Tennis star handed bizarre trophy in the shape of a SHIPPING CONTAINER after winning tournament in Germany
The 22-year-old Frenchwoman dispatched Anna Bondar in straight sets in Sunday's final (7-5, 6-3), having battled down from behind on both occasions.
For her efforts, she was handed one of the most bizarre trophies seen in recent tennis history: a 3D-printed replica of a shipping container.
Straying from the traditional sleek glass sculptures, Boisson lifted a chunky, rectangular object, with an MSC cargo company logo overlaying it - the title sponsor of this year's tournament.
It is likely that the trophy was designed to reflect the city's industrial spirit, with the Port of Hamburg - one of Europe's busiest shipping hubs - acting as inspiration for the unconventional design.
Fans were quick to flood in and share their opinions on the eyebrow-raising creation, which seem to split opinions on social media.
Boisson's trophy was likely designed to reflect Hamburg's industrial spirit, with its trophy being one of Europe's busiest shipping hubs
One fan wrote on X: 'WHY IS IT A SHIPPING CRATE?'
Another jokingly asked: 'Is there gift inside the box?'
A third noted: 'I see those containers at the port.'

ITV will SACK 1 in 10 cast members from Corrie and Emmerdale in savage cost-cutting bloodbath
ITV chiefs are plotting a bloodbath on their two flagship soaps by axing one in ten cast members in the latest round of savage cost-cutting. Proposed plans also include slashing the number of scenes per episode for Coronation Street and Emmerdale — after the broadcaster announced it is cutting a further £15million from its total budget. 2 ITV's profits have slumped by 44 per cent to £99million for the first six months of this year. Now insiders have revealed executives are putting pressure on their top soaps to slash their spiralling budgets, cutting the soaps' cast lists by ten per cent. Coronation Street has 84 permanent cast members and Emmerdale has 70. Staffing on both soaps has risen rapidly in recent years, with many actors guaranteed a minimum number of episodes and episode fees per year. It is also suggested scenes per episode could be cut. Both soaps have about 20 scenes per show. And the number of cast used each episode could also be trimmed. A soap source said: 'It's brutal. We've known it was on the cards for a while, but they're really cranking it up now and it's across the soaps. They're looking to save millions and Corrie and Emmerdale are the obvious places. They're very expensive shows. 'Many who have been there for a long time are reliant on their income staying as it is. 'The amount of cast has spiralled out of control and focusing on dialogue, not action, could also save money.' Coronation Street and Emmerdale announce huge 'crossover' special episode in UK soap first Some older cast members have full-time contracts with a salary, but the majority are paid by the episode. It comes amid cuts across the ITV daytime schedule, with hundreds of staff axed from Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. ITV said of the proposals: 'This is complete speculation.' 2

I'm a good-looking woman but my husband's lack of interest in sex makes me want to stray
DEAR DEIDRE: DIRTY dancing, heavy snogging, outrageous flirting – I've done everything except actually cheat on my husband. He's the love of my life, but I'm struggling not to stray. When I go out with friends, they're always pointing out men staring at me. I can get drinks bought for us all evening. By the time I get home, I'm on a high, feeling gorgeous . . . then my husband just grunts at me. Last weekend, I ended up in a late bar and started dancing very raunchily with a younger man. It took all my control to turn him down for a nightcap. I'm a good-looking woman and take care of my appearance, but lately my husband doesn't even seem to notice. He'd rather watch football on TV than look at me. I'm 46, he's 50. We've been married for 25 years and have a grown-up daughter. People often mistake me for her older sister because I've spent so much time maintaining my looks. I wear matching lingerie, our bedsheets are satin and I'm the same size as the day I met my hubby. Yet there's no action. But when we were first dating, he couldn't keep his hands off me and would often take me out for 'country drives' that ended up with us having fun in a lay-by. In confident moments, I assume he's stressed with work — he runs his own business — or tired. But he'll happily stay up late watching the telly. Dear Deidre: Understanding why your man's gone off sex I can walk past him naked and he won't take his eyes off the screen. In my less-confident moments, I wonder if he's fallen out of love with me. I've tried talking to him, but he just laughs it off. A fling might be the wake-up call he needs to appreciate me DEIDRE SAYS: An affair could easily call time on your marriage. The problem isn't your desirability – your husband married you because he found you attractive. The issue is something's changed for him and he hasn't told you what. Encourage him to open up. Have a chat outside the bedroom and tell him how much you miss feeling connected and intimate. Ask him to share anything that's worrying him. A common reason men avoid sex is they're concerned they can't 'perform'. Lifestyle issues such as stress, depression, alcohol and smoking can affect their ability to get an erection. If that's the case, urge him to go to his GP. There are medications that can help, and erectile dysfunction can be a symptom of serious