Love Island star resigns from fashion brand leaving £139k debt as prices are slashed by 90%

The Sun23-04-2025

OLIVIA Attwood has resigned from her luxury fashion brand, which is £139k in debt and is at risk of being struck off.
The Love Island star launched her clothing business, We Are Foolish, in November 2021 claiming that she wanted to offer 'timeless wardrobe essentials' to fans seeking a high street alternative.

Within three months, it was forced to temporarily shut down due to severe delays in getting stock to customers - and Olivia, 33, stepped down from social media after feeling "run down".
Now we can reveal more problems for the firm as Companies House has issued a strike off warning for failing to provide up-to-date accounts, which is a criminal offence.
The last accounts from 2023 reveal that the online fashion store is £139,919 in debt - and owes £275,528 to creditors.
While Olivia is still the face of the brand - she's modelling clothes on the website's homepage and Instagram - she quit the firm as a director last year.
As the brand's financial fortunes slide, the We Are Foolish site is offering discounts on its clothes of up to 90 per cent off.
A black 'quintessential blazer' was £175 is now going for a bargain £26.99 - and there's dozens of offers similar to this.
The site's blurb states that: "Foolish is a contemporary luxury brand by Olivia Attwood.
"Intentionally contradictory, Foolish embodies 'acting without judgement', a reflection of Olivia's no-nonsense attitude, humour and personal style.'
We Are Foolish was in the works for three years before its launch four years ago at the swanky W London Hotel.
Her now husband Bradley Dack led a host of stars at the fancy launch - including Towie 's Pete Wicks, Clelia Theodorou, Nicole Bass and Fran Parman, Love Island's Gabby Allen and Made in Chelsea 's Tom Dolemore.

"I'm really proud of it," Olivia told The Sun at the time.
"I've grown up so much in the past four years and I think my style has evolved. There will be people my age and older who want to invest in quality pieces that will last from season to season.
Olivia's representative has confirmed her resignation from We Are Foolish.
Love Island All Stars' Rich List
THEY came in search of love – but many walked away with far more than just a romantic connection.
From million-pound brand deals to hosting gigs and fitness empires, the stars of Love Island All Stars have made serious cash since leaving the villa.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu leads the way with a net worth of £1.6million.
With a £1million deal with Oh Polly, a £100,000 appearance on Dancing on Ice and four million Instagram followers, she reportedly rakes in up to £10,000 per post.
Gabby Allen has also turned heartbreak into hustle.
Now worth £1.3million, the personal trainer's fitness app and influencer deals helped her land top-tier brand partnerships.
Scott Thomas, worth an estimated £750,000, may have had a failed business venture – but he's still bringing in money through Instagram and appearances.
Curtis Pritchard and Luca Bish are each worth around £400,000. Curtis has boosted his income through dancing gigs, Weight Watchers partnerships and a new investment app, while Luca's celebrity connections and Instagram lifestyle help keep his bank balance healthy.
Kaz Crossley, now worth £250,000, swapped makeup for Muay Thai – and walked away with a $250,000 prize from The Challenge World Championship.
Marcel Somerville is estimated to be worth £100,000, while Elma Pazar and Nas Majeed are reportedly earning up to £1.7k and £1.4k per Instagram post, respectively – proving there's still plenty of money to be made in the world of reality TV.

New Love Island bombshell Toni reveals crippling health battle that saw her rushed to hospital

LOVE Island bombshell Toni Laites has opened about her chronic health condition ahead of entering the villa. The American star, 24, is set to enter the Mallorca house as the first bombshell of this year's series – and is r eady to bag a British boy as she believes they're "more polite with better manners" than their American counterparts. 6 6 But ahead of entering the villa, Toni shared that she is also battling an illness that leaves her in agonising pain. She said ahead of entering the show: "I have ulcerative colitis. I had to go to hospital the same week as my senior prom. "They told me, 'You can't go' and then they said, 'Surprise, you're going to prom!' "Nothing that exciting happens in Connecticut, so it was a big deal and a few articles were written about me." "What I hope people see from me being on Love Island is that not all illnesses are visible," she added. "It doesn't have to hold you back, you can travel etc…I live my life day-to-day like anyone else." In 2018, Toni was taken to prom straight from the hospital at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, with the team looking after her making sure she was primped and primed for the event. She wrote a gold sequinned mermaid gown for the event, and posed with her doctors before going. The hospital later shared photos of her getting ready on Instagram, writing: "After spending a week inpatient for a flare up of #UlcerativeColitis, 17-year old Toni Laites of Newington was told she would be unable to attend her her team of doctors and nurses at Connecticut Children's banded together to grant her a therapeutic leave, giving Toni the opportunity to experience the Cinderella prom she always dreamed of." Toni has said she's entering the Love Island UK villa because dating in the States is "a mess" – particularly after moving from Connecticut to Florida and then Las Vegas, Nevada. "I live in cities that are fast-paced and party places; Las Vegas and Florida," she explained. "People are here for a good time, not a long time. I live in Sin City! "I do love Las Vegas. I've met some of the greatest people I've ever met there. I'm willing to relocate, it would just break my heart to not have my job anymore." She warns that her "icks" are bad breath, bad hygiene, and not being dressing appropriately for a date. Toni will enter the house this week, with the series kicking off on Monday night with Maya Jama welcoming this year's line-up to the villa. What is Ulcerative Colitis? Meghan Markle shrugs off twerking backlash with carefree beach snap

