THE third edition of OHSEM360 bersama Media Prima is set to make a grand return on June 12 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), offering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) a timely opportunity to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and data for business transformation.
Held under the theme Bisnes Mantap dengan AI dan Data (Business Resilience with AI & Data), the event is jointly organised by Media Prima and Dattel Asia Group.
The initiative aims to equip local SMEs with cutting-edge tools, insights and strategies in navigating Malaysia's rapidly digitalising economy.
Speakers such as Funnel Evo group chairman Fahdi Ghazali, Seed4Future chief executive officer Abang Naz and Broku chief executive officer Ku Addy will be among the 25 industry experts delivering exclusive masterclasses on AI integration, TikTok marketing and data-driven sales growth.
Supported by Platinum Strategic Partners, including Unifi Business, OMNIA and REV Media Group, OHSEM360 will also feature over 40 technology exhibitions offering tools and services with discounts up to 80 per cent, available only during the event.
This year, TikTok Shop joins as the official e-commerce platform and will host a dedicated workshop for entrepreneurs seeking to optimise their online sales.
One of the major announcements includes the launch of an RM50 million revenue-based financing fund powered by MyDataHub.ai, an AI-enabled platform tailored for SME financing and marketing needs.
"OHSEM360 is not just a platform for learning — it's a launchpad for action. SMEs no longer have the luxury of time; they need solutions that deliver immediate impact.
"With MyDataHub.ai as the official platform and sessions led by 25 experts, we're equipping businesses to turn AI and data into their competitive edge," said Dattel Asia Group chief executive officer and OHSEM360 organising chairman, Ashran Ghazi.
In a show of continued support, Unifi Business returns as a strategic partner.

REUTERS/Dado Ruvic/Illustration/ File Photo SINGAPORE (Reuters) -Temasek has joined a consortium backed by Microsoft, BlackRock and tech investment company MGX to invest and expand artificial intelligence infrastructure, according to BlackRock's investor day presentation slides on Thursday. The Singapore state investment company has joined AI Infrastructure Partnership, a group that also includes BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Partners, the slides showed. AIP, formed in September with a goal to initially invest more than $30 billion in AI-related projects, is one of the world's largest efforts to invest in data centres and energy facilities needed to power AI applications such as ChatGPT. It aims to mobilise up to $100 billion including debt financing for such investments, which will focus on the United States. Temasek's participation comes after the Kuwait Investment Authority joined AIP earlier in June. The sovereign wealth fund of Kuwait was the first non-founder financial anchor investor to join the consortium, which also counts partners including Nvidia and billionaire Elon Musk's xAI. "Temasek's investment in the AI Infrastructure Partnership reflects our focus on the big shifts and trends of the future," Ravi Lambah, Temasek's head of strategic initiatives, said in an email to Reuters. "AI is potentially the most transformative and impactful technology for all sectors and businesses," he added. Temasek did not disclose financial details of the investment. The global investment company had a net portfolio value of S$389 billion ($304 billion) as of March 31, 2024, according to its website. Micron expands US investments to $200 billion amid Trump's onshoring push

FILE PHOTO: Micron Technology's solid-state drive for data center customers is presented at a product launch event in San Francisco, U.S., October 24, 2019. REUTERS/Stephen Nellis (Reuters) -Memory chipmaker Micron Technology said on Thursday it is expanding its U.S. investments to about $200 billion, planning to dole out $150 billion for manufacturing amid President Donald Trump's push to onshore sprawling semiconductor supply chains. This marks an additional investment of $30 billion, beyond prior plans, Micron said, sending its shares down about 1% in premarket trading. Micron now joins a litany of U.S. tech firms and chipmakers who have announced hundreds of billions of dollars in domestic investments against the backdrop of Trump's efforts to produce more semiconductors on American soil. AI chip leader and Micron customer Nvidia said in April it is planning to build AI servers worth as much as $500 billion in the U.S. over the next four years with help from partners such as Taiwan's TSMC . Micron's additional investment will center around building a second leading-edge memory fab in Boise, Idaho and expanding a manufacturing facility in Manassas, Virginia. "These investments are designed to allow Micron to meet expected market demand, maintain share and support Micron's goal of producing 40% of its DRAM in the U.S," the company said, referring to a type of widely employed memory chip. Micron's investment aims to bring advanced packaging capabilities to the U.S.- a manufacturing technique essential to high bandwidth memory (HBM), which is employed extensively in the AI market, the company said. HBM is often characterized as a type of stacked DRAM technology. "Micron's investment in advanced memory manufacturing and HBM capabilities in the U.S., with support from (the) Trump administration, is an important step forward for the AI ecosystem," Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said in a statement. The company will also dedicate about $50 billion to R&D, Micron said. (Reporting by Arsheeya Bajwa in Bengaluru; Editing by Anil D'Silva and Maju Samuel)
