Southwest flight chaos: Drunk NYC woman dragged off plane after hair-pulling, spitting incident; worked with top brands

A drunken passenger arrested at New York's LaGuardia Airport for causing a late-night scene on a Southwest Airlines flight — including grabbing another woman's hair, spitting and refusing to calm down, has been identified as a New York City-based artist who has worked with major fashion brands.
The passenger, 32-year-old illustrator Leanna Perry, has previously worked with major fashion and beauty brands like Maybelline, Adidas, Steve Madden, MAC, and Hot Topic, her online profile shows.
The violent episode unfolded early Tuesday morning at LaGuardia Airport, where Perry was filmed yelling at fellow travelers and resisting efforts by airline staff to remove her from the plane. Witnesses described her as acting 'possessed' before she was eventually restrained and escorted off the aircraft.
Perry's website reveals she started working as a lead designer at Maybelline last year and has also collaborated with designers Betsey Johnson and Nicole Miller, the New York Post reported.
Perry, who police said was 'intoxicated' when she was removed from the flight before takeoff, was caught on camera shouting at a female passenger, calling her a "fat a** bitch," and pulling her hair.
Video footage shows Perry shouting, "Shut the f**k up, don't f**king touch me!" at the startled passenger, before other travellers and airline personnel stepped in to intervene.
Despite repeated requests from Southwest staff members, Perry refused to release her grip on the woman's hair, as evidenced in the recordings.
Although staff eventually managed to separate them and restrain Perry's hands with zip ties, she remained uncontrollable.
Perry persisted in directing verbal abuse towards the woman, whilst also targeting other passengers with her outburst.
According to the criminal complaint, she proceeded to kick and spit at officers during their attempts to remove her from the plane and take her into custody.
Following the incident, Perry received medical attention before being transferred to the New York City Department of Corrections, according to PAPD.

Bihar 2023 police scam;ED conducts multiple searches

Patna: The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday conducted multi-state searches in connection with a money laundering investigation into an alleged scam in the recruitment of police constables in Bihar during 2023, official sources said. At least a dozen locations of private entities like agents, exam paper leak syndicate members and their associates in Patna and Nalanda in Bihar, Ranchi (Jharkhand), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and Kolkata (West Bengal) were raided under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the sources said. A press in Kolkata in which the exam papers were printed was also covered by the investigators of the federal probe agency, they said. The masterminds of this alleged scam are the same as that of the NEET UG paper leak 'scam' of 2024, they said. The Bihar Police Constable 2023 recruitment was aimed to fill 21,391 vacancies across various units of the Bihar police. The examination was conducted at 529 centres across 37 districts of Bihar on October 1, 2023 attracting over 18 lakh aspirants. Following allegations of the exam paper leak, it was cancelled by the state central selection board of constables (CSBC) on October 3 that year. The money laundering case stems from some Bihar Police (economic offences unit or EOU) FIRs. The ED suspects money laundering in this case as a gang of agents generated 'proceeds of crime' (illicit funds) by leaking the exam papers and selling it to aspirants and used the money given by the candidates to create personal assets. Some Bihar police officials are also under the scanner of the ED, as per the sources. The state police had arrested seven private people in this case, including three from West Bengal. An inter-state gang headed by Sanjeev Mukhiya was termed by the police as the perpetrators of this paper leak. Mukhiya has worked as a technical assistant in a government college in Nalanda district. He is currently lodged in judicial custody. The Bihar EOU found that an accused named Kaushik Kumar Kar had a Kolkata-based firm, Caltex Multiventure Pvt Ltd, and he was awarded the contract to print and supply the question papers for the constable recruitment examination. However, it was discovered that Caltex Multiventure Pvt Ltd was a a one-room 'shell' company with no employees, and printing and supply of question papers was outsourced to a company named Blessing Secured Press Pvt Ltd, where Kar's wife was a director.

Not everyone turned on Vince McMahon— WWE Stars still praise him amid allegations!

विंस मैकमोहन Vince McMahon is gone from WWE , but not forgotten by those who are still close to him. Vince McMahon became one of the most prominent figures in the business world. His most notable achievement was transforming a regional wrestling promotion he bought from his father into a global giant we know today as WWE. However, he left the company in 2024 after major allegations by former employee Janel Grant. Despite the seriousness of the issue, there are reportedly many within the industry who have not changed their opinion about McMahon to this date. What is the perception about Vince McMahon among those he worked closely with? Sports Illustrated journalist Justin Barrasso recently reported on McMahon's perspective within the wrestling industry. According to him, the former WWE Chairman and CEO is still in high regard among wrestlers who possibly worked with him during his time as the company's frontrunner. He said, 'Speaking with wrestlers off-the-record, there is a great deal of support for McMahon, as many note that McMahon is still held in high regard.' Vince McMahon's reputation did take a hit after the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant became public. Despite that, superstars like John Cena , Natalya, Carmella, and others spoke highly of the boss and credited him for their success in the wrestling business. Elsewhere, McMahon has been busy setting up his new company, '14th&I..' Barasso in the same report also stated that fans should not expect it to produce scripted content. 'Those with inside knowledge are not sold on the idea that McMahon's investment firm, 14TH & I, is going to suddenly develop television shows or movies, a process that generally takes years to materialize' , said Barasso. Moreover, there have been heavy rumors circulating about McMahon possibly looking to purchase WWE's partner promotion, TNA Wrestling, which signed a multi-year deal with the Stamford-based company this year for talent exchanges and crossover matches. Regarding his lawsuit against Janel Grant, the former WWE Chairman is still under federal investigation. Despite being distanced by WWE's parent company, TKO Group Holdings, Vince McMahon looks to be commanding major respect for his contributions to the world of professional wrestling.
