The main feature of the land will be a water-based attraction, that appears to be a log flume, that drops from the film's iconic Pride Rock.
Pride Rock will tower 37 metres into the sky, acting as a "gateway" to an "adventure-filled water attraction", according to Disneyland Paris News, that appears to be a log flume that descends from 16 metres.
The ride will allow guests to follow Simba on his journey from cubhood to king, similar to the film's story, which will also celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.
And inside Pride Rock, guests will be able to explore a number of caves featuring iconic scenes and songs from the 1994 animated movie, reports The Daily Mail.
The main building, which will also be in Pride Rock, will sprawl across 13,755 square metres, making it the biggest show building at the resort.
In addition to the main ride, the land will have an outdoor character meet-and-greet area so fans can snap a picture with Simba, Pumbaa and Timon, alongside other characters from the film.
Blueprints circulating on several blogs and social media reveal that the land will span across 30,000 square metres, with paths made of patterned concrete, rock sculptures and sloped plant beds to evoke the savanna.
According to Disneyland Paris News, the area will also feature audio-animatronic technology - robots with sound to create lifelike, moving characters.
The land will be the park's first-ever immersive area dedicated to the movie, with construction rumoured to begin in autumn of this year.

And in relation to the rest of the park, it will be located next to the Avengers Campus, with its main entrance on Adventure Bay.
Michel Den Dulk, portfolio creative director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, said: "Our goal as Imagineers is to translate the emotional core of the film into this exciting project and have you relive that feeling all over again as you experience this unique attraction," reports Disneyland Paris News.
Natacha Rafalski, présidente of Disneyland Paris added: "This new area, which is inspired by the unforgettable story that has enchanted several generations of viewers, exists nowhere else in the world.
"It will make it possible for guests of all ages to make one of their wildest dreams come true: exploring the Pride Lands alongside all their favorite characters."

This isn't the only new land set for the theme park, as Disneyland Paris is also opening The World of Frozen next year.
Guests will be able to meet iconic characters from the film, such as Olaf, Elsa and Anna, in the Kingdom of Arendelle.
There will also be themed dining experiences and shops, as well as a new nighttime water show with lights and fireworks, on Adventure Bay's central lake.
Construction has already started on The World of Frozen, which includes Elsa's palace on the North Mountain.
There is also a real-life town that Disneyland Paris built – with Italian-copycat homes and no rubbish on the streets.
Plus, one woman went behind the scenes of Disneyland Paris' huge park expansion.

Amanda Knox ‘trying to make money from Disney drama', say Meredith Kercher's family

