As JoJo, who turns 22 today, made her way off stage, the audience in Mexico City could be heard screaming and cheering.
Chris was then captured in a backstage video as he waited at the bottom of the stage steps "for his girl".
The footage, which was shared on social media, was captioned: "Sweet Christopher waiting for his girl."
"It's giving Travis and Taylor!" said one fan, comparing JoJo and Chris to Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Another added: "Argh he was waiting for her. That's just the cutest."
JoJo and Chris's highly-anticipated reunion in Mexico comes after they have spent three weeks apart from each other.
The pair, who are at the centre of romance rumours following their CBB stint, have since been looking very cosy together.
Posting on Snapchat about meeting his "soulmate" again, Chris said: "Finally reunited."
Chris and JoJo were also photographed lying together on a sofa, as JoJo placed her hand on Chris's heart.
JoJo Siwa tells story about time with Chris Hughes in CBB

It's the first time they've seen each other since JoJo travelled back to America following their stint together in the CBB house.
JoJo called herself a "very happy girl" ahead of her gig in Mexico after a two-hour flight.
After her concert on Sunday night, JoJo shared a selection of pictures with fans on Instagram.

JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs' relationship
We look back at JoJo Siwa's romance with Kath Ebbs:
JoJo Siwa went public with hers and Kath Ebbs' relationship in January 2025.
The Dance Moms star had been introduced to 27-year-old Australian content creator Kath by a mutual friend called G-Flip six months earlier.
JoJo had split with her girlfriend Dakayla Wilson in November 2024 and it is believed she hooked up romantically with Kath soon after.
Speaking in March at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, JoJo said of her relationship: 'I am so happy. I am in a very mature relationship, and it's beautiful. It's taught me so much about life.
'It's taught me so much about love and respect, and it's a beautiful thing.
'It's different in more ways than I can count. I wouldn't even know what to say the biggest is 'cause just everything is so different and special.'
Kath even claimed they had talked about marriage together.
However, JoJo's romance with Kath abruptly hit the skids on April 25, 2025, at the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party.
JoJo dumped Kath at the bash after spending 19 days in the CBB house - where she had grown close to Love Island star Chris Hughes.
JoJo posted lots of pictures of herself on stage but also a fun snap of herself and Chris once the gig was over.
The blurry shot shows JoJo, still in her costume, grinning wildly while lifting Chris up into her arms.
Chris, meanwhile, is also smiling and is wearing a pair of bright green sunglasses.
Commenting, one follower gushed: "I adore you and Chris together!!
"The fact he flew all the way to Mexico to see you for a couple of days, knowing you'll be coming to the UK soon anyway, says SO much!!"
JoJo and Chris spent 19 days together in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April.
Kath Ebbs, 27, revealed they had been ditched by the US TV star and said they were in "complete shock" and felt "numbed out and humiliated" by it.
JoJo flew home to the US just days after the CBB final but has made no secret of how much she has missed Chris.

Fearne Cotton's ex husband Jesse Wood looks loved-up with Made in Chelsea's Gemma Gregory as she shares cosy snaps after going public with new romance
Fearne Cotton 's estranged husband Jesse Wood looked loved-up with his new girlfriend Gemma Gregory as he shared a series of photos on Friday. The musician, 48, revealed his romance with the former Made in Chelsea star, 39, is hotting up - two months after going public. Gemma posted several loved-up pictures to Instagram, showing her and Jesse cuddling and joking around together - including one in a sunny country field. The London-born actress and former model captioned the post: 'Love if the frequency of magic, followed by star and red heart emojis. One friend commented, 'Gem you look so happy, glad you found a person who makes you happy.' Another said, 'You look so happy.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Insiders say the relationship is progressing quickly - and it looks to be far more than a casual rebound following the shock collapse of Jesse's decade-long marriage to TV presenter Fearne last December. 'It's getting serious now. Jesse and Gemma are spending loads of time together and things are clearly going well,' a source close to the pair told MailOnline. 'He's been through a rough patch emotionally, but Gemma's really lifted him. They've got chemistry and a lot in common - she makes him laugh, and he feels relaxed around her. It's definitely more than a fling.' The couple first went public in April when Gemma posted a sunny snap of Jesse hugging her tightly with the caption: 'Bloody love this one'. It came just weeks after photos of Fearne kissing her new boyfriend, TV director Elliot Hegarty, emerged. Fearne, 43, addressed her split from Jesse for the first time on Lorraine earlier this year, calling the situation 'very amicable' and saying the children - son Rex, 11, and daughter Honey, 8 - were 'doing great'. She also spoke candidly about her health struggles, revealing that she had undergone surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jaw last year. Jesse, meanwhile, has remained tight-lipped publicly, though his stepmother Jo Wood - ex-wife of his father Ronnie Wood - has spoken about the split. 'I was shocked, actually. I didn't expect Fearne to have a new boyfriend. And Jesse was devastated,' she told the Mail earlier this year. 'But sometimes in life, you have to go through these things… I'm sure Jesse's going to be very happy. These things work out. Their time was up - they had to move on.' She also said she looked forward to meeting Gemma, describing the relationship at the time as 'all very new'. Gemma, who has a son, Benji, from a previous relationship, is no stranger to the spotlight. She played young Estella in the 1999 adaptation of Great Expectations, and briefly appeared in Made in Chelsea in 2012 thanks to her long-time friendship with Hugo Taylor. She's also previously been romantically linked to aristocrat Nicholas Knatchbull - the godson of Prince Charles - and England polo captain Henry Brett. Despite her Chelsea connections and glamorous past, Gemma has kept a relatively low profile in recent years - though friends say she's now 'glowing' with happiness. Meanwhile, Fearne appears to be embracing her own new chapter, saying in a recent interview that she feels the happiest she's been in years and wants to focus on 'having fun' in her forties. Speaking to BBC Radio 2's Scott Mills, she said: 'I'm really happy… I'm springing out of bed in the morning ready for life.'

