'Quality is obviously there' - Odegaard on Dowman and Salmon
The two 15-year-olds have both featured in the Gunners' wins over AC Milan and Newcastle and will hope to get another opportunity in Thursday's North London Derby against Spurs.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said the pairs' performances in the 1-0 win over Milan in Singapore were "incredible".
"I think the whole squad is really good in this way to help the young players and with those two they're so young and have so much quality," Odegaard said while speaking to the media in Hong Kong.
"I just try to share my experience, guide them in the right direction, and help them to keep the right mindset, because you can see that the quality is obviously there.
"Just trying to help them to have the right mindset and to help them feel good in the team and to kind of let them shine and do their thing.
"They've been amazing on this tour and you can also see the quality. It'll be exciting to see in the future."
Thursday's friendly will be the first time a North London Derby takes place outside the UK and Odegaard is excited for the spectacle at Kai Tak Sports Park.
"I love it and I think we all do," he added.
"I think we're all excited to play in front of so many supporters and we really felt that love and the connection here.
"It's been a while since we've played this type of game so I think that's what we all want and for me it's a good thing that we get a proper test, and something that means a little bit more with a derby.
"I think we're all just really excited and eager to play."

Injured Manchester United starter still hoping to feature vs Arsenal
Andre Onana is still hoping to be fit to face Arsenal in Manchester United's first game of the new Premier League campaign, as he works to recover from injury. Photo by PATRICK T. FALLON/AFP via Getty Images The Manchester Evening News report in their print edition on Tuesday, August 5th that Andre Onana hopes to be available for Manchester United's opening Premier League fixture against Arsenal. Onana has been out of action since the first week of pre-season training with a hamstring injury, and he's already missed all but one of their friendly matches. Yet he's optimistic he'll be ready in time for the Arsenal clash. 'I feel good, I feel great,' Onana said on Sunday. 'It's been a few difficult weeks but, yes, hopefully, I will be back for the start of the season. 'I'm enjoying the training with my guys and we are looking forward.' Photo by PATRICK T. FALLON/AFP via Getty Images A return for Onana against Arsenal would be a boost for United, given the initial timeline suggested he wouldn't be back until August 23rd at the very earliest. Even that would be a week too late to play against Mikel Arteta's side. Lisandro Martinez will be out of the match with his ACL injury, but Joshua Zirkzee is also expected to return in time for the Arsenal game. Noussair Mazraoui is being assessed for a hamstring injury, so he may or may not be available depending on the outcome of that assessment. Photo via As it stands, Arsenal are only expected to be without Gabriel Jesus for the trip to Old Trafford, though it remains unclear how serious Leandro Trossard's injury scare will turn out to be.

Andros Townsend has completed the most surprising transfer of the summer
The most surprising transfer of the summer is here, and it comes in the form of Andros Townsend. Townsend has been a bit of a journeyman of late, playing for Everton, Luton and Antalyaspor over the past four seasons. But now the former England international has secured a move to Thailand. Townsend completed his move to Kanchanaburi Power this week, marking a new adventure in south-east Asia. Kanchanaburi Power were promoted to the Thai top flight last season for the first time. Townsend is now one of seven allotted non-Thai players in the squad, joining former Real Sociedad winger Alain Oyarzun and Algeria international Mehdi Tahrat. 📸 Matt McNulty - 2024 Getty Images

Villarreal sign Thomas Partey for free; Arsenal never in talks to extend
By Ravi Kumar Jha Published on August 5, 2025, 18:47 IST Spanish club Villarreal CF have nearly completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Arsenal. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move with his iconic 'Here we go!' announcement, revealing that Partey joins the La Liga side after four seasons at the Emirates. The 32-year-old departs Arsenal having made over 100 appearances in all competitions. Partey's arrival at Villarreal comes amid ongoing legal proceedings in the UK. The midfielder has been granted conditional bail after being charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. These serious allegations have cast a shadow over the transfer, though the player has consistently maintained his innocence. Partey's legal representative, Wilshire, stated earlier this year that the player 'denies all the charges against him' and 'welcomes the opportunity to finally clear his name.'