The family of Meredith Kercher have accused Amanda Knox of trying to make money from a new Disney drama about the British student's murder. Speaking through their lawyer, Kercher's family accused Ms Knox of attempting to keep herself in the limelight, nearly 20 years after the British undergraduate was stabbed to death in the hilltop town of Perugia in Umbria. 'Amanda Knox clearly wants this case to continue,' Francesco Maresca, the family's longstanding lawyer, told The Telegraph. He strongly criticised Ms Knox's involvement in the new drama, The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox. The family would not object to an impartial documentary about the case but instead will have to endure an 'undignified' and sensationalised portrayal of the case, Mr Maresca said. 'Once again, we have to witness an attempt to reshuffle the cards, where the trailer states 'Amanda fights tirelessly to prove her innocence and regain her freedom'. Once again, the focus is on Knox.' Asked if the Kercher family feel that Ms Knox is continually trying to profit from the high-profile case with books, podcasts and television productions, Mr Maresca replied: 'Yes.' He said he was in regular contact with Kercher's siblings – her sister Stephanie and her brothers, Lyle and John. Their mother and father both passed away in recent years. Kercher, from Coulsdon in Surrey, was at the start of a year studying abroad when she was murdered in Perugia in November 2007. The Leeds University student was found in the bedroom of the rented house that she shared with Ms Knox, partially undressed and with multiple stab wounds. Ms Knox was accused of repeatedly stabbing her flatmate during a sex game gone wrong. Ms Knox and her Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito spent four years in jail after they were initially convicted of the murder, which garnered huge attention on both sides of the Atlantic. They were acquitted in 2011, only to be convicted again in 2014 by an appeals court in Florence. But those convictions were in turn overturned by Italy's supreme court in 2015, in a definitive ruling that closed the case. The only person definitively convicted for the murder was Rudy Guede, an Ivory Coast born drifter who lived in Perugia at the time. He was released from prison in November 2021 after serving 13 years of a 16-year sentence. He has also been accused of sexually assaulting a former girlfriend, a woman in her twenties, and was last month told by a judge that he will be sent to trial, with the first hearing to be held in November. The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, available on the streaming service Hulu in the US and Disney+ globally, re-enacts the murder and the accusations against Ms Knox, who was 20 at the time and had only been in Italy a few weeks. Italian prosecutors claimed that Kercher was stabbed to death in a frenzy after a sex game that went horribly awry. Ms Knox's lawyers said that was a fantasy with no basis in fact and that the sole person responsible for the killing was Guede. The eight-episode series, in which Ms Knox is played by the actress Grace Van Patten, is produced by Ms Knox in collaboration with Monica Lewinsky, who was demonised for her affair with Bill Clinton, the then president, in the 1990s. It has had mixed reviews in Italy. La Repubblica, an Italian newspaper, wrote that Kercher 'risks being the forgotten victim' because of the overwhelming focus on Ms Knox's ordeal. Italian prosecutors and police 'don't come out well from the series', the paper added. Corriere della Sera, another Italian newspaper, recalled how Ms Knox was subjected to an hours-long interrogation in a language she barely understood, by officers who allegedly cuffed her around the head. There was some sympathy expressed for how the American and Mr Sollecito became mired in a years-long legal process, a common occurrence in Italy's court system. Van Patten said the series is a chance for Ms Knox, who is now 38 and a mother of two, to 'reclaim her story and tell her side of the story'. 'Most people did just read the headlines of her being this sex-crazed young girl, murderous, villainous, which couldn't be further from who she is,' she said. Ms Knox has been contacted for comment.

Emily Atack shares behind-the-scenes secrets of her eye-popping naked scenes in Rivals as actress admits she 'is completely like' her character

Emily Atack has revealed exactly how she braved stripping off for the cameras for acclaimed raunchy drama Rivals as she shared behind-the-scenes details on Wednesday. The actress, 35, left little to the imagination when she stepped into the role of Sarah Stratton for the Disney series, which is based on Dame Jilly Cooper's best-selling novel of the same name. Viewers watched as Emily stripped completely naked for a daring game of tennis, before attempting to hide her modesty after being caught. While the eye-popping scenes left fans stunned, Atack has revealed it was easy to play the liberated character as she declared: 'I am her.' Speaking at this year's Edinburgh TV Festival, Emily confessed: 'I've been typecast my whole life, and I've loved every single minute of it. I will carry on playing sexy women for as long as they will have me.' She continued: 'I just wasn't afraid to identify with her. I completely am her. I'm a very flawed woman. I've made terrible decisions in my love life. 'I used all of that completely. It was completely genuine. 'Finally, these so-called demonized women, they're not being celebrated for that behaviour but they're being understood better.' Rivals saw her character married to fictional MP Paul Stratton, though she embarks on a lustuous affair with heartthrob Rupert Campbell-Black, who is played by Alex Hassell. While Alex, 44, decided not to use a prosthetic penis for the sexy scenes with Emily, as he said author Jilly, 88, made Rupert so well endowed that 'he could bat bread rolls across the room'. However, Emily admitted she did take up the wardrobe department's offer of assistance in preparing for the shoot. She said: 'I had a stick-on muff. I had to have a merkin, that's what it is called. I had all these fittings for this merkin. It had to be like a proper eighties bush. 'That kind of helped [doing the nude scene] because it felt like I had big furry knickers on. 'At first it was really jarring seeing myself naked on scene. But then sort of once I'd seen it, I was like "oh fine". I couldn't put my clothes back on. I was running around that tennis court. They were like: 'Emily, can you put your clothes on now?'' Alex Hassell (pictured) who plays Rupert, decided not to use a prosthetic penis for the sexy scenes with Emily, as he said author Jilly, 88, made Rupert so well endowed that 'he could bat bread rolls across the room' Emily has had a rollercoaster love life with exes including singer Harry Styles, and models Jude Taylor and Jack Vacher. She has now settled down with nuclear scientist Dr Alistair Garner and the pair welcomed their first child, son Barney, in June last year. Filming for the second instalment of Rivals began in May, with the cast all reprising their roles for the next batch of episodes alongside new faces. Streaming giant Disney revealed on Wednesday that actors Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett have signed up to the show. They will be starring as Helen Gordon, Rupert Campbell-Black's ex-wife, and show-jumping coach Malise Gordon. Also joining the ensemble are Maxim Ays, Holly Cattle, Oliver Dench, Amanda Lawrence, Bobby Lockwood, Eliot Salt and Jonny Weldon. Meanwhile, Danny Dyer revealed there is so much bonking in the second series that bosses had to hire every intimacy coordinator in the UK. In the show, Danny played self-made businessman Freddie Jones who goes into business with Rupert and Declan O'Hara played by Aidan Turner.

