Insiders reveal why Scott Disick is done with love

Daily Mail02-05-2025

An insider has revealed that Scott Disick is done with love because he struggles to trust people's true intentions.
The source also told DailyMail.com that ex Kourtney Kardashian 's relationship with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker still 'stings'.
Scott, 41, and Kourtney, 46, were together for nine years and never married. They co-parent three children - Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10.
The pair first met at Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis's house in 2006 but split not long after he was seen with stylist Chloe Bartoli in the South of France in 2015.
The pair moved on with other people after their separation, with Kourtney linked to stars including Justin Bieber, but it was her relationship with the drummer that seemed to get under Scott's skin.
The Kardashians star started dating Travis in 2020 after a decade of friendship. They went Instagram official in 2021 and got engaged that October in Montecito.
A source said: 'Scott's entire life was built around Kourtney, and to an extent still is.
'Seeing Kourtney with Travis will always sting a little bit, but Scott is not able to change anything, and he knows that.'
The source continued: '[Scott's] concern is now for their children. He looks at the reality show as a job. He gets paid a massive amount of money to play the role of a family member.
'Scott is done looking for love. If it happens in his life it will come as a complete shock to him.
'He has women who throw themselves at him, but being famous has come at a cost as it's hard to know who wants him for him, or his fame.
'He has casual partners but he won't be putting a ring on any woman's finger.'
Scott has been publicly linked to model Bella Banos, 28, former Disney star Bella Thorne, 27, and Sofia Richie, 26.

Khloe Kardashian criticised for claiming her kids planned lavish birthday bash

Reality star Khloe Kardashian enjoyed an early birthday surprise when, she claims, her seven-year-old daughter and two-year-old son planned a party for her 'on their own' Khloe Kardashian was left in a birthday daze when her young children threw her a Care Bear themed early birthday party. The 40-year-old reality star will become one year older on Friday - but already has significant plans this weekend. The Kardashians star is one of many guests that have flown to Italy ahead of the wedding of Amazon billionaire businessman Jeff Bezos, 61, and journalist Lauren Sánchez, 55. The happy couple will swap vows at a lavish ceremony in Venice - and Khloe is just one of the famous stars expected to be in the pews. ‌ Before flying out to Europe for the celebrations, Khloe enjoyed some festivities of her own courtesy of daughter True, seven, and son Tatum, two. The kids have been credited with throwing a party for their mother which was Care Bear themed - taking Khloe completely by surprise. ‌ Sharing details of the event, the mum-of-two wrote on social media: "True and Tatum threw me an early birthday pool Party today! True and Tatum Planned it all On their own with my incredible team. We love @carebears." And the message was backed up by her social media influencer pal Olivia Pierson, who shared a video clip of people in Care Bear costumes dancing. She captioned the short clip: "Care Bear early birthday for @KhloeKardashian planned by True & Tatum." But fans have refused to believe that a toddler and a child could organise such a lavish party without their millionaire mother knowing. Ridiculing the star, one fan wrote online: "Does she think people are dumb enough and believe that her young children did this 'by themselves'?" On Thursday, Khloe was papped in Venice along with her sister, Kim Kardashian - who was deep in animated conversation with a newly single Orlando Bloom. Stars have descended on the Italian city in preparation for Jeff and Lauren's upcoming wedding. The wedding is set to take place over the weekend of June 27 - with a string of celebrations around and leading up to the big day as famous friends arrive in the Italian city to celebrate. But not everyone in the area is happy about the nuptials. ‌ Furious locals have targeted the wedding to accuse Jeff of not paying enough taxes considering he is one of the richest men in the world. Demonstrations against the businessman have even led to a last minute change in wedding venue after it was previously cited to take place in Cannaregio - a popular and central nightlife area. Reuters reports: "For weeks some local residents and pressure groups have been complaining that the event will turn the scenic city of gondolas and palazzi into a private amusement park for the rich, and threatened peaceful blockades. ‌ "After the wedding ceremony, whose location and exact date remain secret, although it is expected to be between Thursday and Saturday, some 200-250 VIP guests from show business, politics and finance will now head to a hall of the Arsenale, a vast 14th-century complex in the eastern Castello district." Khloe is believed to be attending the wedding single as she has remained single following her disastrous romance with Tristan Thompson who she shared her children with - and who famously cheated on her during her first pregnancy. Discussing her single status in December last year, the fame hungry star told Bustle: "Dating has not been a focus for me, and I've been single for about three years and love it. But I'm not single and dating. I'm just single. I have such power and strength in that. I'm not lonely."