health problems, so he'll need a check-up. Please also read my support pack, Reviving A Man's Sex Drive. MY DISTANT TWIN PLANS TO CASH IN DEAR DEIDRE: FOR more than a decade, my twin brother completely cut himself off from our mum, saying she was a controlling narcissist. Now she's died and he wants a share of the inheritance. I'm the sole executor and beneficiary of Mum's will. Her estate is valued at around £250k, which is obviously going to be a life-changing sum for me. Her inheritance would have been shared equally between my brother and I, but he fell out with Mum 12 years ago and hadn't seen her since. At the time, she warned him that she'd cut him off. He said that was fine by him and she did, and updated her will to leave everything to me. Dad died many years ago, so I've looked after Mum by myself. I lived with her and supported her for five tough years while she was suffering with the cancer that finally claimed her life. After she died, I sorted out the funeral, the paperwork and cleared her house alone. Now my brother is asking me for money. He says his son could use it for a deposit on a flat. I'm reluctant to say yes because neither of them bothered with Mum when she was ill, and they wouldn't be in touch if it wasn't for the cash. Should I follow Mum's wishes and keep the money? Or should I let my brother have a fair share? DEIDRE SAYS: Dealing with grief alone is hard enough without family fall outs. I'd like you to read my support pack, Bereavement, to help you process all the emotions we go through when someone dies. This is a very difficult position to be in. It sounds like your brother understood the risk of estranging himself, and he had 12 years to change his mind. If you decide not to give any inheritance to your brother, he could contest your decision in court. But if your Mum's will was professionally drafted and legally sound, it's unlikely his claim would be successful. It's important to note that if your brother did want to challenge the will, then under the Inheritance Act 1975, he has just six months to do it from the date probate is granted. You're allowed to give your brother a share of your inheritance. If you decide to uphold your Mum's wishes, you could give him something else instead, like jewellery, or personal belongings. SEX-HELP CLINIC DEAR DEIDRE: FOR my boyfriend to climax he has to be in control, and it's starting to mess with my confidence. I've always had a high sex drive, so I was delighted when I met a man who is just as lusty as me. We had sex on our first date and basically haven't stopped since. We've been a couple for six months and I'm really happy – except I can't seem to get him to orgasm. If he's on top, he'll climax naturally. When I'm on top, or using my hands, he can't finish. He just gets quite frustrated and switches positions so he's the one in the driving seat, or uses his own hand instead. Then he'll orgasm. I noticed he uses his hand quite roughly. I thought at first I might be being too gentle but even when I tried using more pressure or a faster rhythm, I still couldn't get him there. What's really messing with my confidence is that I can't even bring him to orgasm with my mouth. I love oral sex and feel I've perfected my technique, but even that doesn't work on him. I'm starting to feel a bit inadequate. I've chatted to him about it all, and he says he's always been this way. Are we incompatible, or am I a bad lover? DEIDRE SAYS: A bad lover would never write to me asking for advice. You are actually a sensitive, attentive lover who is worried that her skills are not satisfying her partner. What might have happened is that he has masturbated a lot – possibly using pornography – and become used to the feeling of his own hand. Most men masturbate with a grip that is far stronger than their partner would use. Possibly, he has become so attuned to his own technique that he struggles to orgasm in any other way. An effective way to improve this situation would be to pause sex and masturbation. Put penetration on hold for two weeks, and let his excitement build up again naturally. DOES MY COLLEAGUE FANCY ME? DEAR DEIDRE: I CAN'T tell if my female colleague fancies me or just craves attention. I recently started a new job and this colleague is a few years older than me and quite pretty. She's engaged but regularly moans about her relationship problems. They don't sound very happy. I often catch her staring at me at work, and she bought me an expensive gift for my birthday. She organises weekly drinks and insists I attend. At last week's event, she was glued to my side. She even leant over and whispered that people were going to think we were an item. Does she fancy me? DEIDRE SAYS: Even if she does fancy you, would you want her? This is how she behaves when she's in a committed relationship: Buying other men presents, discussing her private problems and flirting. These things should be red flags. I'd ignore her advances and not get drawn into discussions about her relationship. Love Island is like Hunger Games…I'm 30 & still never had boyfriend – here's reason I blame show, says Olivia Hawkins
