West Lothian Love Island star Paige Turley and Saint Phnx's Stevie Jukes are used to gracing the red carpet but both agree no other awards show will ever top Pride of Scotland.
The bubbly pair, who are red carpet hosts at Monday night's (June 23) glittering event, will chat to the inspirational winners and celebrity guests as they make their way into Glasgow's Hilton for this year's star-studded ceremony, reports The Daily Record.
They say they can't wait to bring the nation all the gossip and style live from the red carpet which promises to be one of the most star-studded yet.
This is Paige's fourth year as red carpet host and the singer from Fauldhouse, West Lothian, is looking forward to teaming up with Stevie and being the ying to his yang.
The 27-year-old, who co-hosted last year with Love Island's Laura Anderson, said: 'I'm excited about hosting with Stevie as he is a really lovely guy and hopefully we will compliment each other.
'I'm all about the style and fashion and he can talk to folk about other things. Our job is to put everyone at their ease because the red carpet can be a daunting place, especially for the winners.
'It's my absolutely favourite night of the year as the awards shine a light on people who have been doing so much for others but never seek any recognition.'
Paige, who has been travelling all over Scotland with the Big Shiny Disco Brunch Crew, added: 'I'm bringing my dad with me again this year as he absolutely loves it.
'Two years ago he was carrying my handbag for me and his hero Graeme Souness came across to him and said 'Like your bag big man.' He was stoked.
'I'm also bringing my boyfriend Kieran with me. It will be his first time on a red carpet in Scotland and I know he is going to love it as much as I do.'
It's the first time Stevie, 40, who formed chart toppers Saint Phnx with brother Alan, 37, in 2016, has been on the other side of the mic but says he is suited and booted and raring to go.
The dad-of-two, from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, said: 'I'm buzzing about Monday night and have had my velvet jacket, shiny shoes and dickie bow looked out for weeks.
'My brother has been ribbing me about it and keeps saying things like 'Here comes big red carpet Steve.' He thinks he is hilarious but just wait until it's his turn to be interviewed!
'It's the first time I have ever done anything like this but I would love to work in radio so this will be good practice as I will have to think on my feet.
'You would think I would be nervous but I'm not. For the past year Alan and I have been doing workshops in schools and trying to sing on a Monday morning in a gold gym hall in front o0 kids pretty much prepares you for anything.'
Stevie, whose new single 'Arabella' - a collaboration with singer Nathan Evans - is out next week, added: 'I'm really looking forward to working with Paige. We met at the Pride of Scotland awards a few years ago when Saint Phnx were performing and we hit it off right away.
'I've been given a sneak peak at all the winners and I can't wait to meet them on the red carpet and put a face to their names.
'The only thing I am a wee bit worried about is recognising the celebrities but I'll just give Paige a wee nudge and hopefully she will tell me who they are.'
From acts of kindness and selfless bravery to raising millions for charity, it's no wonder the Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards with P&O Cruises is the People's Oscars.
The combination of big hearts and big stars have made our annual awards, which began in 2020 and will once again be compared by Elaine C Smith and Sanjeev Kohli, a runaway success.
Although Stevie, who is dad to Jacob, 18 and Charlie, nine, has never presented at the awards before he has performed twice and knows just how emotional the night can be.

