A New Wonder Woman is in Development and Andor's Adria Arjona is at the Top of the Fancasts
Gal Gadot may have appeared in The Flash , but just like with Superman, it does look like DC is ready to reboot Wonder Woman as well.
In a recent talk with Entertainment Weekly, DCU co-head James Gunn has confirmed that a new Wonder Woman movie 'is being written right now'. We don't have much details, but fans are already calling for a new WW to take Gadot's place.

Even before the reboot announcement, Arjona has been a fancast that's been going around online. She was particularly popular thanks to the success of Disney+'s Andor where she plays the part of Bix.
Of course, there are still other actresses that have been getting fancast online besides Arjona. One other star who may have a good chance is Ana de Armas who recently showed off her action chops in Ballerina . Some have also been pitching May Calamawy from the Moon Knight series.
Personally, I was a fan of the Gadot casting for BvS , and Gadot really did bring a unique flavor to her Wonder Woman which really shone in the solo movie. It's just a shame that the sequel wasn't able to capture audiences like expected.
I would personally love it if Gadot was able to make a third film, but seeing as how there's a dedicated bash network for her online, maybe DC may want to cast someone else.
No release date has been set for the Wonder Woman reboot.

Regardless of what the internet says, I thought Madame Web was a highly entertaining movie, but star Dakota Johnson had been getting nothing but flak for it, even getting awarded the Worst Actress Razzie in 2024. 'I recently actually exchanged texts — well, I got a voice note — from Sandra Bullock, because I don't know if you know, but I won the Razzie for Worst Actress… There's a lot of good people who have won that… but Sandra Bullock sent me a voice note, being like 'I heard you are in the Razzie club and we should have brunch, we should have a monthly brunch.' Because I guess she won that the year that she won the Oscar as well. It was in the same year, I think.' For context, Bullock managed to win both an Oscar and a Razzie in the same year. She won Worst Actress for All About Steve , and an Academy Award for The Blind Side . Despite the flak that Johnson got for Madame Web though, it does seem like she still has a good following—at least where social media is concerned. There is a lot of hype for her upcoming movie Materialists , and I thought she was also great in Am I OK? on HBO Max. If anything, Johnson isn't being apologetic about Web at all, and she blames the film's flop status on 'creative decisions made by committee'. ' It's really hard to make art that way. Or to make something entertaining that way. And I think unfortunately with 'Madame Web,' it started out as something and turned into something else. And I was just sort of along for the ride at that point. But that happens. Bigger-budget movies fail all the time,' she says. For now, Johnson stars alongside Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans in Materialists which comes to cinemas on June 13.

Brad Bird Picks Elemental Director to Take On The Incredibles III
Brad Bird is a legend when it comes to animation, but The Incredibles II just never managed to get the same status as the original movie. As it turns out, Pixar still wants to make Incredibles III , and according to THR, Bird won't be directing, but he's picked someone to take-up the torch in the form of Peter Sohn, longtime Pixar animator and director of Elemental. Sogn himself has worked on every animated Bird film including Incredibles and Ratatouille , and was said to have been picked by Bird and Pixar CCO Peter Docter to take on the franchise. We don't have any details on what a third movie could be about, but it does look like Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter are going to be reprising their roles as Mr. and Mrs. Incredible. Bird is also said to be the one providing the script for this film. Though the first movie was considered to be an instant classic, The Incredibles II somehow failed to get the same kind of critical reception. We don't know if it's choosing to focus the story on Mrs. Incredible, but it did seem like a lot of the family dynamic that gave the first movie its energy seemed to be absent throughout most of the movie. Plus, a lot of flak has been thrown at the villain for having a pretty flimsy motivation. This chase scene with Elastigirl is still fantastic though: No release date was announced for The Incredibles III , but you can watch out for Pixar's Elio when it comes to cinemas on June 20.

A lot of fans were disappointed that Kaitlyn Dever was too old to play Ellie when The Last of Us series was announced, but they did manage to bring her to the show in the form of Abby—Ellie's rival. Now with Season 2 ended, and fans looking forward to Season 3, series co-creator Neil Druckmann has confirmed that Dever will actually be the lead for the next season of The Last of Us . Admittedly, game fans were worried that the series won't be able to milk the same kind of emotional reaction from players like the game did, but so far, I think the changes that have been done were for the better, including the reveal of Ellie and Joel's last talk and Abby's reason for going after Joel. Unsurprisingly, there are already a lot of fans that have been bashing the second season for not meeting expectations, but hopefully Druckmann and co-showrunner Craig Mazin stick true to where they want to go because I wasn't expecting the fandom to play nice—particularly with this very divisive story. I just hope we don't have to wait another two years to finally see what Abby's Seattle story is going to be like. No release date has been set for The Last of Us Season 3.
