Yulong chases quick return on Grinzinger Belle investment in Group 1 Tattersall's Tiara at Eagle Farm
Chinese billionaire Yuesheng Zhang, owner of breeding and racing giant Yulong, paid $1.45m for the bold frontrunning mare and multiple Group 2 winner last month at the Inglis Chairman's Sale.
Grinzinger Belle, trained by Danny O'Brien, is an $11 chance in pre-nominations Tatt's Tiara markets.
O'Brien's racing manager Jack Howard said Grinzinger Belle had progressed as planned to target the 1400m Eagle Farm feature with fresh legs – 10 weeks between runs.
'Her fresh record is pretty good and that trip, hopefully we get a result for Yulong,' Howard said.
'She probably deserves a good race.
'We always had a plan to head up there with her, obviously John (Wheeler) sold her and Yulong purchased her and we were lucky enough to get her back to train, which we are grateful for.
'Hopefully we can get a result up there for (Yulong) and continue the relationship going forward.'
It's a Sunline Stakes route 🤩

Grinzinger Belle last raced on April 12 in Sydney, finished midfield in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m).
The four-year-old travelled up to Queensland after a sharp Flemington jumpout late last month.
'They really went along, one of Gai's (Waterhouse) won the trial by about five or six, Zac Spain rode (the jump out) and hardly moved and she went through her gears, it was a good test,' Howard said.
Sydney-based Group 1 jockey Tim Clark has been booked to ride Grinzinger Belle on Saturday.

Howard confirmed Brave Design would tackle the Listed Tattersall's Stakes (1400m).
The two-year-old Brave Smash colt won the Listed Oxlade Stakes (1200m) last start at Eagle Farm.
Brave Design, a well-travelled colt who raced in Melbourne and Adelaide before the Sunshine State raid, placed fourth in the Group 2 BRC Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m) two starts back.
Jockey Jordan Childs will again head to Brisbane to pilot Brave Design.
'It's really good, Jordie went to Adelaide and rode him, he's ridden him twice up there and ridden him well,' Howard said.

NRL Round 25 teams: Bulldogs set to welcome back key forward Sitili Tupouniua
Cameron Ciraldo is set to welcome back Sitili Tupouniua for Friday's blockbuster against Melbourne, as the Canterbury coach locked in a key forward signing for 2026. Tupouniua is on track for a timely return against the Storm at AAMI Park after spending the last five weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. The former Roosters backrower has had a disrupted season due to ongoing hamstring issues and suspension, limiting him to just seven games in his first year at Belmore. Canterbury prop Max King confirmed Tupouniua's inclusion this week, ahead of a tough run home for the Bulldogs which also includes clashes against premiers Penrith and Cronulla. 'I think he's back this week, so it's a big help for us,' King said. Canterbury's big men have been out-muscled in recent losses against the Wests Tigers and the Roosters last weekend, again raising questions about Ciraldo's mobile pack lacking size. Tupouniua's injection is a timely antidote, at least in the aggression stakes, given the mongrel that the forward added to the Bulldogs pack when on the field this season. Ciraldo also added some more size to his engine room, extending prop Daniel Suluka-Fifita's time at Belmore. Suluka-Fifita, who is Canterbury's heaviest prop at 112 kilograms, was unsigned beyond 2025 but has agreed to a one-year extension. The 26-year old is also in line to earn a recall from NSW Cup this week to take on Melbourne. Bulldogs general manager of football Phil Gould is hopeful Suluka-Fifita can progress into a regular NRL starter, giving Canterbury a powerhouse presence in the middle. 'Ever since he walked through these doors, he has worked hard on getting back to the level we know he can perform at, and he has shown throughout the season that he is an NRL-quality front rower,' Gould said. 'The coaching staff are certainly looking forward to seeing his progression and we are excited to have him on board for at least another 12 months.' In June, rising Dragons forward Finau Latu made a mid-season switch to Belmore having signed a deal to join the Bulldogs until the end of 2028. The rookie will be joined by Newcastle and Kiwi international Leo Thompson, who was lured from the Knights on a four-year deal from 2026. — Fatima Kdouh TIGERS TO HOLD OFF ON DEBUT FOR TEEN SENSATION — Brent Read Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall is set to resist the urge to call on schoolboy sensation Heamasi Makasini this weekend and instead hand Brent Naden the chance to play in the centres against North Queensland on Sunday afternoon. Marshall is on the lookout for a new centre after a shoulder injury to Starford To'a and there had been talk that he could turn to Makasini, who only turned 18 last month and is still finishing year 12 at Newington College. However, Naden looks set to be recalled instead of the prodigiously-talented Makasini. 'He hasn't been training with us – he's been at school,' Marshall said when asked about Makasini after Sunday's win over Manly. 'He's doing his HSC. The thing is, we're not really in a position where, it's like hey, let's just go and blood some people for next year. 'We want to finish as high as we can …. and we're taking that seriously.