EXCLUSIVE Why nepo babies are dropping their 'imprisoning' last names
What's in a name? Well, for the children of celebrity parents, a famous last name can open doors to a world of opportunity. 'Nepo', short for 'nepotism,' babies are the offspring of celebrities or influential individuals who've gained career advantages due to their parents' notoriety – whether it's in the entertainment industry, professional sports, business or modeling. But these nepo babies have received widespread backlash in recent years, with critics pointing out how their privilege has given them opportunities that someone of a lesser socioeconomic status might be more deserving of. Whether it's to break free from the criticism, or from their own parents entirely, a select few of these celebrity children are dropping their famous last names in an effort to carve out a career for themselves. Most recently, Malia Obama – the eldest daughter of former US president Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama – dropped her last name when she premiered her short film at Sundance Film Festival in 2024. The 26-year-old was instead listed as 'Malia Ann' – opting to use her middle name – in the credits of her movie, The Heart, which she made with megastar Donald Glover. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh Jolie debuted her new name during a rare public appearance in Los Angeles last week. The 19-year-old was simply introduced as 'Shi' as she unveiled her choreographed dance routine at an Isabel Marant fashion event. The name change comes one year after she legally dropped Pitt from her last name - she officially filed the petition on her 18th birthday. However, this so-called trend of nepo babies ditching their famous surnames isn't new. When actor Nicholas Cage (born Nicolas Coppola) changed his name early in his career so as not to be as easily associated with his director uncle, Francis Ford Coppola, he was able to fly somewhat under the radar - there was no social media to remind everyone who his relatives are. Louisa Jacobson, The Gilded Age star and youngest daughter of Oscar winner Meryl Streep and sculptor Don Gummer, goes by her middle name to avoid confusion with another actress named Louisa Gummer. Even Shiloh's own mother changed her name from Angelina Voight – the last name of her controversy-ridden father, actor Jon Voight – and legally adopted the surname 'Jolie' in 2002. Undoubtedly, these celebrity children of the past still managed to chart their own successful paths, despite adopting a new moniker. But according to brand strategist Rachael Kay Albers, when it comes to celebrity children like Malia and Shiloh – whose personal lives have been in the spotlight since their early adolescence – it's far more difficult to shed their former self. 'Nepo babies are changing their names for two main reasons: they want to stand on their own two feet – artistically, career-wise – or they want to live a quiet life and they don't want to be in the limelight,' Albers told the Daily Mail. 'What's unique about Malia and Shiloh is this generational difference,' she explained. 'The coverage surrounding these kids has changed so dramatically, and with the internet and the constant access to celebrity kids, it means when we look back at the celebrity children of Boomers compared to Gen Z or Gen Alpha kids, we're watching it happen in real time.' Former first lady Michelle Obama recently broke her silence on her eldest daughter's name change, revealing on her Sibling Revelry podcast that her daughters Malia and Sasha started 'pushing away' from her and her husband as teens. The mother of two said she believes her daughters distanced themselves because they wanted to 'distinguish themselves' from their famous parents. 'They're still doing that, and you guys know this of children with parents who are known,' Obama said. 'It's very important for my kids to feel like they've earned what they are getting in the world.' Albers agreed that the increasing trend is in an effort to transform their identity away from how they've been perceived by the world their whole lives. 'I think what we're observing here with this new breed of celebrity kids is when they go out there and change their name, it's not because they want to lose the connection to their parents,' she said. 'It's more that we're actively watching this person reshape their identity in public.' This 'rebrand', as Albers calls it, can be hard when your life is constantly being publicized and dissected by the media. In Shiloh's case, she's sharing the spotlight with her parents' bitter divorce battle. Exes Jolie and Brad Pitt officially finalized their messy divorce in December 2024, eight years after the actress filed for a dissolution of marriage in September 2016. Since then, the private details surrounding their split have been made public, including abuse accusations against Pitt stemming from an incident on a private jet, in which all six of their children were present. Pitt has continued to deny the claims of abuse and was cleared by law enforcement following an investigation. Pitt remains largely estranged from his children in the wake of the divorce, and Shiloh wasn't the only one to change her name - both Zahara, 20, and Vivienne, 16, have publicly or professionally dropped Pitt's last name. Pitt and Jolie's daughter Zahara, 20, introduced herself as 'Zahara Jolie' during a sorority event at Spelman College last year 'When we entangle our names with our livelihoods, all is well and good if you build a following and grow a career with that name,' Albers said. 'But if you are transforming, if your family is transforming, suddenly now you're really imprisoned by your name and its associations with your family and all of the press.' Much like a real-life company rebrand, such as Dunkin' Donuts now going by Dunkin' or the infamous change from Twitter to X, the decision to rebrand yourself isn't always accepted by the general public. 'Any time a brand changes its name and changes its logo or slogan, the brand is betting on the idea that the audience is gonna go along with it. But sometimes there's backlash,' Albers said. Indeed, the decision to publicly distance yourself from the same family that got you where you are today should be regarded with some courage. But the real challenge will be whether the masses choose to accept you by this altered identity. Albers said, after all, 'They'll never forget you're Malia Obama.'
