He took to his Instagram Stories and penned a note for Shanaya Kapoor for her film debut. He also praised Vikrant Massey for his acting prowess and shared the trailer on Instagram.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is directed by Santosh Singh and is based on Ruskin Bond's story — The Eyes Have It. Produced by Zee Studios, Mini Films and Open Window Films, the film is scheduled for release on July 11. The film marks Shanaya Kapoor's long-awaited Bollywood debut. After Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Shanaya Kapoor will be seen in director Bejoy Nambiar's survival thriller, Tu Yaa Main, where she will star alongside Adarsh Gourav.
In a recent chat with us, Shanaya called facing the camera a 'surreal" experience. She said, 'Facing the camera is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It's such a surreal feeling. Like, after the cut, you go back and you're like, 'Oh my God, that's going to last forever'. So, you cannot take this lightly. You owe it to the camera and the audience. You owe it to the actor you're working with, the crew that is there waiting for you to get that shot, and, of course, also owe it to yourself. That's the least amount that I can do to have something so big that it's everlasting. I'm just happy with how things have happened."
'There were moments where I was thinking this is just not going to happen, or maybe this is not meant to happen, and it's it. You had those feelings, but you had to pick yourself up. You have to keep working. And what was like, my mom always says, 'The universe has a plan and trust the universe, put your head down. What's in your control, you control that,'" she concluded.