Lorraine Kelly praised as she removes hair extension live on ITV show

Lorraine Kelly left her fans in awe as she removed a hair extension live on air this morning, making a confession about her own locks in the process. Fans of Lorraine Kelly have praised the daytime TV star following her on-air revelation today. The telly favourite displayed her natural look by removing a hair extension on this morning's show. Engaging candidly with viewers during a conversation with celebrity hairstylist Richard Ward, the much-loved Scottish host and mother pronounced that she sports the extension "for telly", highlighting an issue that affects countless women. ‌ As Lorraine reached behind her head, she briskly addressed her audience: "Can I just say, every morning when I'm on the telly, I have these wee things." Promptly, she pulled off a hair extension and whimsically swung it overhead, proclaiming playfully: "Look, da, da, da, da,". ‌ Her guest, the famed stylist Richard Ward, exclaimed with amusement: "Oh my god, that's fantastic," to which Lorraine humorously answered: "Aren't they great?! "I don't do it for real, true life, but I do it for telly. Helen puts them in in the morning," she delineated. The infectious moment was captured in the video clip below. In continued jest, Lorraine amusingly stretched the hair piece across her face and under her chin, reports the Mirror. "Look, ta da!" she quipped. "It can double as a beard." To this, Richard declared: "That is amazing." Lorraine chipped in: "It just gives you a little bit more round there." This afternoon, fans witnessed the fun unravel through a clip shared on Lorraine's official Instagram account.# ‌ Accompanying the snippet from today's broadcast, the caption read: "After celebrity stylist Richard Ward gave one viewer a transformation to help with thinning hair on today's show, Lorraine makes a confession about her own hair!". In the comments section, one admirer named Jai was moved to write: "I just love you." ‌ Belle chimed in with a heartfelt: "Love Lorraine!" while Deb conveyed her fondness, stating: "I just love Lorraine, she is so real and down to earth." Rachael Woolston proposed: "You should do a little segment on this as I know lots of women suffer from thinning hair in midlife." To which Jud concurred: "Yes, do a feature on hair pieces, wigs, supplements, etc! !". ‌ Upon sharing the same video on Facebook, further accolades came rolling in for Lorraine's candour. A viewer commented: "I love you and your honesty, you make us all feel real." with another adding their praise: "Well done, Lorraine." ‌ This personal revelation about Lorraine's hair struggles followed Richard Ward's makeover of a viewer's look, addressing thin hair concerns. Just the day before, the celebrated hairstylist informed his social media audience he would be appearing on the ITV programme. Richard disclosed enthusiastically: "[I'm] back on your screens with a transformation for someone struggling with thinning hair due to ageing, menopause, long COVID, or illness." He also promised: "If you've been holding onto long hair that's lost its fullness, don't miss this! Watch as [I] create a gorgeous, confidence-boosting summer restyle, delivering evidence that with the proper haircut and maintenance, thinning hair can still appear stunning." ‌ Hair thinning is a prevalent concern among women, especially given that nearly half of females over the age of 70 are impacted by female-pattern baldness. It's equally standard for women to undergo temporary hair loss following childbirth. Hair thinning during perimenopause and menopause is also notably common among women. The NHS states: "There are lots of different types of hair loss. ‌ "It can take the form of 'thinning' or involve a total loss of hair. It can be gradual or sudden; it can affect the old and the young. Hair loss can be genetic, or as a result of extreme stress, a medical condition or treatment. Hair loss is a well-known side effect of chemotherapy. It's also common for women to lose more hair than usual up to 3 months after they've given birth." The NHS advises: "Hair loss can be particularly difficult for women. But there are ways to cope." Should you encounter unexpected or significant hair loss, it's imperative to consult with a healthcare professional or dermatologist to pinpoint the cause and explore treatment options. Further information about hair loss can be found here. Treatment choices may encompass prescribed medications such as topical minoxidil (Rogaine), which stands out as a widely accepted treatment for female pattern hair loss, along with other potential medicines contingent on the diagnosis. For some individuals, undergoing a hair transplant procedure may offer a solution to improve hair density. Keeping a balanced diet, managing stress levels, and avoiding harsh hair treatments can all contribute to improved hair health. Certain supplements like biotin, iron, and vitamin D might be recommended to address nutritional deficiencies. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
