Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco to make huge comeback in new mystery thriller for Prime Video
The 39-year-old actress - who is perhaps best known for her role as Penny on the hit sitcom 'The Big Bang Theory' - will soon be seen starring alongside Sam Claflin of 'Peaky Blinders' fame in the upcoming series 'Vanished' on Amazon's streaming platform.

When a couple's trip to Paris takes a dark turn with the sudden disappearance of her boyfriend Tom (Claflin) aboard a train to the south of France, Alice (Cuoco) is plunged into a web of intrigue and danger, uncovering secrets about the man she thought she knew.
Production is underway in Marseille, France for the four-part series and it is expected that it will debut on the streaming platform in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand at some point in 2026.
The new role will act as something of a comeback for Kaley, who has not been seen since 'Based On A True Story' concluded its two-season run towards the end of last year.
Prior to that, Kaley - who has 18-month-old daughter Matilda with her fiancé Tom Pelphrey - starred in the film 'Role Play' alongside David Oyelowo.
But the star - who shot to fame as a teenager with her role on the long-running sitcom '8 Simple Rules' - reverently admitted that she would be happy to return to her signature role as Penny on 'The Big Bang Theory', more than five years after it came to an end.
She told PEOPLE: "I would absolutely reprise that role.
'100%. I love that character, and I always will.'

Halsey was "cautiously picky" before deciding to make her major movie debut in Americana. The 30-year-old star features in Tony Tost's modern Western and explained that she "really connected" with the project, which is finally hitting cinemas later this month after being filmed in 2022. I got pregnant, had a whole pregnancy, gave birth to my son, had my son on set with me, and without giving anything away, it's really serendipitous to (her character) Mandy's arc in the film." Halsey stars in the movie alongside Sydney Sweeney - who had previously appeared in the music video for her 2019 song Graveyard - and was grateful to the Echo Valley actress for answering her "stupid questions" on set. She recalled: "We were actually hanging out a bunch during Covid, so when I got the call she was doing the movie we had like just gone hiking a few days before, so it was like, 'Oh cool, I'll see you there.' "It was just really great to have someone to learn from, to ask questions to - the stupid questions you don't think of. It was my first time on a movie set in a real way; just being like, 'Who do I look at? Who do I listen to? What's the cool code words I don't know, the actor lingo?' So having someone to ask the stupid questions to was great." Halsey - whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane - has revealed that she is developing the new Amazon series Bloodlust, although she is thankful that she will not be acting in the dark comedy. She explained: "I started the pilot a few years ago and Amazon wanted it and they took it and now we're getting it on the road. There's not so much that I can say but it's really cool to be part of a project that I don't face. It's quite relieving." Halsey added: "(I'm) just behind the scenes, just the puppet master. "I don't have to do my makeup."

Bonnie Tyler wants to record next James Bond theme
Bonnie Tyler has offered to record the next James Bond theme. The veteran performer previously turned down the chance to record the title music for 1983's Never Say Never Again - which starred Sir Sean Connery but was not made by Eon Productions - and Bonnie admits she'd love to be given another shot at singing a theme for 007. She told The Telegraph newspaper: "I'd love to do a Bond theme because I turned one down for Never Say Never Again. My God, I was so excited when they asked me, but then I heard the song and I didn't believe in it. "So, please, if anybody's reading this, I wish they'd ask me again because I want a Bond song." The theme for for Never Say Never Again was recorded by Lani Hall after Bonnie turned it down. The next Bond movie will be the first produced by Amazon MGM Studios following the surprise departures of long-term producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. The hunt is on for a new actor to play the lead role, but studio bosses have already hired Dune moviemaker Denis Villneuve to direct and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has been brought onboard to write the script. There has been no word on who will get the honour of performing the film's theme, but bookmakers William Hill recently tipped Raye and Dua Lipa to be among the frontrunners alongside other stars including Chappell Roan, Lana Del Rey and Ed Sheeran. Last month Lee Phelps, spokesperson for William Hill, said: 'After Denis Villeneuve was revealed as the director of James Bond 26, talk of who will sing the theme song has really begun to hot up. "Following her blistering performance at Glastonbury, Raye is our new 6/4 favourite to do the honours, jumping ahead of Dua Lipa in the betting, who is now 5/2. "The top five in the betting are all female artists, with Chappell Roan, Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga all towards the top of the market. The most likely male options look to be one of Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles or Michael Buble, all of whom are 20/1 shots."
