Opening segment with Cody Rhodes & Randy Orton
— WWE (@WWE)
Cody Rhodes opens the show with the main event of SummerSlam announced between him and John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Randy Orton joined him and asked him to promise that he would beat Cena, only to be interrupted by Drew McIntyre, who made his return after weeks of absence. McIntyre began to run both of them down and ate an RKO in the process.
Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Secret Hervice vs. B-Fab & Michin
The opening match was a triple-threat tag team match for a spot in the WWE Women's Tag Team title Fatal 4-Way match at Evolution.
All three teams displayed a valiant effort; however, an untimely coordination by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss led to Bliss delivering a Twisted Bliss on the Secret Hervice to win the match.
The Wyatt Sicks vs. Montez Ford, Chris Sabin, Berto & Johnny Gargano
This was an eight-man tag team match on WWE SmackDown this week. It was a scene of absolute chaos with Wyatt Sicks establishing dominance over their opponents. Despite the other side putting a valiant effort, Wyatt scored the win when Johnny Gargano refused a tag from Chris Sabin, leading to Erick Rowan delivering an Iron Claw slam to score the pinfall.

Tiffany Stratton came down to the ring and was met by Jade Cargill, who won the Queen of the Ring tournament. Stratton stated she was focused on WWE Evolution at the moment and challenged Trish Stratus to a Women's title match. The WWE Hall of Famer came out and accepted the match for the historic night.
Andrade El Idolo & Rey Fenix vs. Nathan Frazer & Axiom
This was a tag team match on WWE SmackDown. Andrade El Idolo and Rey Fenix once again teamed up this week to battle Nathan Frazer and Axiom.
Despite only one week as a team, Fenix and Andrade displayed themselves as an exceptional cohesive unit, and much like they did to DIY last week, the duo outlasted the experienced team of Fraxiom to pick up their second straight win as a team.
Jacob Fatu & Jimmy Uso vs. Solo Sikoa & J.C Matteo
The main event of this week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown was two sides of The Bloodline clashing against each other. The match was hard-hitting and a thrilling action to witness. As the dust settled, it was Uso and Fatu who emerged victorious. Fatu wanted to inflict more damage on Sikoa as he attempted to put him through a table. But instead, he was attacked by Tala Tonga and Tonga Loa and The Bloodline ended the show by putting Fatu through the table and standing side by side over their lifeless opponent.

Coldplay star's ex Gwyneth Paltrow becomes Astronomer's "spokesperson": Social media explodes

Astronomer, the AI/data ops startup that went viral for all the wrong reasons, has just dropped a bold PR move: Gwyneth Paltrow , ex-wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin , is playing the role of their temporary spokesperson. It's thought‑provoking, cheeky—and yes, it's totally capitalizing on the buzz. What happened (in case you missed it) It all started at a Coldplay concert on July 15. A Kiss Cam captured Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot in a cozy moment. They quickly shied away, looking mortified. Chris Martin quipped on stage, 'Either they're having an affair or just really shy.' The internet explosion that followed led to resignations—and a full-on PR crisis. About a week later, Astronomer posted a video featuring Gwyneth Paltrow. She introduces herself calmly, saying: 'I've been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer.' She deadpans, 'Yes... Astronomer is the best place to run Apache Airflow,' turning the viral moment into a data‑tech pitch. It's like watching the calmest damage control ever. Netizens are calling it a PR masterstroke—'marketing jiu‑jitsu' that turned a viral scandal into brand awareness. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Up to 70% off | Libas Purple Days Sale Libas Undo One user said this was '10/10 PR recovery.' Social media lit up Social media lit up after news broke that Gwyneth Paltrow—yes, Chris Martin's ex—was hired as a temporary spokesperson by Astronomer, the data platform making headlines for all the wrong reasons. 'Astronomer picking Chris Martin's ex-wife as their spokesperson is diabolical marketing and a pretty entertaining crisis recovery move,' tweeted @mickeynegus, summing up the internet's collective jaw-drop. Meanwhile, @LloydMathias chimed in with a perfectly Goop-flavored take: 'Brilliant come back from @astronomerio using Gwyneth Paltrow as temp spokie. She cleverly cuts off Q&As: 'OMG what the actual f—' & 'How is your social media team holding—" to expertly shift focus back to brand. Masterful crisis recovery! Well played.' Who is Astronomer's CEO now? Astronomer's interim CEO, Pete DeJoy, has stepped in after Byron's resignation. He described the media attention as 'unusual and surreal,' adding that the scandal unexpectedly made Astronomer a household name in data automation. Paltrow's casting is ironic gold: she was married to Coldplay's Chris Martin. Now she's tongue-in-cheek fronting the company that got dragged into the drama. It's absurd—and hilarious. Astronomer turned a cringe kiss cam moment into a viral comeback—by starring Gwyneth Paltrow in the kind of eyebrow‑raising cameo we'd never see in traditional crisis PR.

Aaron 'Tex' Johnson Kicked off a Plane After a Luggage-Related Issue Johnson was recently escorted off a Southwest Airlines flight at LaGuardia Airport after a heated outburst. A viral video from the scene shows him shouting at airline staff, calling them 'losers' and 'pieces of sh*t.' While the exact cause of his meltdown remains unclear, it reportedly stemmed from a baggage-related issue after boarding. It is being said that the BJJ fighter even got into an argument with fellow passengers and threatened to beat them up. All of this took place on Monday, while Johnson spoke about it on Friday to one of his followers and confirmed that the chaos took place because of a bag. All About the Fighting Career of Aaron 'Tex' Johnson Aaron Michael Johnson was born on 1 April 1986 in Bedford, Ohio. In high school, after relocating from Texas to Georgia, he joined the football team and quickly earned the nickname 'Texas,' which later evolved into 'Tex.'
