Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa confirm 'relationship' status as CBB stars speak out
Eager Celebrity Big Brother fans have been waiting to find out if there is a romantic spark between Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa following their exit from the show.
Now, the pair of reality TV stars have finally spoken about their 'really strong bond' – but is it solely platonic?
Speaking to This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, JoJo revealed: 'Obviously we're close, obviously we're tight.'
While Chris added: 'The thing is, our friendship is like, it's just a really strong bond between two people, it's just a strong friendship.
'I think you can have a soulmate friendship, I think that's a thing and to me it's like that energy where it's not like the standard friendship you have with your friends but it's still a friendship, we are friends and it's just nice and that's why I found the whole… I found it strange because it's such a strong friendship.
'But having someone in there to go through an experience like that and have someone there every day when you're emotional when you're down, when you're happy, that is beautiful, that is a genuinely amazing thing.'
When JoJo was asked if she wanted to have a 'romantic' relationship with Chris instead of a 'platonic' one, she told Ben: 'Look, he is a great guy, it is platonic, we have a lot of fun together, life is life and I don't know any future of anything.
'But I'm really grateful for the dynamic that we have and our bond that we have and whatever life does life will do.'

Also on the interview on Monday morning (April 28), ITV presenter Cat praised JoJo for always being 'open and honest' while in the public eye.
She then asked the popular TikTok star for the 'truth' about all the 'reports' over the weekend regarding her personal life.
JoJo shared: 'Honestly when I went into the house, day one fun, day two fun, well day two wasn't actually that fun but then honestly day three I was in my own thoughts, away from everyone that I know, away from everything, and I sat with myself and from that point on I really realised things that I was okay with in my life, that I should have never been okay with in the first place.'
Cat interrupted: 'Do you mean your relationship?'
JoJo continued: 'So many things, that was one of them, but so many things.
'Obviously I wanted to hold them inside because I didn't want to air that out very publicly but there were countless things that I was like 'that's not something I was okay with and I don't need to be okay with and I'm not happy' and I knew as soon as I got out I wanted to fix things in my life and make the changes I need to make.
'I think you have this experience that's so exhilarated, it's 20 days but it feels like it's four and a half years and the first thing you want to do when you get out is just exactly what you need to do in your life to make it as great as you can.'

The former Dance Moms contestant added: 'I think I realised just how not great things were and that I was pretending they were great and it's been hard but it's been good, I'm very happy where I am now, I'm very grateful that I had you [Chris] in there for support even though you didn't know what was going on in my brain.'
JoJo then confirmed a conversation with her now ex-partner Kath Ebbs took place at the CBB wrap party which ended their relationship, but that 'wasn't the plan' as their ex originally declined to attend the event.
She added: 'They straight up asked me if I was happy and I said 'no' and one thing led to another and that conversation did take place there.'

Rick Astley's No. 1 hit has a billion Spotify streams, 38 years after its release: It's 'something I never dreamed of'
Rick Astley was just 21 years old when he recorded his 1987 hit, 'Never Gonna Give You Up.' It spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and charted for 24 more weeks. At age 27, he retired from recording music, with no clue that his song would see a resurgence among millennials and Gen Zers decades later. Astley's song joined Spotify's "Billions Club" on Monday, surpassing 1 billion streams on the platform. "I never could have imagined back in 1987 that 'Never Gonna Give You Up' would still be going strong decades later," Astley, 59, said in a statement, according to USA Today. "Thanks to streaming platforms, a whole new generation has been able to discover music like mine. Reaching 1 billion streams is something I never dreamed of and to everyone who's ever listened, thank you." Astley's retirement wasn't permanent: He released a studio album in 2005, and has released three more since 2016. But his song's modern popularity is more due to "Rickrolling," an online bait-and-switch prank where someone is tricked into watching the song's music video through a misleading first learned about Rickrolling in 2007, when his friend emailed him a YouTube link that brought him to his own music video, he told Vice in 2022. Today, the music video has at least 1.6 billion views on YouTube, and "Never Gonna Give You Up" has stayed relevant enough to be certified five-times platinum in the U.S. It's unclear exactly how much money Astley has received from the online phenomenon, with streaming services, distributors and music labels rarely publishing exact payout rates. The singer himself may not care: "I've never even tried to find out what was actually made from the YouTube hits. I've never really thought about it," he wrote on Reddit in October 2016. Astley was already financially comfortable when he retired at 27, he told ITV's "This Morning" on October 28. More recently, he was paid "a chunk of money" to sing "Never Gonna Give You Up" at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2008, and in a 2015 Virgin Mobile commercial, he wrote on Reddit. "I have been paid well twice, for rickrolling," Astley wrote. Astley's early retirement was prompted by burnout, he told ITV. He felt so consumed by the business of music that he rarely enjoyed the feeling of being a musician, he said. "I was going to America to do a big TV show in New York, and I developed a fear of flying," said Astley. "I didn't want to get on planes anymore, which is hard to be an international pop star if you won't fly." His music-making hiatus gave him a relative degree of off-stage anonymity that he's since embraced, he told Vice. "I've done way more gigging in the last 15 years than I did when I was famous. I'm a lot happier than when I was having my hits," said Astley. "It's kind of perfect because, even though I've just sung for 10,000 people, and they've sung most of the words back to me … when I go to the bar, one person might recognize me. Sometimes none — it's amazing."