He says he will never forget meeting Child of Courage Zac Gunn, who sadly passed away earlier this month after receiving a long-awaited lung transplant.
Stevie, whose single Happy Place - written after losing his dad to pulmonary fibrosis - topped the Scottish charts in 2021, said: 'That wee boy's cheeky smile will stay with me forever. He was such a funny wee guy and he had an aura which lit up the room.
'My wife is a neonatal midwife at Wishaw General and looked after Zac when he was born. We were both devastated when he passed away.
'We met him when he won his award and we have kept in touch with the family ever since. Like Zac, so many of the Pride of Scotland winners end up leaving a massive impression on your heart.'
He added: 'Last year it was Lochlan Murdoch whose story really impressed me. The teenager has Type 1 diabetes and set up a charity to help educate sports teams and clubs about the condition.
'He's just a wee guy who has taken a difficult scenario in his life and done something positive about it to help others which I find really inspiring.'
Paige, who won season six of Love Island with ex Finley Tapp, admits she will be stocking up on paper hankies before Monday as she always has a good greet.
The singer, who is also a Pride of Scotland judge, said: 'I was blubbing in the judging room and I haven't even met the winners yet.
'So many of the unsung heroes have made a lasting impression on me. People like the beautiful little Mila Sneddon who battled leukaemia and won the heart of the Princess of Wales during lockdown.
'I also love the pure Scottishness of the winners. Where else in the world would you meet a granny who tackled a burglar and a wee pony wearing a kilt?'
Stevie, who is working on a Collaboration album with Nathan Evans and is just back from a joint European tour, recalls the moment he met his hero Rangers goalie Allan McGregor.
He said: 'As everyone knows Alan and I are massive Rangers fans. We met Greegsy at the awards a couple of years ago and ended up having a few drinks with him in the bar afterwards.
'My brother ended up getting Allan to take invisible penalties at him. We ended up becoming friends with him and he invited us into the box at his testimonial.
'We've been out with him a few times now he has publicly admitted Saint Phnx are his favourite band. I've gone to heaven with that one.'
He added: 'Pride has become a very special part of my life and I am honoured to have been asked to be a part of it again this year. There's just something magical about the awards and I can't wait to pull on my suit and go red carpet live.'
We launched our search for our local heroes of 2025 back in January and were inundated with thousands of nominations from across the nation.
Categories include the Emergency Services Award, Teenager of Courage, Young Fundraiser, Outstanding Bravery, the King's Trust Young Achiever, Special Recognition and the P&O Cruises Inspiration Award.
Stars who will be honouring the winners include Sheli McCoy aka Gladiator Sabre, singer Susan Boyle, Star Wars actor Denis Lawson, Braveheart star James Cosmo, singers Nathan Evans, Calum Bowie and Cammy Barnes and Strictly's JJ Chalmers and Dr Punam Krishan.
Love Island's Laura Anderson will be manning the Pride of Scotland bar, First Minister John Swinney will be there to celebrate the best of Scotland and there will be a performance from Britain's Got Talent finalist Vinnie McKee.
You can catch all the red carpet action on the Pride of Scotland Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages from 5.30pm on Monday night https://www.facebook.com/prideofscotland.org

I was so stressed after my dream £6k honeymoon cruise was cancelled my face COLLAPSED & was left PARALYSED

Gail Morgan, 50, suffered a Bell's Palsy attack, paralysing the muscles down one side of her face after the £6,000 cruise was postponed just prior to boarding - and then axed completely. They say, subsequently, their treatment by operator Celebrity Cruises has been "disgusting" - and they've only received a third of the value back as vouchers. Gail told The Sun: 'I was inconsolable. I broke down in tears. 'The heartbreak of losing our honeymoon and my 50th birthday trip, a holiday we had looked forward to for years, was overwhelming. 'And still, not a single word of communication from Celebrity Cruises. 'I recently completed my masters in social care, and this was also meant to celebrate my achievement. 'But the very next day, my facial muscles on the right side of my face stiffened up. 'Since then, my face has been stiff. I'm still going through it.' Upon return to the UK, a doctor's assessment confirmed that the 'emotional trauma and psychological stress' were 'direct contributing factors to the onset of Bell's Palsy'. The cruise was due to depart from Port Miami on July 20. Inside Love Island winners Kai and Sanam's lavish honeymoon in Bali Initially, the cruise was delayed by a day, before it was cancelled due to a 'technical issue' affecting the liner's speed. Morgan added: 'We're working class people from a small village in Wales. 'It took us three years to save for this, skipping out on holidays and life's little luxuries. 'This was meant to be a milestone. 'Celebrity Cruises didn't even inform us of the initial delay and then the outright cancellation. 'We were informed by strangers who overheard our conversations. 'When we finally knew that it was cancelled, we couldn't even make emergency calls and had to borrow people's phones because we had British numbers.' Morgan and Davies were issued with a credit voucher each, both totalling £2,619. However, Morgan told The Sun: 'This is not good enough. 'First of all, you can't use the vouchers together, you can only use one voucher per cruise. 'You can't use the vouchers on special offers either, forcing people like us, who are working class, to pay for more expensive cruises. 'On top of that, they said they can't reimburse us for other charges incurred, like the taxi fee to get to the hotel. 'We didn't ask for any of this, and the way they have treated us has been disgusting.' A spokesperson for Celebrity Cruises said: "Celebrity Cruises is in contact with the guest and their travel agent directly on this matter."

