British DJ Josh Butler drops new collaboration EP as he reveals his hits of the week
With his new collaborative EP, Last Day alongside good friends Chesster and RUZE, landing this week on tastemaker imprint Dansu Discs, Josh will be celebrating the release at London's XOYO club on Saturday 31 May, performing an epic back-to-back-to-back set with Chesster and THEOS as Dansu Discs takes over the club again following their sold out New Years Eve party.

The Queen delighted racegoers but saw her hopes of a win dashed as she attended the second day of the Sky Bet Ebor Festival at York Racecourse. Camilla watched as three of her horses were beaten on Ladies Day at the North Yorkshire venue. The Queen was applauded by racegoers as she arrived at the racecourse wearing a multicoloured floral dress by Fiona Clare, a blue coat by Anna Valentine with a horseshoe brooch, and a cream Philip Treacy hat. She was greeted by Vice Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire Chris Legard, the chairman of York Race Committee, Bridget Guerin, and the chief executive of York Racecourse William Derby. Camilla watched from a box as the RAF Falcons display team performed a parachute display, before taking a salute and hearing a rendition of the national anthem by Emily Guerin. After the first race the Queen unveiled a plaque in recognition of the Juddmonte International race, which took place at York Racecourse last year and was named by the Longines World Racing Awards as the world's best race of 2024. She then met racecourse staff and representatives from local charities supported by the track, including the headteacher of Clifton Green Primary School, food support charity the Collective Sharehouse, and walking buddy project Move The Masses. Camilla was presented with a jar of honey by Selina and Harry Silk of Knavesmire Nectar, whose bees are based at the racecourse. The couple said they bonded with the Queen, who also has her own hives, over the 'troubles of beekeeping'. Mr Silk said: 'We talked about the troubles she'd had this year with swarming and wasps. I think everyone's had the same problems this year.' The Queen also presented the trophy to the owners of Minnie Hauk, the winner of the Yorkshire Oaks race. But her hopes of a winner were dashed when three of her horses – Rainbows Edge, Aeolian and Purple Rainbow – were beaten. The late Queen Elizabeth II was a passionate owner and breeder of thoroughbreds and had more than 20 Royal Ascot winners during her 70-year reign. Charles and Camilla have taken on her stable of horses and enjoyed their first Royal Ascot winner in 2023 when their horse Desert Hero triumphed in the King George V Stakes.

Massive US rock legends drop ‘clue' they're playing secret Reading and Leeds set after fans spotted gaps in line up
Fans of The Foo Fighters have been sent into a frenzy after noticing gaps in the Reading and Leeds Festival lineup poster. They believe there's a chance that the popular band could be planning a surprise appearance after noticing the festival lineup looked more sparse than in previous years. 4 4 Many keen Instagrammers believe this theory has been backed up by the band themselves, who made a throwback post this week to 2019 when they last performed at the much-loved event. "Reading Festival 2019," The Foo Fighters ' caption simply read on a video of the band performing their set six years ago. "For those of you with access to the @bbciplayer, the full 2019 Reading set is up now at the link in bio." Speculation began to snowball on the Leeds Festival Community Reddit page, with fans sharing their thoughts on the seemingly out-of-the-blue nostalgia. "OK I know this is a long shot,' one commenter began. "But foos just posted a R&L video throwback from 2019 on Instagram. Anyone else think this may be a hint of a secret/surprise set this year? "If so, do you think it will be at Reading? Or Leeds? Or both?" Though others in the group seemed less certain about the likelihood of The Foo Fighters making an appearance. "Very much confident about them not being there this year. It's been years since an absolutely huge headline band did a secret set," said one. "Less than zero chance," agreed another. Though even if The Foo Fighters are a no-show, fans are also beginning to wonder whether two other massive bands are lined up for secret sets at the festival. Bradley White-Dale obituary
My friend Bradley White-Dale, who has died of a heart attack aged 41, was a gifted singer who came third in the Greek version of the talent show The X Factor, in 2016, and was one half of the singing duo Stereo Soul that toured Greece as part of the X Factor winners' show in the years that followed. Earlier, when he performed at an open mic competition at the O2 in London, Gary Barlow declared Bradley's performance a 'vocal masterclass'. And in 2012 he made it to the bootcamp stages of the UK X Factor. He performed at events at the Barbican, the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall in London, as well as in venues all over Greece, and in New York and Europe. His vocal range was impressive, and he took influences from artists such as Mariah Carey, Beyoncé and Whitney Houston, blending soul, R&B, opera and classical. He also wrote and performed his own songs. Born in Barking, east London, Bradley was the son of Janice White-Dale, a legal PA, and was brought up in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, by his mother and her then husband, Raymond Westburgh. His musical ability was noticed when he was very young and at the age of seven he won a scholarship to be a chorister at King's College school in Cambridge. He ultimately did not take up the place – instead studying classical singing at home in Essex. After leaving Thorpe Hall school he went to Durham University to study German, French and Spanish. I met him there as a fellow language student, and we spent time in Madrid together for our year abroad. After graduating in 2006, Bradley studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, and in 2008 performed in an off-Broadway production called Moony Mercury. Bradley was a talented linguist, quickly becoming fluent where others had to study diligently for years to receive the same results. As well as French, Spanish and German, he went on to learn and perform in Greek – after his X Factor success, he appeared many times on Greek national television and experienced considerable celebrity. He also added Italian, Hindi and Russian to his repertoire along the way. His knack for languages allowed him to do what he most enjoyed – travel widely and meet and befriend people from all over the world, finding out about their countries and their histories, and generously meeting them in their own mother tongue. He described himself as a 'Southend boy' but he was also a true internationalist. As he travelled, he was always singing and booking gigs, but was based in Greece, and had a home in Athens. He also taught languages, and this ramped up during the Covid-19 pandemic, but singing remained his passion. He had recently been back in Southend where, characteristically, he was a big presence in local clubs and venues. He is survived by Janice and Raymond.
