edge track car to a nostalgic callback. Special livery package for 911 GT3 celebrates 50th anniversary of ANDIAL

By GlobeNewswire Published on August 15, 2025, 22:45 IST Monterey, Calif., Aug. 15, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Porsche is proud to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ANDIAL through a new 911 Design Wrap offered exclusively for the new (Type 992.2) 911 GT3. The package is a visual reference to one of the most iconic liveries of the ANDIAL 935-L. The new offering made its public debut today at the Porsche Club of America Werks Reunion during Monterey Car Week. ANDIAL was an American motorsports and tuning company, and its name is an anagram made from the names of founding members: Arnold Wagner ('AN'), Dieter Inzenhofer ('DI'), and Alwin Springer ('AL' in ANDIAL). Formed in 1975, ANDIAL evolved into one of America's most successful and respected authorities on Porsche performance tuning for the track and the street. ANDIAL-prepared cars and engines won on nearly every major racetrack in North America. Parallel to their racing ventures, ANDIAL also developed street-related performance applications. Performance tuning evolved through participation in endurance sports car racing where winning at international 24-hour events such as Daytona depends on reliable peak-performance of all vehicle components. The lessons transferred readily to street performance applications and ANDIAL became as popular on the road as at the race circuit over the decades. 'The GT3 embodies the connection between Porsche motorsport technology and road cars in much the same way ANDIAL applied motorsport expertise to cars on public roads and in racing,' Volker Holzmeyer, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Motorsport North America said. 'The story of ANDIAL is one that continues to be an inspiration for many of us at Porsche and throughout our enthusiasts across the world, so it only makes sense to release this livery during their anniversary year.' The new partial wrap is applied by hand at the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Zuffenhausen and is available as an option on the Porsche configurator at an MSRP of $ 7,680. For customers who already own a GT3, there are also plans to offer the design wrap as a retrofit at a later date. The package includes an ANDIAL design decal set, a two digit starting number on the doors and hood that customers may either specify or skip, and a country flag/driver name that can be added above the driver and passenger doors. Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur will also offer a specially painted key, key pouch, owner's manual case, floor mats and door-sill guards lid bearing the ANDIAL logo to further customize their car. The newly announced offering complements a collection of apparel and memorabilia that Porsche began offering at the beginning of the year, and that is available for viewing here. Railcar catches fire in Woodland; had been used as an encampment, firefighters say

A parked railcar in Woodland that was being used as an encampment caught fire early Friday morning. Woodland Fire says they got multiple 911 calls around 5 a.m. that a railcar was on fire along E. Beamer Street, off of Pioneer Avenue. The railcar was parked on some spur tracks in an industrial area. Crews searched the interior of the railcar, but no one was found and no injuries were reported. The flames were contained to one car and no surrounding structures are threatened, Woodland Fire says. Firefighters say the railcar was the site of an informal encampment and had caught fire several times before. Woodland residents are being advised that smoke may be visible throughout the morning as crews continue their work.
