Dog Goes Viral Waiting For Treats From 94-Year-Old Neighbor Following Death
The dog, named Honey, is owned by Abigail Morrow. A routine was created between Honey and her 94-year-old neighbor who would stop by and offer the dog treats and pets. This routine happened every morning up until the 94-year-old's death. Though this didn't stop Honey from waiting by the fence each day.
The 94-year-old neighbor, named Edna, did have the opportunity to tell Honey goodbye prior to her death. This was explained on a post via X. Apparently Edna's family informed Abigail about her failing health and how she wanted Honey to visit her at the time.
'They did actually get to say goodbye to each other, which was the sweetest thing. Her family texted us when she had gotten pretty sick. They texted us and asked if we could bring Honey. Honey got to give her lots of sniffs and lots of kisses on the hand and say goodbye to her friend. So they really did have just such a special bond.'

Similarly, on TikTok, Edna's granddaughter, Susan, commented on the video of Edna and Honey to express how grateful she was to see their bond recorded. While Susan confessed she is 'now crying' as a result, it's something she loved to see and she further emphasized how much Edna loved Abigail's 'fur baby' Honey:
'Thank you for capturing this. I am now crying, but my grandma loved your fur baby so much,' she said. @abigail_morrow I know she's in heaven now 🕊️ she was the sweetest neighbor we've ever had #memories #sweetdog #wholesome #crying #inheaven #emotional ♬ What Was I Made For? It's certainly a sad story but one that's bittersweet and a true example of how loyal a dog can be. At the very least, it's nice knowing that Edna had the opportunity to say goodbye to Honey. Now that's a true friendship story. As of this writing, Abigail's viral TikTok video with her dog and Edna has more than 34 million views.

Influencer Breaks Spine Attempting Nicki Minaj Stiletto Challenge
Originally appeared on E! Online Never try to walk a mile in Nicki Minaj's heels. Russian influencer Mariana Barutkina lived out the cautionary tale after trying the viral stiletto challenge—which sees users attempt to balance in heels while striking a pose to Minaj's 'High School'— and subsequently fracturing her back just weeks after giving birth. 'I decided to start blogging,' Mariana wrote in an August 1 Instagram post alongside the video of her toppling off her kitchen counter, 'and here I am leaving the doctor diagnosed with Th9 compression bending uncomplicated fracture of the body.' As the influencer joked, 'the irony? Karma? Or just life, which always tests our strength at the most unexpected moment.' Mariana's spill saw her attempting to balance on a saucepan and a canister of baby formula stacked on top of a kitchen counter. Although she managed to maintain her balance for a few minutes, the video quickly took a turn when she fell backward off the high countertop. More from E! 'Because of one video, which was unsuccessfully filmed, I woke up a popular person,' Mariana added in a subsequent post. 'More than 50 people sent me my reel from different publications today.' And the mommy blogger assured that she and her newborn were doing fine in light of the fall. 'I'm doing great, following the guidelines and now living in 'star' status,' Mariana continued. 'Whoever worries about my child is also calm, he has two nannies and while I was filming one of them was with him.' Mariana's fall is far from the only accident to go viral as of late. Earlier this summer, a Savannah Bananas baseball player Robert Anthony Cruz had a taste of social media stardom after a failed attempt at a backflip during a live CNN broadcast. As the clip made rounds around the internet, Robert assured he was not only OK—but in on the joke. 'Hey guys, for the record you have my full permission to laugh,' he wrote in an Instagram Story July 24. 'I can't not laugh every time I watch it, too. With the sound, it's crazy.' Brandi Glanville suffers severe chemical burns on her face while trying to self-treat mystery illness
Brandi Glanville is sharing a painful beauty lesson with fans after suffering severe chemical burns to her face. The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star took to social media to reveal that she smeared Nair, a hair removal product, on the lower half of her face in an attempt to drive out what she believes to be a "parasite" living in her face – one she has named "Caroline." "I know I look attractive," Glanville, 52, joked in a TikTok video as she documented the aftermath. "Good news," she added, "You don't have to spend a lot of money on peels and lasers anymore." While the reality star laughed off the incident in her video, the visuals told another story. Glanville's face appeared red, irritated and burned. In the video, she went on to explain that she believed applying Nair would aggravate the parasite, leading to an improvement in her complexion. "Nair is the fountain of youth. I figured it out," "The Traitors" star said. "But I overdid it." In a caption accompanying the viral clip, Glanville warned viewers to test the product before applying it. "Beauty hacks (this is a good one but do a test patch) I did 7 minutes and I'm on fire soooioko don't to 7 minutes it also burned the loose skin off my arms & its 7 dollars mix up some aloe vera, cucumber and black tea put it in the freezer put it in the spray bottle and once its cold enough spray all day cause I'm in some pain." Followers were quick to express concern, as many urged Glanville to seek professional medical advice before attempting any more DIY treatments. "NAIR is not meant to be a chemical peel. Brandy, please don't do anything that's not recommended by a professional doctor. & even then be cautious & get second opinions. This can be so dangerous. I hope you have a speedy recovery," one user commented. Another added, "Please do NOT put Nair [on] your face!!" "Nair is NOT the fountain of youth! I hope you heal well, because that looks like a terribly, painful, infected burn," a comment read. Glanville's beauty mishap occurred after she was rushed to the hospital in April after calling 911 herself amid her ongoing battle with a possible parasite. The "Real Housewives" star shared an update with fans on social media at the time. "My head and neck would not move for four hours this morning," the 52-year-old TV star wrote. "I could not get out of my bed. I called 911 had a lovely trip in the ambulance now I am at this amazing place after sitting in a wheelchair in the waiting room for four hours." The reality star did not share specific details of her emergency room visit. Fox News Digital reached out to a representative for additional information.

The Human Urge to Corrupt These Wholesome Critters
When Paul Welander, a health care worker in Britain, heard about a lawsuit that the maker of Calico Critters toys recently filed against a social media content creator, he wasn't totally surprised. The critters, introduced in 1985, are tiny velvety-bodied animals — rabbits, mice, moles, bears, beavers, badgers, pigs, penguins — dressed in modest clothes and sold in sets as families. The lawsuit alleges that the creator committed copyright and trademark infringement by making videos that portray the twee toys in scandalous situations: having affairs, driving drunk, taking drugs. Videos not unlike the crassly captioned pictures of the toys, also known as Sylvanians, that Mr. Welander, 51, started sharing on social media back in 2016. One of his posts, featuring a photo of two squirrels in cottagecore attire near a pile of leaves, had the caption: 'Cover the feet, we have till spring to get our story straight …' Another, featuring a bushy-tailed rodent sitting at a piano, was captioned with a lyric from the song 'Baby Got Back.' It read, 'I like big butts and I cannot lie, you other brothers can't deny …' When Mr. Welander began sharing the posts on X (back when it went by Twitter), his account, called Sylvnianans, amassed some 10,000 followers within a week, he said. He attributed the interest in it to the humor of imagining the squeaky-clean creatures engaged in 'adult topics,' as he put it. Soon after, his account was suspended. The reason Mr. Welander was given, he recalled, was for 'misrepresentation of a product.' A representative for X said it would be hard to confirm the reasons for actions taken against accounts as far back as 2016. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.
