According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoblu could make a player-plus-cash offer to convince Fiorentina. They could put midfielder Giovanni Fabbian on the table.

There is one particular hitch in the idea of offering Fabbian to Fiorentina, however.
That is the fact that Inter Milan still have a buyback option on the 22-year-old.
Inter sold Giovanni Fabbian to Bologna in the summer of 2023. They sold him outright, rather than just loaning him out.
However, the Nerazzurri did insert a buyback option in the deal. They can sign Fabbian back this summer for a fee of €12 million.
Nevertheless, the Corriere report, that option expires at the end of this month. And as of yet, Inter have given no indication that they intend to activate it.

Despite Hakan Calhanoglu's failed transfer to Fenerbahce or Galatasaray, the Nerazzurri could sign another midfielder. Indeed, they've already acquired the services of Petar Sucic. However, Cristian Chivu wants to add more depth to his squad, with Inter set to compete for trophies on multiple fronts. Although Rabiot would offer experience and quality, the Serie A giants prefer someone more versatile.

Barcelona Identify This Inter Milan Defender As Their Main Target For Next Summer: Good Option For Flick?
In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Barcelona have identified Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni as their main target for next summer. It is understood that the Catalan club are eyeing a move to bring the Italy international to the Nou Camp in 2026. Bastoni's Impressive Season In Serie A The 26-year-old enjoyed a solid campaign at the Milan club recently as he was responsible for putting in a run of impressive displays at the heart of their backline. Bastoni was involved in 53 matches for Inter Milan last season, scoring one goal and securing six assists in multiple competitions. The Italian defensive ace gave a good account of himself by making 46 tackles, 25 blocks and 22 interceptions in Serie A. He even distributed the ball well from inside his half after making 88.4% of his attempted passes in the Italian top tier (stats via Bastoni's current deal at San Siro will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for Barcelona to sign him on the cheap next year. MUNICH, GERMANY – APRIL 08: Alessandro Bastoni of FC Internazionale reacts during the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Quarter Final First Leg match between FC Bayern München and FC Internazionale Milano at Fussball Arena Muenchen on April 08, 2025 in Munich, Germany. (Photo by) Will Bastoni Be A Good Option For Barcelona Boss Hansi Flick? Bastoni is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to make some important interceptions for his side inside his half. He doesn't mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the offensive and can use his strong 1.90m frame to win his fair share of duels in the air. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga if Barcelona manage to bring him on board next summer. We can expect him to enhance the quality of Barca head coach Hansi Flick's defence. Bastoni is good enough to nail down a regular starting spot at the Nou Camp next season. He will also help the Catalan club compete across all fronts in the future. At 26, Bastoni is about to enter his prime, which makes him a great option for the Catalan club to pursue at the end of this campaign. He might even help Barcelona compete for a lot of major trophies over the next few years. Thus, Flick should focus on snapping him up in 2026.

Liverpool ready to agree SENSATIONAL deal for England star
Liverpool last week completed a £26m deal for teenage defender . The Italian enjoyed a breakout season at Parma in Serie A - competing in 17 top-flight matches - and attracted the attention of teams in Italy as well as the Reds. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas home range 🚨2025/26 LFC x adidas range🚨 LFC x adidas Shop the away range TODAY LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! In the end sporting director Richard Hughes managed to finalise a swoop for 6'5 Leoni - paying an initial £26m or thereabouts for one of Europe's most promising stoppers. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range It remains to be seen just how much senior football Leoni gets through this coming season for the Merseyside club. Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate are currently the first-choice duo while Joe Gomez is expected to provide cover. Marc Guehi linked with Liverpool deal Throwing a youngster into the white hot atmosphere of the Premier League at this stage of his career may well be a risk and that's why we've seen links maintained with other defenders. Marc Guehi of course appears to be Liverpool's preferred option. His contract situation plays into Liverpool's hands - setting them up for potentially a bargain deal this summer or else a free transfer in 2026 when he becomes out of contract. Liverpool's recruitment of Leoni will have no major bearing on a deal for Guehi - with the Reds also content to wait until 2026 to get their man. Guehi situation now DANGEROUS for Palace That's according to a new report from Football Insider - which claims the situation is becoming ever more 'dangerous' for Crystal Palace over their captain. 'I don't think that will stop Liverpool pursuing this move for Guehi, but it's a dangerous one for Palace because Guehi is more than happy to stay and see out his contract, and that might suit Liverpool,' the report from Pete O'Rourke states. 'They can look at it again next summer and take Guehi on a free, and for Guehi himself, it's a big season ahead – he won't want to move from Palace if he's not guaranteed first-team minutes. 'If Palace do drop their price tag, then maybe Liverpool would decide to push through a deal for Guehi.' © IMAGO - Marc Guehi Liverpool
