Tuesday Communications has announced the appointment of Mangesh Zemse as Creative Director, as the agency continues to strengthen its creative leadership and expand its regional capabilities.
Zemse brings more than 15 years of experience working across a wide range of sectors including fashion, FMCG, healthcare and film. Throughout his career, he has led integrated campaigns and design projects for both global and regional brands, with a focus on combining strategic thinking with strong visual storytelling.
His work has been recognised at major industry awards including Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx, The One Show, Clio, London International Awards and the Loeries. In addition to his creative portfolio, Zemse has also served as a jury member at the AME Awards and the New York Festivals Global Awards.
Commenting on the appointment, Alok Gadkar, Co-Founder, CEO and Chief Creative Officer at Tuesday Communications, said: 'Mangesh is a wiz with ideas. We like how he taps behaviour and research and delivers it through stunning visual craft. It's a thrill to have him in the mix. We look forward to producing great work together.'
Zemse will work across a number of key client engagements, contributing to the agency's roster of clients.
Earlier this year, in February, Tuesday also was awarded the creative mandate for Union Coop to develop content and communication strategies that align with the brand's positioning, adding to the agency's portfolio.

Dubai, UAE: Union Coop has announced exceptional financial and operational results for the first half of 2025, driven by strategic retail expansion, innovative digital services, and a customer-centric approach that has solidified its leadership in the UAE's retail sector. Mr. Mohamed Al Hashemi, Union Coop's CEO, revealed that the cooperative recorded a net profit of AED 173.6M after tax for the first half of the year, compared to AED 163.14M during the same period in 2024, marking a 6.4% growth. Profit before tax stood at AED 192M. Total income reached AED 1.158B, comprising AED 1.031B from retail sales, AED 88M from real estate, and AED 39M from other income. He added that second-quarter profits in 2025 grew by 13% compared to the same period last year, underscoring the efficiency of Union Coop's operational strategy. The cooperative's customer base also grew significantly, with new customers up by 30% and online sales increasing by 24%. 'In the first half of this year, we expanded our footprint with the opening of 1 new mall and 3 new stores, in Al Khawaneej, Nad Al Sheba, and Rukan Community, designed to the highest standards to cater to a wider audience,' said Al Hashemi. The company continued enhancing the shopping experience through 'Scan&Go' services in 2 stores and 'Check&Go' facilities in 7 stores, enabling faster and more convenient checkouts. Union Coop also reinforced its commitment to community empowerment, achieving a 35% Emiratization rate and recruiting 80 National Service members across 13 branches. The cooperative employs 721 women, reflecting its dedication to gender inclusion and diversity. Union Coop's achievements include recognitions like Best Brand Communication Campaigns 2025 at the Marketing Society Awards and Most Admired Customer Experience at the Golden Spoon Awards 2025. Al Hashemi credited these results to the trust of shareholders, the dedication of employees, and the loyalty of customers, reaffirming the cooperative's vision for sustainable growth and market leadership in the UAE's retail industry.

Saudi's King Salman Park appoints Chief Communications and Marketing Officer

Saudi Arabia's King Salman Park Foundation, one of Riyadh's four mega-projects, has appointed Simon Shaw, the former Chief Creative Officer at global communications agency Burson, as its Chief Communications and Marketing Officer. Shaw, who moved to Riyadh in April 2025 to take up the role, will oversee marketing and brand communications for King Salman Park. With prior roles as the Global Chief Creative Strategy Officer at public relations company Hill & Knowlton and Chief Creative Officer at Burson, Shaw brings a strong track record of working with international clients on their communications and marketing strategies, and activations. He previously led the strategy, creative and content teams, and headed strategic communications across major brands and corporate clients for both Burson and Hill & Knowlton, including clients in the Middle East region, China, the US and Europe. Simon Shaw – marketing, communications and architectural experience At Hill & Knowlton, Shaw was the first Chief Creative Officer. He led the creative transformation of the agency, building a network of 10 innovation and creative hubs around the world. These hubs house specialised expertise in content and publishing strategy, data and analytics, behavioural science, digital planning and optimisation, creative direction, and creative strategy. With degrees in architecture from the University of Edinburgh and the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL), Shaw began his career in architecture before transitioning into brand experience and strategy, and ultimately into marketing and communications. Commenting on the role in a LinkedIn post, Shaw said, 'I am proud and honoured to join the team at the King Salman Park Foundation as their Chief Communications and Marketing Officer. It is an opportunity to bring together my communications, marketing and architectural experience and play a small part in the delivery and operation of one of the most exciting and impactful projects in the capital city of Riyadh.' Before joining Burson, Shaw held significant creative leadership positions, including roles at Exposure, Good Relations and Imagination. His industry renown is underscored by his contributions as a speaker and judge at global events such as Cannes Lions and the D&AD, where he served as jury president.
