The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3 sets turned into the biggest musical mehfil on television this Saturday, 16th August! To celebrate Independence Day, Vishal Dadlani, Sheykhar Ravjiani,
Shaan
, and Neeti Mohan join Kapil and the gang for an episode packed with timeless tunes, wild fan stories, and pure stage masti.
Kapil brilliantly mimics Nana Patekar and hilariously suggests that kids today look up to patriotic Bollywood heroes like Nana Patekar and Sunny Deol. The legendary Vishal–Shekhar kick things off with a stirring Vande Mataram and then take a nostalgic journey from Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi to Fighter, marking 25 years of music, melody, and mutual forgiveness, with Vishal admitting he gets angry often and Shekhar forgiving him just as often.
Vishal celebrates his own 'azaadi divas' by joking that he doesn't have a wife. Shaan shares his strangest fan encounters and brings nostalgia to life while crooning Suno Na. Neeti adds romance with the soulful Tu Hai Toh and gets flustered when Kapil suggests she try acting in films. The banter soars to heights only these four can reach.
From Vishal's misunderstood Ludhiana wedding 'threat', to Shaan's script-less comedy film debut, to the debut song that launched both Vishal–Sheykhar and Shaan together, it's a mixtape of laughs and nostalgia.

The comedy crew turns the mehfil into full-blown mayhem, Sunil Grover, the character chameleon, this time morphs into Fulljar Saab, an uncanny mimicry of Gulzaar saab and Uchit Narayan, Krushna Abhishek's Dada grooves to Julie Julie with the singers, and Kiku Sharda's Jhappi Da has the set resonating with laughter.
And get this, Kapil didn't just give his number to an air hostess… her mom caught him red-handed.
Capping it all, the show honours superfan Simran Sharma, a visually impaired athlete and bronze medallist at the Paris Paralympics, with her husband and coach Gajendra Singh, in a moment that'll give you true goosebumps. The duo invoke pride in the audience, as they recount their journey to success.

Kangana Ranaut reacts to allegations of going after married men with kids, calls film industry ‘dirty, filthy and unkind to outsiders': 'I got called for a casting couch'

Kangana Ranaut recently addressed allegations of 'going after married men with kids,' reflecting on the larger societal tendency to hold women responsible in such situations. In an interview with Hauterrfly, she said, 'When you are young and ambitious, and a married man with kids hits on you, it's you who are falling for someone in a relationship. It's not the man's fault. People always find a way to blame the women in the situation. Look at the rape victims who get blamed for wearing certain types of clothes or being out late at night. All these are markers of the wrong mentality.' Calls film industry 'dirty and unkind to outsiders' Weighing in on the darker side of showbiz, Kangana revealed she has faced casting couch propositions. 'Of course I got called for a casting couch. The industry is a dirty and filthy place, and it's very unkind to outsiders. I talked about this very openly and extensively during the 'me too' campaign,' she said. The Emergency star added that exploitation is not limited to mainstream cinema. 'Outsiders deal with a lot of exploitation in this place, and that also happens in the parallel industries, like in Lokhandwala. I have gone to these places, I have worked there, and I am lucky that I got a break early in my life. There are so many people who still wander those streets and have lost themselves and their identity,' she noted. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Benefits of Trading Bitcoin CFDs IC Markets Learn More Undo Kangana Ranaut BLASTS Jaya Bachchan as 'spoilt and privileged'—calls her a disgrace On working with male co-stars In the same interview, Kangana also commented on the conduct of male actors in the industry. 'Maine zyada heroes ke saath kaam hi nahi kiya hain! Mera main concern yahi tha ki badtameez bahut hain heroes (I haven't worked with so many heroes. My concern was that these heroes were extremely impolite),' she said. On the work front Kangana was last seen in her directorial Emergency (2025), portraying India's former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the political biopic based on The Emergency: A Personal History by Coomi Kapoor and Priyadarshini: The Daughter of India by Jaiyanth Vasanth Sinha. She will next be seen in an untitled psychological thriller directed by AL Vijay, co-starring R Madhavan.