LOVE Island 'villain' Olivia Hawkins has compared her two stints on the show to The Hunger Games – and admits they led to her 'losing herself'. The 30-year-old says fellas never ask her out after she was first painted as a troublemaker in the villa in 2023 — then again during her return for this year's All Stars version. 6 6 6 In fact, the beauty, who has been an actress and a ring girl, claims she has never had a proper 'boyfriend'. In an exclusive chat with the Sun on Sunday, Olivia said the telly dating contest reminds her of the brutal fight for survival in dystopian movie series The Hunger Games because 'you never know when you're going to be dumped'. She explains: 'It can feel competitive with everyone the same age, feeling like you're at risk of being dumped. "I find dating hard because the majority of people I meet have watched Love Island, or know of my character on the show. It's hard not to be prejudged. 'I was the villain of the villa. They just saw me as a fiery character. Now I get told I'm quite intimidating. Men don't approach me because they think I won't be responsive. 'But that's a misconception. I'm the most approachable person ever. Men think I'll be hard work, and of course I like the finer things in life, but I provide that for myself.' Recalling how the programme affected her, Olivia adds: 'After Love Island, I got to a point where maybe I just lost myself a bit. "You've been painted as this one person, and then it's almost like a persona that you think, 'Oh, that's obviously not me, but do I have to keep that up?'.' The Brighton -born beauty, who starred in James Bond film No Time To Die with Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas, is now taking part in another TV show, Celebs Go Dating, in search of romance. During her first Love Island appearance, she coupled up with Will Young, Haris Namani and Kai Fagan, but was accused of being hypocritical and instigating toxic antics that made at least one of the lads cry. "She slated the boys who kissed new women behind their original partner's back, despite female friends also doing that. And when she took part in All Stars, she was branded a troublemaker again for seemingly trying to split Luca Bish and Grace Jackson. Despite dating a string of hunks — including EastEnders star Max Bowden, who plays Ben Mitchell, and fellow islander Jack Fowler — she feels her reputation has put men off committing to her and hopes that will soon change with Celebs Go Dating. She says: 'All I want is a partner to be there for me and be my soulmate, and to have a shoulder to lean on. I'd just love someone to take me for being me and get to know the person away from the screen. 'I felt like I really had to try and prove everyone wrong or show a different side to me. 'But really, I needed to just put myself first, and as long as I'm happy with myself, that's all that matters. 6 6 6 'My romantic life has been a real journey, a rollercoaster. I've never been in a relationship. Throughout my twenties, I really settled for the bare minimum and I didn't, I guess, realise my worth. 'I'm now finally at that place where I just don't want to settle for any less. I don't need to put up with a d**khead. 'I know what I bring to the table, so if someone else can't match that, then my time is so precious, as is theirs . . . I don't want to waste my time on anyone.' Olivia will put her romantic fate in the hands of matchmakers Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson on Celebs Go Dating, which kicks off on E4 on August 11. She will be joined on the show by singletons Kerry Katona, Christine McGuinness, S Club 7's Jon Lee and The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett. They will be paired with non-celebrity strangers the TV experts believe could be perfect for them — and fans will see the couples then go on a string of dates. After the brutality of Love Island, Olivia says she is enjoying the process. She explains: 'On Celebs, you're never dumped unless you do something really bad! 'Sod the haters' 'That is the nicest part about it. I have full control and I'm not competing with anyone. 'But also, it's in my hands to make sure I'm making the right decision for myself. And I really do feel like I put myself first on this series.' Olivia insists she knows what she wants in a man, revealing. 'At this stage in my life, looks only go so far. 'I've met some absolutely gorgeous men and it just hasn't been there because the personality wasn't there to match. Sometimes, guys can be so attractive and that's all they rely on, and that makes them unattractive. 'I definitely wouldn't say looks are the be all and end all. I don't want to get to 90 and think, 'Oh, the only reason I went for him was because he was 6ft 5ins and so good-looking'. 'I want to be like, 'Haven't we had the best life? We've laughed so much'. 'I need banter. I can't have someone super-sensitive, because I am quite sarcastic. So someone that can give it back to me — that's playful — and I really wanted someone communicative and considerate.' Revealing her dating priorities, Olivia says: 'I need someone that's family orientated. I can't compromise on that.' The Celebs Go Dating stars got a baptism of fire on the new series with a singles night straight away, where they had to pick a match to take on a sun-kissed trip to Ibiza. And despite spending weeks on national TV wearing just a bikini, Olivia says she was more nervous walking into that party — or a 'mixer', as it is called on the show — than she was entering the villa. 'I've never been so nervous,' she admits. 'I know it's ridiculous, but because this was more focused on me and my journey, it's different.' Olivia hopes that by showing her vulnerability, fans will finally see a different side to her. And if they don't, she is past caring. She says with a laugh: 'Sod the haters. They're always going to be there. I don't worry about other people's opinions. I just live life and be happy.'
