
Emmerdale star's final scenes air as they quit six years after soap debut
EMMERDALE star's Rachel Gill-Davis' final scenes have aired after she quit the soap.
The actress - who played Gail Loman in the ITV soap - bowed out today in emotional scenes after suddenly realising she wanted more from life than working in boyfriend Ryan Stocks' pub.

Instead she opted for a new life in Devon, having told
In today's episode she said a goodbye to Ryan, insisting he was a catch, before being driven to the train station by Mary Goskirk.
The actress made her debut as Ryan Stocks' girlfriend Gail Loman in 2019 for a brief appearance before making a shock return in 2023 for a full-time comeback.
However despite landing a role as a barmaid in The Woolpack and having a secret child return to her in a big storyline, Gail hasn't become a permanent fixture in the village.

A source said at the time: 'Rachael has loved her time on the show but it's time to go.
'Bosses felt the character wasn't inspiring much story and so it was all very amicable.
"The door has been left open but it's a definite goodbye for now.

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has reflected on "25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos - and one unforgettable journey" following her character's exit from the show. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's character George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off to her new life.
