Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick's ex, Linda Holliday, attend same Nantucket party months after holiday clash

It seems the ice has thawed in Nantucket.
Jordon Hudson and Linda Holliday were spotted at the same Massachusetts fundraiser on Saturday, roughly eight months after Bill Belichick's current gal pal and his ex-girlfriend, respectively, clashed at a holiday affair.
TMZ reported Monday that 'no issues were seen by partygoers' at the Boston Pops on Nantucket soiree, which is 'believed to be [Hudson and Holliday's] first public run-in' since the Nantucket Dreamland encounter last December, when Holliday confronted Hudson.

Holliday — who split from Belichick, 73, in 2023 after 16 years of dating — told organizers at the December 2024 gathering she felt Hudson's 'presence was inappropriate, since the event was widely advertised as a party headlined by her daughters,' and asked a staffer to 'remove Ms. Hudson from the premises,' according to an incident report obtained by TMZ in May.
Holliday and two others confronted Hudson on the dance floor, and when a staffer approached Hudson about whether 'she thought it was a good idea to be there,' the former college cheerleader defended herself, stating she hadn't done anything wrong.

However, the fireworks didn't stop there as Hudson claimed to the event staffer that her friend, former Miss Massachusetts USA Melissa Sapini, was 'seemingly threatened by Ms. Holliday, saying that if Ms. Sapini valued her current title, she should think twice about who her friends are and that she, Ms. Holliday, had many powerful friends in the pageant organization,' per the incident report.
Sapini joined Hudson for Saturday's festivities.

Hudson shot to immediate fame last June when she and Belichick went public with their relationship.
Controversies have followed the couple in the months since, including a CBS interview debacle in April when Hudson punted a question about how she and Belichick met.
Recently, the former Miss Maine USA contestant made headlines for cold-calling podcaster Charlotte Wilder, who has discussed her romance with Belichick on 'The Sports Gossip Show' with Madeline Hill, and later gave her take on the matter.

Tom Brady: Bill Belichick will prepare North Carolina players to play at 'next level'

North Carolina football made quite the splash with the hiring of Bill Belichick in December 2024, giving the six-time Super Bowl winner his first college football head coaching opportunity, past the age of 70. Now, with a little less than three weeks before the start of the Tar Heels' season, it remains to be seen what to expect from the Belichick-led Tar Heels this year. One person, however, at least has an idea of what UNC football players can expect from the first-year college football coach. Tom Brady, Belichick's quarterback from 2000-19 with the New England Patriots, believes the Tar Heels can expect to be run like an NFL-style program. "What they are going to get is obviously the most prepared, the most hardworking coach that I'd ever been around," said Brady, appearing on Fox college football analyst Joel Klatt's podcast on Monday, Aug. 11. "If you go to that school, you will be prepared to play at the next level. He's going to teach you the right fundamentals and the right techniques. He's going to have a high expectation for you and you are going to grow." It's well documented how Brady, now an NFL broadcaster for Fox and limited partner of the Las Vegas Raiders, developed from a sixth-round pick into one of the greatest NFL players ever under Belichick during their 20 seasons together in New England. The seven-time Super Bowl champion (he won one more with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020) also shared some of his thoughts on what challenges his former coach could experience in the college ranks. "I think the challenge for him is he's dealing with a lot of underdeveloped players because he's dealt with guys that are four, five, six years further along than what he's normally had to deal with," Brady said. "So I think there's probably a learning curve for him. ..." Brady also mentioned the amount of time Belichick will have with his players between games to go through film and work on their skills, considering they have to balance their workload as student-athletes. "What makes Coach Belichick so unbelievable, tactically, (is how) he can break down an opponent. He watches so much film. He's so smart in how he approaches defensive schemes and offensive schemes," Brady said. "How much can these young kids retain (that)? "That may be an interesting challenge, as well, because in some ways they're not professionals. They don't have as much time as we had as professional athletes to go in there and study film and practice and meet. They don't have that amount of time at the college level." Here's a look at Brady's appearance on Klatt's podcast: The ACC preseason poll picked UNC to finish eighth among the 17 ACC teams under Belichick this season. Moreover, the Tar Heels were neither ranked nor received votes in either of the US LBM Coaches Poll or AP Top 25's preseason rankings. UNC is set to open the Belichick era on Monday, Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. ET against TCU at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The USA TODAY app gets you to the heart of the news — fast. Jon Gruden ready for ‘truth' to come out in legal battle with NFL over leaked emails

Former head coach Jon Gruden is 'looking forward' to the 'truth' coming out over his allegations that the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell had leaked disparaging emails that Gruden had sent before his resignation as head coach of the Raiders in 2021. In a statement to ESPN, less than 24 hours after the Nevada Supreme Court ruled in his favor to prevent the league from forcing Gruden's suit into a closed-door arbitration, the Super Bowl-winning coach reiterated his claim that the league had a hand in the whole situation. 'I'm looking forward to having the truth come out, and I want to make sure what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else,' Gruden said. Jon Gruden speaks with the media following an NFL football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh, Sept. 19, 2021. AP 'The league's actions disrupted the whole season,' Gruden added. 'We were leading the division at the time, and they completely blindsided me and the team.' 'What happened wasn't right and I'm glad the court didn't let the NFL cover it up,' he added in his statement. The emails in question were published by the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times in October 2021 and showed Gruden using racist, sexist and anti-gay language in messages sent to then-Commanders general manager Bruce Allen in the years before Gruden's coaching tenure in Las Vegas. The emails came up during the NFL's inquiry into the Commanders' toxic work environment, and Gruden claims they were leaked to force him to resign as head coach of the Raiders, something he eventually did. Jon Gruden watches the Detroit Lions training camp with former Monday Night Football and current NBC announcer Mike Tirico at Meijer Performance Center. Lon Horwedel-Imagn Images ESPN reported the league will next petition the Nevada Supreme Court for a rehearing. If that fails, the NFL would then appeal to the United States Supreme Court. The Nevada Supreme Court ruled in Gruden's favor in a 5-2 decision, but the court did not determine the merits of Gruden's legal claims, only making the call on the NFL's attempt to push the case into a private arbitration.