Unexpected Love Island stars cosy up as they down shots at boozy reunion party

The gang caught up over shots following the end of the most recent series of ITV reality dating show Love Island, with the night including lots of dancing and a surprise coupling up The most recent batch of Love Island stars downed shots and got cosy as they reunited for a wild night out after leaving the villa behind. Swapping Majorca for Shoreditch, most of the cast from the ITV2 series showed up to enjoy a rooftop party at Kaso Rooftop, dancing the night away - with some of them getting very close indeed. ‌ Sharing their night out with fans on TikTok and Instagram, the group showed off their outfits and posted selfies, with some cheeky moments captured. Irish star Andrada Pop was seen necking spirits before getting close to bombshell Remell Mullings. ‌ Casa Amor bombshell Andrada, 27, wore a bright red figure-hugging dress with a plunging neckline. She and Remell, who never actually met on the show, clearly had a spark, with the pair laughing with each other, before posing for a selfie. It comes after one TV star admitted she sleeps in separate bed to partner as she fumes over pregnancy. ‌ Runners-up Harry Cooksley and Shakira Khan were inseparable as they were spotted kissing outside the venue. But their night was tainted when Harry's car got a flat tire, meaning he was forced to shell out £200 for an Uber home. Lucy Quinn has clearly moved on from her voice note drama, owning the dance floor in a silver mini skirt and top, while Megan Moore wore a shimmery mesh gown. Her Love Island partner and on-off boyfriend Dejon looked sleek as he wore all black, with the personal trainer brushing off criticism over how he treated his girlfriend on the show. The 26-year-old has been forced to defend himself after it was revealed a book was set to be released discussing alleged 'gaslighting and abuse' by him. Semi-pro footballer Dejon insists he has been the target of "untruths" in the book Surviving Dejon, written by his stepsister Niah Sienna. Discussing the backlash, Dejon told Capital XTRA: "There's a lot of untruths and a lot of unfair stories which I am challenging at the moment. The most important thing is that Meg knows who I am, my family know who I am, and my friends know who I am." ‌ He also expressed gratitude to Andrada Pop and Billykiss Azeez for their recent backing. Dejon explained: "Even shoutout to Andrada and Billykiss because when we saw them when was coming out of the villa they were basically saying, 'Dejon, there's so much things being said about you. "We know that's not you. We know that's not who you are as a person'. So yeah shoutout to them two because they didn't need to do that." ‌ He also recently took to social media to remind the public that he's a "human being with real emotions". He posted on Instagram: "I've stayed quiet, but that doesn't mean it hasn't affected me. "I hold my self accountable for my communication and everyday I'm growing as a person, so thank you for those who see the good in me. I'm not just a character on an entertainment reality tv show I'm also a human being with real emotions, some of the stuff I've seen said about me has been hard to deal with and they are the furthest thing from the truth." He added: "I questioned why people would do these things and it was getting me nowhere as I couldn't understand and is something I would never do to somebody else but what's kept me grounded is movement. ‌ "Running, training, pushing myself when everything in my head feels heavy. It clears my mind, helps me breathe, reminds me of who I am outside of the noise. "If you're struggling mentally, I get it. I really do. You don't have to have it all figured out just find that one thing that brings you back to yourself and take it one step at a time."