Bikini-clad Britney Spears dances to ex Justin Timberlake's song on vacation after sparking fan concern

Britney Spears showed some support for her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake while on vacation Wednesday - three weeks after he announced his Lyme disease diagnosis. The 43-year-old Grammy winner stripped down to a green-and-yellow string bikini while dancing aboard a boat to Manon Dave's remix of Timbaland's song Carry Out featuring the 44-year-old pop star. The glitchy hip-hop track reached No. 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 back in 2009. Britney and Justin - who dated between 2000-2003 - originally met as children starring as Mouseketeers on The Disney Channel's The Mickey Mouse Club from 1993-1994. In Spears' 2023 memoir The Woman In Me, she revealed that Timberlake urged her to have an abortion when they unexpectedly became pregnant. 'It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated,' the semi-retired pop star wrote. 'But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn't want to be a father. To this day, [the abortion was] one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.' The 10-time Grammy winner received substantial backlash online about his low-effort performances on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, and he pled guilty to driving while impaired on September 13 stemming from his 2024 arrest. In the same Instagram video, Britney introduced her 157.2M social media following to 'the realest man out here in this water' while affecting a British accent. 'We went snorkeling all day yesterday in water,' Spears, looking a tad sunburned, continued. 'This is like, um, Turks and Caicos [Islands]!' The Hold Me Closer hitmaker posted a second video of herself on the shoreline beside a mystery man and she's heard saying, 'Guys look, it gonna bite me!' before cheerfully thanking someone off camera. Britney was wearing a pink Joanne-style boater hat and she drew attention to her floral choker, which is a piece from her upcoming jewelry brand, B. Tiny. On Monday, Spears sparked concern by posting a video of herself fiddling with the usually off-camera ring light and bizarrely vocalizing in the messy living room of her $10M Thousand Oaks mansion. 'I would say, Julia Roberts singing Prince's Kiss off key a touch, but I sounded really good behind the lens LOL!' the Mississippi-born singer defended hours later. 'PSS Wise a**es, I do know who I am! I have eight different languages written on my neck. These are my PJs, but I put these boots on to play with lighting - not the most elegant look, but hey!' Britney is said to be hands on with her fully-authorized biopic for Universal Pictures, which will be helmed by Wicked director Jon M. Chu. Spears' second ex-husband Kevin Federline recently announced that Listenin will publish his 228-page memoir You Thought You Knew - co-written by Alex Holstein and Jaren Hayman - on October 21, which is about being a 'devoted father fighting for his children.' The former Mouseketeer's third ex-husband Sam Asghari joked to TMZ last Friday: 'Well, he was a professional father so he would be a great... it would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father.' Last November, Britney made her final $20K child support payment to her 47-year-old former back-up dancer, whom she was only married to for two years before their 2007 divorce. Kevin amassed $5M in support payments during the 17 years he had primary custody of their sons Jayden and Sean, who celebrate their 19th and 20th birthdays next month. Federline has claimed he was 'not involved' in Spears' 13-year conservatorship (which ended in 2021) despite her former manager Larry Rudolph reportedly describing him as a 'necessary party' to the 2008 intervention after her meltdown over their custody arrangement. Most conservatees are deemed 'gravely disabled' by the court and unable to meet their basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter - while Britney was put to work recording four studio albums, a judging gig on The X Factor, and a grueling two-year Las Vegas residency.
