Snoop Dogg made a surprise appearance on the club's social media channels last week modelling their new home jersey for the 2025-26 season and the club announced on Thursday that he has become an investor.

His involvement comes after American businessmen Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen took over the club last November.

Swansea will hope that Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, can use his 100 million-plus social media followers to boost the club's profile as they seek to return to the Premier League for the first time since they were relegated in 2018.

Swansea's owners have said they want to generate greater revenue, which would allow them to invest more in new players under the profit and sustainability rules in British football.

The 53-year-old rapper said on the club's website: 'My love of football is well known, but it feels special to me that I make my move into club ownership with Swansea City.

It's the second straight Women's Euros final decided by Kelly scoring. England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton saved spot kicks from Mariona Caldentey and Spain superstar Aitana Bonmati, before substitute Salma Paralluelo dragged her shot wide of goal. The defending champion won the only way it knew how at this thrilling Euro 2025. England fell behind in the first half, fought back in the second and relied on its superb substitutes — just as it did against Italy and Sweden previously in the knockout rounds. England levelled the score in the 57th on Alessia Russo's header from a cross by Kelly after Mariona Caldentey had given Spain the lead in the 25th finishing Ona Battle's cross. England beat Spain 3-1 in a penalty shootout to win Euro 2025 on Sunday, successfully defending the title they won in 2022 after an enthralling encounter. The match ended 1-1 after extra time. Spain dominated possession and made the breakthrough in the 25th minute as Ona Batlle crossed and the England defence was caught flat-footed, allowing Mariona Caldentey to head the ball past Hannah Hampton. England levelled in the 57th minute, Alessia Russo heading home from a Chloe Kelly cross. With the game deadlocked at 1-1 after 90 minutes and extra time, England's Chloe Kelly netted the winner in the penalty shootout.
