Pete Davidson ‘couldn't be more excited' to fulfill ‘dream' of becoming a father
The 31-year-old 'Saturday Night Live' alum is expecting his first baby with his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, whom he has been romantically involved with since March, according to E! News.
Hewitt announced her pregnancy on July 16 with a series of photos and videos on Instagram.
On July 22, Davidson opened up about his upcoming role as a father while promoting his new horror film 'The Home,' which is set to be released July 25.
'I'm very lucky and very, very happy,' he told E! News at the film's New York premiere.
'I assume you just try to give them what you didn't have, and what you didn't like, not do it,' he explained, adding that he's most excited to 'take care of something and show it the childhood I didn't have.'
Davidson has even received some sound advice from fellow 'SNL' stars Adam Sandler and Colin Jost.
'Everybody's just been super excited for me, because they know it's been my dream,' Pete added. 'They all just have been like, 'You're going to be great at this. It's the best thing you'll ever do in your life.''
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, also at the premiere, Davidson noted that being a father has 'been my dream forever, since I was a little kid.'
'Honestly, I couldn't be more excited,' he told Entertainment Tonight.
The 'Bupkis' actor later praised his girlfriend and described her as one of his 'favorite people.'
'The baby's mother is one of my favorite people to exist ever. She's going to be a great mom,' he told ET. 'I'm just stoked and I hope to be the dad that I hope that I would have.'
Davidson has been open about wanting to be a father for several years.
During a 2022 appearance on Kevin Hart's 'Hart to Heart' talk show, Davidson described fatherhood as his 'favorite thing ever' that he has yet to achieve.
'That's like my dream. It's like, super corny,' Davidson, who was dating Kim Kardashian at the time, told Hart.
'It would be so fun. Dress up the little dude,' he added. 'That's kind of what I'm just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude, develop and get better so when that happens it's just easier.'
Now that he has a baby on the way, Davidson says it's the only thing that matters.
'I did it!' he quipped to Jimmy Fallon during his July 22 appearance on 'The Tonight Show.'
'Anybody who knows me, it's my dream to be a dad, so I'm so excited, Elsie is excited, I'm excited to see her be a mom,' he continued. 'It's the best. Everything else doesn't really matter anymore. It's nice.'
Davidson and Hewitt sparked relationship rumors in March after photos of the couple on vacation together went viral online, according to The Daily Mail.
Their relationship was confirmed by E! News and Us Weekly shortly after.
The couple were then spotted courtside at a New York Knicks game on April 6 before making their red carpet debut at the Endometriosis Foundation of America's annual fundraising gala in May.
Hewitt, who has endometriosis, brought Davidson as her date to the gala, per Us Weekly.
Hewitt has been linked to Jason Sudeikis, Ryan Phillippe and Benny Blanco in the past, while Davidson's dating history includes Kate Beckinsale, Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande, per Harper's Bazaar.

Tom Cruise Attends Band's Concert Years After They Threw Out Devastating Insults
Tom Cruise seems to be on good terms with a band that once called the actor a 'bastard' and insulted his entire filmography. The 'Top Gun' star was pictured at an Oasis concert over the weekend, nearly 20 years after brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher went off on the movie star in a 2007 documentary. 'He's a little fucker, and he's not been in one good film in his entire career,' Noel said in the documentary, called 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down.' Liam added, 'I hate Tom Cruise. Bastard.' But all seemed fine between the three now, as Cruise was all smiles at the reunion concert in a picture shared on social media. Cruise attended the concert with his rumored new love interest, fellow actor Ana de Armas. Goldie posted this picture on Instagram with Tom Cruise at Oasis' gig in Wembley yesterday. — Latest Oasis News (@scyhodotcom) July 26, 2025 The Gallaghers have famously feuded with nearly everyone ― including each other. The brothers disbanded in 2009 after a massive blow-up, and publicly insulted each other for years afterwards. Liam Gallagher was once asked by LA Weekly if he would reunite with his brother for an Oasis tour, and he gave a blistering answer in return. 'I'd rather eat my own shit than be in a band with him again,' the musician told the outlet in 2011. 'He's a miserable little fuck, if you know what I mean. But if the fans want it, though, I'd do it.' Fifteen years after breaking up, the brothers finally announced they'd made up and were going on tour together. 'The guns have fallen silent,' Oasis said in their announcement. 'The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.' Related... Supermodel Paulina Porizkova stuns in bikini and lingerie to show 'the beauty of 60'
Print Close By Christina Dugan Ramirez Published July 29, 2025 Paulina Porizkova is proud of her age — and her body. On Monday, the 60-year-old supermodel shared two photos of herself on Instagram while expressing her vulnerability and thoughts on aging. In the first photo, Porizkova posed in a white bikini while on a day bed near a body of water. In the second image, the model shared a mirror selfie in her underwear from a bathroom. PAULINA PORIZKOVA EXPLAINS WHY SHE BROKE DOWN IN TEARS 5 YEARS AFTER HUSBAND'S DEATH: 'I PRETENDED I WAS FINE' "This is me. Vacation, pretty light, posing for a shot," she wrote in the caption. "This is also me. Home, not great light, not posing. This is 60." APP USERS CLICK HERE TO VIEW POST "This is 60 years of sometimes healthy eating, sometimes not. 60 years of sometimes working out, sometimes not. 60 years of doing the right things followed by doing the wrong things and over again and again," she continued. "It's 60 years of learning of what works and what doesn't. And just as I think I've figured it out, everything changes and I have to start again." She added, "The beauty of 60 is that now I understand the importance is IN the lesson, not passing the exam," she concluded. When it comes to being real with her followers, Porizkova is fully on board. LIKE WHAT YOU'RE READING? One week after sharing a video of herself crying on the fifth anniversary of the Cars frontman's death, the supermodel took to social media to explain why she chose to be so vulnerable with her fans. "Last week I posted a video of myself crying," she wrote at the time. "It was the five-year anniversary of my husband's death. In some ways, it was a day made even more difficult by the fact in all the previous years I pretended I was fine. That I 'had pulled it together.' "For the benefit of my loved ones, I thought I had to act strong. To keep helming the ship. So no one but me would be afraid of drowning. The result of which, as I mentioned, was that everyone around me thought I was fine, and no one knew how hard my life was or how much I needed a hand." PAULINA PORIZKOVA SAYS SHE ASKED PALS TO BUY GROCERIES FOR HER AFTER CARS SINGER RIC OCASEK'S DEATH: 'NO CASH' "So, five years later, I let everyone know how I felt," she added. "I was sad. I was overwhelmed. Sentimental. And by admitting it out loud, I've had many other people reach out to let me know they had similar days. That five years after their loved ones passing was unusually difficult. That all of us in the grief club can have odd days of real struggle. And I made them feel better and less alone. And it goes without saying, they made me feel better and less alone. Thank you friends, both IRL and IG. I need you as much as ever."