Meghan Markle has shared a carefree beach snap after she was accused of 'over-sharing' in a 'cringeworthy' video of her twerking to celebrate her daughter's birthday Meghan Markle has brushed off backlash surrounding her "cringeworthy" twerking video with a carefree beach snap. The Duchess of Sussex spoke of 'running into the weekend' as she frolicked in the water in her most recent Instagram post on her As Ever account. ‌ The 43-year-old was pictured prancing in the water on a sunny beach, sporting a flowing white sundress as she revealed her excitement 'for all the good to come'. ‌ Just hours earlier, she had shared a series of heartwarming photos featuring herself, Prince Harry, and their children - six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet - during a memorable family trip to Disneyland. Sharing the montage with her 3.7million followers, the mother-of-two described their two-day visit as "pure joy" and expressed gratitude to the park for the special experience. She also highlighted the fun-filled moments the family enjoyed, from thrilling rides to indulging in delicious treats. Offering a glimpse into their life in the U.S., she included a sweet photo of Archie and Lilibet meeting Elsa from Frozen for the first time, along with a touching shot of Prince Harry and Lilibet sharing a ride together. This latest social media update follows an earlier post that raised eyebrows - a lighthearted but awkward video of her and Prince Harry dancing in a hospital room in an effort to induce Lilibet's birth. ‌ The candid video, which runs for more than a minute, also features Harry, who is seen dancing in and out of the frame. He is beckoned in by Meghan as the pair dance together, with the duke appearing at the end with the hood of his grey hoodie up as he continues his dance moves. Meghan is wearing a black maternity dress and cradles her large bump as she dances, as well as lifting her skirt above her knees, raising her hands in the air and wiggling low with her hands on her hips and legs. ‌ The release of the footage is one of the more unusual ways a member of the royal family has marked a royal birthday. Earlier, the duchess posted never-before-seen intimate family photos of 'Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer' Lili. Meghan shared a black-and-white snap of herself cuddling the princess, who was sat on her lap, with the pair both sporting windswept hair, seemingly on a boat. Another image showed Meghan tenderly cradling newborn Lili as she enjoyed skin-to-skin time with the new addition to her family in 2021. In a later post, she described how Lili's relationship with Harry was 'the sweetest bond to watch unfold'.

Now 42, Matt has undergone quite the transformation, swapping his signature bleach blonde locks for a more natural brunette look. He's still modelling, but his life off-camera is centred around his wife Rachael, whom he married in 2016, and their daughter Lily, born in 2018. He even posted pictures from Ryan's 40th birthday celebrations last June. Matt's modelling career kicked off when he signed with Boss Model Management, landing several high-profile campaigns, reports the Mirror. He's currently represented by Model Team. Matt and Katie Price began dating shortly after she welcomed her first son Harvey with ex Dwight Yorke in 2002. (Image: Phil Harris) (Image: @mattpeacock27/Instagram) The then 24 year old star was spotted by 18 year old Matt at a car show where she was striking poses as a model. The two soon entered into a whirlwind romance and even did a joint interview for a high-profile magazine. However, their relationship was fleeting, lasting merely two months before coming to an end following a significant dispute. According to friends, Matt found it tough to cope with the limelight during their time together. Matt's subsequent entanglement was his marriage to Katie's rival Jodie Marsh, tying the knot on the reality TV spectacle Totally Jodie Marsh: Who'll Take Jodie Marsh Up The Aisle? in 2007. Their wedding took place amidst the buzz of Brentwood's Sugar Hut nightclub, but the union was short-lived, with Matt confessing later that Jodie seemed more interested in his past liaison with Katie rather than him. Matt later found himself with glamour model Rhian Sugden, their romance spanning a year before they called it quits. Rhian later made headlines again due to a text message scandal involving TV star Vernon Kay in 2010. Come 2020, Matt shared his personal fears about potentially losing his career because of hair loss. Speaking to The Manchester Evening News, he confessed: "Losing my hair had been knocking my confidence for a few years and it was really affecting my day-to-day life. "I felt so much pressure to look good and keep the modelling jobs coming in to pay my bills and keep a roof over my family's head. Social media can be a big problem too, with such an expectation of perfection. We live in such an image-obsessed world. I went for a hair transplant and it has truly changed my life."
