To Stay Healthy, Shakti Arora Eats Home-Cooked Meals With Regular Workout Sessions

Last Updated: Shakti Arora opened up about the lifestyle habits that help him stay fit, focused and full of energy despite his hectic shooting schedules. Television heartthrob Shakti Arora has long been admired not just for his acting prowess but also for the discipline he maintains off-screen. Known for his impressive performances in hit shows like Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Kundali Bhagya and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the actor makes sure to maintain a healthy lifestyle with mindful wellness habits and regular workout sessions. Now, the actor sat for an interview with a media portal, where he opened up about the lifestyle habits that help him stay fit, focused, and full of energy despite his hectic shooting schedules. During a chat with ETimes, the actor shared, 'To keep my energy levels up, I focus on staying consistent with my workouts. I try to mix things up with cardio and strength training, which keeps it interesting and effective." The Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actor, who has recently incorporated yoga and meditation into his daily routine, reveals that these mindful practices help him stay calm and centered, especially on long and stressful shoot days. 'Sleep is non-negotiable for me, and I do my best to eat a balanced diet with enough protein and nutrients. Lately, I have also started including yoga and meditation in my daily routine. It really helps me stay centered, focused, and calm on long and stressful shoot days," he said. Shakti Arora's Health Comes First Balancing a tight shooting schedule with health isn't easy, but Shakti makes it work. 'I've realised it's necessary if I want to give my 100%. I usually fit in quick but intense workout sessions that leave me energised. And honestly, walking is something I absolutely love. It's my way of clearing my head, relaxing after a long day, or just enjoying some quiet time with myself," he said. He also spoke about the importance of warm-ups before action-heavy roles. The actor added, 'When it comes to action scenes, I make sure I'm well-prepared. One important thing I've learned is to never skip warm-ups. I once skipped it and ended up with a painful tennis elbow. That incident taught me how crucial it is to condition your body before stepping on set." Shakti Arora's skincare and diet plan Shakti opened up about his diet plan. Revealing that he has adopted a vegetarian lifestyle, the actor said that he keeps his diet simple. 'My day starts with warm water, and I usually skip breakfast. Lunch is usually grilled vegetables, paneer, and sabzi made at home, always with a good portion of salad. Dinner is dal, roti, sabzi, and tofu to maintain my protein intake. I prefer everything home-cooked and light," he mentioned. Coming to skincare, the actor keeps it minimal. He noted, 'Since we're under makeup and lights for long hours, I just make sure I stay hydrated and moisturise properly. I like to keep it natural and simple. That works best for me." In the same interview, Shakti revealed that the more natural the routine, the better he feels overall. He said, 'I don't really believe in fancy detox drinks. For me, water is the best detox. Simplicity really is key when it comes to health. One habit I never skip is drinking warm water first thing in the morning. It gives me a fresh start to the day." Shakti Arora's Work Front The actor was last seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The television show has undergone major shifts since its launch. Starting with the first generation, the show found success with leads Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma. The baton was then passed to the second generation, which featured the trio Shakti Arora, Bhavika Sharma and Sumit Singh. The latest narrative starred Vaibhavi Hankare, Param Singh and Sanam Johar, but due to lower TRP, Bhavika re-entered the show, alongside Hitesh Bharadwaj and Amayra Khurana. view comments First Published: July 23, 2025, 14:45 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
