The Blizzards star's sister Andrea gave birth to a beautiful baby boy last Saturday, July 26.
Andrea and her husband named their bundle of joy Caelan.
It was a big week for Niall is also gearing up to release a new album called The Credence Frequency, which became available to pre-order this week.
As well as that, the 44-year-old performed at St. James Church in Mallow, Co. Cork, for the Mallow Arts Festival last Saturday.

Niall took to Instagram today to reflect on his accomplishments and new beginnings.
He posted a heart-melting photo of him looking as proud-as-ever while holding his new nephew in his arms.
Bressie also shared a snap of his girlfriend Louize Carroll and sister Andrea with Caelan, as well as sharing snippets of his gig and music.

However, just six weeks post surgery, the star shared how she was taken to hospital with an infection and fluid on her lungs. Today, Jessie gave fans an update on how she was doing. In an Instagram video, she said: "Good morning. I just opened my eyes and I've just realised that everything I've posted since surgery, which makes sense, is old and nothing's real time. But you know what, it's important for me to like remember that I'm not doing it consciously, I just haven't been actively making content for myself, I've just been trying to rest. "But I thought it'd be important to, I think people think that I'm like hanging on by a thread, which in some moments has felt that way. "Like two or three days ago when I woke up and I couldn't breathe. I still have pain in my chest when I breathe but it's not as bad. "And I have very few other symptoms now." "Um…I just wanted to share… ..kind of just to remember for myself and to anyone else that needs reminding that's going through something. Jessie J rushed to hospital with infection and fluid on lungs 6 weeks after breast cancer surgery "This is kind of what I love to share so much, because I know other people are doing the most. But I'm not." BACK IN HOSPITAL Fans were left concerned after Jessie revealed yesterday how she was back in hospital. Advertisement She shared a snap of an IV canula in her hand and explained how she had been admitted on Saturday morning. In the post, Jessie told : "How I spent the last 24 hours. 6 Jessie J underwent surgery for breast cancer in July Credit: Instagram "6 weeks post surgery and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery. Not expected or planned." Advertisement She went on to reveal: "I had and still have symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot on the lung. IT IS NOT A BLOOD CLOT THANK GOD. "They ran a lot tests, which ended up showing I have an infection (still trying to figure out what) and a little fluid on my lungs." "Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night (I hate being in hospital) and will continue the investigation as an outpatient." In the next slide, Jessie added: "I know many people who will have gone through this or similar may or may not agree with me on this or not, and that's ok. Advertisement "But I know for me, the true hard journey of this whole thing physically, was the day I went into surgery. "The recovery, physically, is far from quick or easy, and mentally, it's been the most challenging time for me. In a third and final slide shared on her Instagram page, Jessie said: "A reminder to myself to slow tf down even though I feel like I'm a [tortoise emoji] pace right now. "This isn't a speedy recovery", she urged her fans, "and it isn't meant to be." Advertisement 6 BREAST CANCER DIAGNOSIS At the start of June, Jessie revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and would soon undergo surgery. She opened up about the sad news on Instagram in video she uploaded. In the post Jessie bravely told fans: "I was diagnosed with early breast cancer." Advertisement She added: "Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word 'early'." The singer then said she would be undergoing surgery after performing at the Summertime Ball. Then, while performing at the Summertime Ball in June, she spoke about wanting to beat breast cancer. "Talking of no secrets, you'll know I've always been an open book," she said while on stage.
