UAE Lottery scratch cards: Residents can win up to Dh1 million

UAE residents can now win up to Dh1 million courtesy of four new scratch cards introduced by the UAE Lottery. These cards, which can be purchased online on the game's website, have unique themes and prize pools and cost between Dh5 and Dh50. Targeting cricket lovers, the Wicket Winnings card has a sporty theme, has a Dh5 entry point and offers quick prizes of up to Dh50,000. The Jungle Jewels is a fun game which has rewards hidden behind every key. The card, which has a top prize of Dh100,000, costs Dh10. Meanwhile, for just Dh20, players can win up to Dh300,000 with the House of Gold game. The Cash Splash card helps gamers to enjoy a fast-paced, prize-packed game where they can win up to Dh1 million for Dh50 per card. Operated by The Game LLC, the UAE Lottery has been regulated by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) and was launched late in 2024 with a Dh100 million jackpot prize. Since then, the company has launched several smaller, quick-win games to keep engaging with UAE residents. In an earlier interview with K haleej Times, Bishop Woosley, Director of Lottery Operations at The Game, stated that people will soon be able to walk into a store and purchase tickets. However, it is not yet clear when that initiative will be rolled out. Earlier this week, nine winners bagged Dh100,000 each during the game's fortnightly draw. So far, no one has bagged the Dh100 million jackpot, but a spokesperson from the company had said that it was only a matter of time before someone wins the life-altering amount. The UAE Lottery has implemented several measures to ensure responsible gaming practices. In December, the company partnered with Takalam, an AI-powered mental health platform, to give players support when they need it. James Boyles, Group Director for Responsible Gaming at the company, had earlier told Khaleej Times that they closely 'monitor player behaviour' and 'intervene when necessary' to ensure the safety of gamers.