The most painful reality TV injuries ever, from torn vulva to 'accidental C-sec

Celebrity SAS contestant Lucy Spraggan has recently made headlines after suffering one of the most painful injuries in TV history. Sharing details of the grisly injury, she described how she 'tore' her vulva while filming the reality TV competition. 'I ripped my labia – it was bad,' she told The Sun. 'That's not a common injury. Actually, genuinely, that's never been the same, so much so I'm having some surgery soon to correct it.' She went on to say how she didn't really know what had happened to cause the tear, guessing only that the harness she had been wearing 'was tight'. Lucy's injury may have been one of the worst suffered by a reality TV contestant, but she's far from the only one to have been gravely injured in the name of entertainment. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. Here's our run-down of the most painful injuries in all of reality television. As you might expect from a show which has celebrities speeding around an ice rink with sharp blades attached to their feet, Dancing on Ice has had no shortage of casualties over the years. The most serious of these was perhaps Olympian Greg Rutherford, who suffered a grisly injury when he fell and landed on his own ice skate. During the long and painful recovery period, Greg likened the injury to 'having a C-section.' In 2021, Denise van Outen was forced to pull out after an accident left her with three bone fractures and a partial dislocation. Talking about the incident on Instagram afterwards, Denise described the pain as 'unbearable.' Greg and Denise join the likes of Jennifer Ellison (who kicked herself in the head with her own skate), Josh Jones (injured during rehearsals) and Keith Chegwin, who suffered cracked ribs on the first day of the competition. In 2018, Love Island star Dani Dyer was forced to drop out of the South Africa-set ITV2 series after only one day. The injury occurred as Dani went headfirst down a waterslide, dislocating her shoulder on the way down. A source said: 'Dani knew straight away she had done serious damage but tried to continue as she didn't want to seem like a wuss. It was too much, though, and she was taken to the hospital.' Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle's injuries sustained while filming ski competition The Jump are considered by many to be the worstto ever happen on a reality TV show. Beth was airlifted to hospital during rehearsals for the Channel 4 show, which took place at the show's ski jump set in Austria in 2016. According to Beth's lawyer, she sustained serious injuries, which included two fractured vertebrae, and required surgery on her spinal cord. In 2019, it was reported that Beth was suing the show's makers for £200,000 in damages. She claimed that she has never fully recovered from the incident, saying at the time: 'It's been a long journey and my recovery is still ongoing. I'm not sure I'll ever be 100% again.' A statement by production company TwoFour said: 'This matter is being dealt with by our insurers and we are unable to comment as the claim is ongoing.' Beth was one of many celebrities who sustained serious injuries on the show, including Tina Hobley (broken arm), Mark-Francis Vandelli (fractured his ankle), Rebecca Adlington (dislocated shoulder) and Sarah Harding (injured knee). Following these high-profile celebrity injuries, The Jump was put on indefinite hiatus in 2018. After injuring his leg during training for the ITV diving competition Splash! Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding was rushed to hospital with a blood clot on a lung on New Year's Eve. Not only did Rav's injury spoil his Christmas, but he also struggled to find work afterwards, and was forced to cancel his wedding to fiancée Jill Morgan. 'It breaks my heart that Jill and I had to cancel our wedding,' he told The Guardian at the time. When former MP Louise Mensch took part in the Channel 4 series in 2019, she was forced to drop out after ripping a muscle. 'After I quit, which I had to, I was completely injured, I wasn't going to let the team take punishment for me,' she told 'Every step was painful and they had me checked out at hospital and I had a three and a half centimetre rip in the back of my muscle, so literally every step was painful.' Not quite as grisly as a torn vulva, but still pretty painful. Former EastEnders star Nigel Harman had been one of the favourites to win Strictly in 2023. While his fortunes ultimately varied on the show, his journey came to an end when he broke a rib while training for the quarter-finals. He explained: 'I was leaping off a rostrum, and was about to be caught by some very handsome men, and as I flew, I was Peter Pan, and as I landed, I was in A&E. 'It's quite painful. This hasn't really sunk in. I've been avoiding Katya all day because that makes it really real as well.' It's not just the contestants who need to watch out; sometimes, the hosts find themselves in harm's way. More Trending While rehearsing for I'm A Celebrity spin-off Extra Camp in 2018, host Joel Dommett suffered a gnarly injury when he was struck on the head with a sign. He was subsequently rushed to hospital, where he was given seven stitches and the day off to recover. Before that, in 2005, former Neighbours star Kimberley Davies fractured a rib after jumping 15ft from a helicopter in a Bushucker trial. View More » Kimberley returned to camp but quit mere hours later, after being unable to cope with the immense pain. Got a story?
