In the video he says: "I'm Nick Chicane and welcome to the video that I thought I would never have to make.
"This is my right to reply to all the comments online about the new Calvin Harris single Blessings' similarity to my 30-year old Offshore.
"I am defending my copyright and intellectual property here guys - I'd like to know what your comments are here guys."
Harris then posted an eight-minute-long video in response to the claims, which he captioned: "Response to the people calling me a plagiarist over the last couple of days after that guys video, all the best."

The video showed him playing the two singles alongside each other to see which parts sounded the same.
He can be heard laughing and calling Bracegirdle a "stupid b****rd".
"It's not the same as you hearing that on the radio and thinking 'ah, that reminds me of that Offshore tune' - you've not heard Offshore in about f***ing 20 years and you know it.
"I'll keep playing it until you f***ing realise," he added.

"This guy's gone, 'this guy's a thief, plain and simple, this guy's ripped off my intellectual property'.
"One, you didn't invent the guitar. Two, it's not the same, it's not the f***ing same."
Another DJ, Sam Sax, remixed Harris's rant into its own song, which has since gone viral on social media.
Hundreds of videos have used the sound, gaining tens of thousands of likes.
Sharing the audio, one TikTok user said: "Two djs arguing over who stole whos idea for their summer hit is the funniest thing to happen this year".
Another said: "A Calvin Harris rant becoming Scotland's song of the summer was not on my 2025 bingo card".
Harris responded to the remix: "Hhahahahah".

Creators on TikTok can make money through TikTok's creator fund if they have over 10,000 followers, and she had over 500k. TikTok bosses say: "The funds that each creator can earn are worked out by a combination of factors - including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement on the content, as well as making sure content is in line with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. No two creators or videos are the same, and there is no limit to the different kinds of content we will support with the fund. UK Teen Mum Statistics Teen pregnancies in the UK have been decreasing considerably since 2007... The under-18 conception rate has decreased considerably since 2007, reports Nuffield Trust. The clip went viral on her TikTok account @padilla_twin.teenfamily with over 3 million views and while many judged the mum's teen pregnancy, others were quick to support her. "No, just no, absolutely not! 16? Hell nahh," penned one. Meanwhile another said: "Support teen mums, not teen pregnancy. She's doing well considering she had twins at 16." "I was a teen mum too. You are doing an amazing job. Your husband and babies are very blessed to have you,' claimed a third. Someone else added: "I'm so blessed that I still get the freedom to play Roblox and Fortnite at the big age of 18 instead."

Francine added: "Me and Warren were a bit like Rachel and Ross, will they, won't they? "But we never did. We had the odd kiss, that was it. Then I met Joel." Francine and Katie eventually became friends through their partners, and Katie apprently love Francine's impressions of her. She previously said: "At the time, she loved it, she used to make me ring her brother and mum. In fact, when she was on I'm A Celeb she was talking about me doing it.
