
Suspicious person reported on Kitchener trail

Waterloo Regional Police have released the photo of a person who reportedly followed a girl in Kitchener.
On Sunday, at around 5:50 p.m., she was walking along the Iron Horse Trail when a stranger approached.
Police said the male made several attempts to interact with the girl and then followed her into Victoria Park, where she sought help from a parkgoer.
Police are hoping someone can identify the male in the image.
He's described as Black, approximately 6'0' tall with curly hair, and was wearing a red and black plaid shirt, beige cargo pants and black running shoes with white soles.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the WRPS' Special Victims Unit at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers.

Man charged for speeding and impaired driving in Sarnia
A man has been charged after his arrest for speeding and driving impaired, while under driving prohibitions. On May 28, police stopped and arrested a man on Blackwell Road in Sarnia. He was driving 180 kilometres per hour in a 50 zone, and his two breath tests both resulted in double the legal limit. Police investigating fatal crash in Midland
Curry Road is closed between Midland Point Road and Tay Point Road in Midland following a fatal crash on Friday (supplied). A 19-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash in Midland Friday afternoon. OPP were called to the scene along Curry Road just before 5 p.m., where police found an injured man near a badly damaged motorcycle. Officers say paramedics performed life-saving measures on scene before taking him to a local hospital, however, it was there where the Tay Township man was pronounced dead. Police say Curry Road is expected to remain closed late into the evening between Midland Point Road and Tay Point Road for an investigation. While the investigation is ongoing, police do not believe any other vehicles were involved. Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact the OPP.
