Go on a permanent holiday with cruise line's offer to make luxury ship your ‘home' – for up to $10m
Crescent Seas, a residential cruise line formed in March, was founded by Russell Galbut, former chairman of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
The luxury cruise company said its ships are designed for those who 'seek adventure and discovery' to 'explore the world without leaving the comforts of home'.
Crescent Seas plans to sail a fleet of five residential ships, with three confirmed so far – Navigator, Insignia and The Ocean.
Regent Seven Seas ship Navigator has been chartered for a $50 million refit next year, with Oceania Cruises' Insignia set to be ready in 2027.
Purpose-built ship The Ocean is planned for 2032, with two other vessels proposed to join the fleet in 2028 and 2029.
The 210 residences on Navigator will range from $750,000 to $8 million for world sailings starting next December from Port Miami.
Sales opened for residences on the ship on 9 April during the annual Seatrade Cruise Global conference in Miami.
Insignia' s 290 residences will be priced between $650,000 and $10 million.
On board, residents will find Michelin-inspired dining, a state-of-the-art spa, a fitness centre and cooking classes.
Mr Galbut told The Telegraph that residents are expected to buy $32,500 worth of food coupons a year 'to contribute to the operation of the food and beverage on board'.
Co-working spaces with Starlink internet connection, onshore activities and evening entertainment are also available to luxury cruisers, alongside a '6-star service' provided by white glove butlers and the crew.
The line says cruise itineraries will access destinations including Hawaii, Seychelles, Singapore, Iceland and Barcelona, as well as smaller ports, with port stays up to four days long to 'immerse in local culture'.
Mr Galbut, founder and chairman of Crescent Seas, said: 'As a developer, I know real estate has always been defined by location, location, location, as we say. With Crescent Seas, we've eliminated that limitation. Residents will have a view corridor like never before.

The Apollo Group will oversee onboard logistics, Norwegian Cruise Line the technical management of ship operations and interior designs by MAWD, Lissoni & Partners and Journey design firm.

It comes after a warning to Brit tourists planning all-inclusive holidays to Spain. The itinerary includes Egypt, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, as well as European hotspots including the shores of Greece and Italy, as well as medieval cities in Croatia and Spain's Costa del Sol. The itinerary also features overnight stays in locations including Cairns, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai, Luxor and Bordeaux. The cruise company, a subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise Line, said guests will have access to 'the most spacious standard staterooms at sea', which are 291 square feet, complete with verandas. The ship accommodates 1,200 passengers but comes with a steep price tag. Tickets start at £44,039 (promotional price) for a French Veranda room to £156,439 (brochure price) for an Owner's Suite. Unlimited beer, wine and spirits are included as part of the trip or passengers can opt for a shore excursion credit instead. Exclusive shoreside events are also included, as well as free luggage delivery and a visa package. The voyage will take place aboard the Oceania Vista, which features 11 dining venues, including the Polo Grill Steakhouse, the pan-Asian Red Ginger and the French restaurant, Jacques. Oceania will also offer immersive Culinary Discovery Tours ashore and hands-on cooking classes in the ship's Culinary Centre. There will also be onboard enrichment in the form of art classes and guest lectures. This Kangaroo Route is the newest addition to Oceania Cruises 2027 Around The World cruise portfolio. Oceania Cruises has unveiled its plans for a new 2027 sailing, calling at ports across the globe from Sydney to London on a 129-day around-the-world voyage. The cruise line announced on Wednesday that it will be launching the 'Kangaroo Route' sailing, which will visit more than 80 ports across 34 countries and four continents aboard its Oceania Vista ship. Passengers who book on this voyage can expect overnight stops in cities such as Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore and Mumbai. The sailing will depart on 26 February 2027 from Sydney, Australia, for a four-and-a-half-month journey across the world. After navigating along Australia's coastlines, two months of the sailing will be spent in Asia. The cruise will then continue to the Middle East with stops in places such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha. The 1,200-guest ship will then cross the seas to Egypt, before sailing on to Mediterranean countries such as Greece and Italy, the French Riviera and Spain's Costa del Sol. After months of exploring different landscapes, cultures and cuisine, the journey will eventually conclude in London on 5 July.