A night at New York's biggest Switch 2 launch event
I'm standing outside the GameStop at Union Square in New York City on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, with plenty of cars rolling by and people basking in the late spring sun. On the corner of E 14th Street and University Place, a line has formed around the block. Tonight is the official launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, a console people have been waiting for years to arrive. Some publications and influencers received theirs one day early, but for the rest of the world, tonight is the first opportunity to play it. And for a lot of the people in this line, that means they're willing to wait a little longer. By 7PM I've talked to plenty of people queued up, and the overwhelming sentiment is that everyone is excited for Mario Kart World. 'It's been forever since the last one,' Kyle and Andrea tell me. 'It only makes sense to get it now. Might as well.' The last version, Mario Kart 8, first launched in 2014 for the Wii U, eventually becoming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when it launched on the Nintendo Switch. Mario Kart World is the first truly new console edition in a decade, and fans are eager to start playing. Chris has been waiting in line for about four hours and brought his own chair. He tells me that his friends have been working all day, so he's trying to hold them a spot. 'These are crazy hard to get. I don't have a lot to do today, so I'm gonna see if I can save a spot in line for them.' Finally, I find one fan who tells me he's excited for the Switch 2 because of its power. 'I had the Switch and then the Switch OLED, and I'm honestly pretty stoked to run this thing at 4k 60fps. It's a huge jump,' Anthony tells me. Inside the store, staff has been working since 11AM, pre-processing customers to make tonight's launch go smoothly. They take four people at a time from the line outside, check them out with consoles and accessories, and hand them a ticket with a number to come back and claim later. There are still a few hours to go, so most people are walking down the street to grab dinner or drinks. To tide over patient customers, GameStop has set up various stations. There's a body painter giving people Nintendo-themed paint-jobs, a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate set up, and, of course, Mario Kart. Kids flank the stations while their parents check out, and the store even lined up a DJ to keep people entertained. GameStop has completely outfitted the store with Mario -themed ornaments. There are full-sized cardboard cutouts of various characters spread throughout, and a map of Mario Kart World embedded into the floor. It's clear the retailer knew this would be a massive launch, and it decked out the store to help fans celebrate. Around 9PM, Doug Bowser, the CEO of Nintendo of America, makes a surprise appearance. Bowser talks to customers and recites a likely pre-scripted conversation with GameStop staff on camera which will probably appear in a LinkedIn post, then moves to the mural on the wall for a photo with employees. I asked Bowser what he was most excited for, and he blasts off a quick speech about Mario Kart. It's expected at this point — a theme of the night. People start merging back into the line at 11PM, now stretching down the block and around the corner. Earlier in the night, GamStop employees handed out raffle tickets for free games, and they start calling numbers for the winners. If you won, you were graced with a copy of Splatoon 3, a game not currently updated to take advantage of the Switch 2's superior hardware. At 11:55PM I head inside, alongside the first few customers awaiting the midnight release. Dawn is the first to receive his Switch 2 after waiting outside this GameStop since 4:17AM. 'I can't really believe I've been waiting this long, but it was worth it.' Everyone cheers and the line starts flowing faster. Crowds of people who didn't pre-pay for the console continue to show up and get in line. They'll probably be here until morning. I left the store about 30 minutes after release, wondering how many instances of anecdotal evidence it would take to make the console a success. But if this store is anything to go by, the Nintendo Switch 2 is already a hit.

Scottish Love Island star Laura Anderson opens up on 'health struggle' on holiday
Scottish Love Island star Laura Anderson has opened up on her health struggles while enjoying a holiday with her footballer boyfriend. The 36-year-old has shared moments from their break in the Maldives at the luxury Kandima beach resort. Taking to Instagram, the mum has spoken up about her battle with melasma, a common skin condition in adults which can cause darkening of the skin caused by increased melanin, reports The Record. She also asked her followers if they would like treatment recommendations or advice, if anyone may be suffering from a similar skin condition. "Do you suffer from pigmentation/melasma/sun spots?," she asked. "Okay guys I have been in the sun all day, always wear my factor 50 and my hat but I think with melasma you still get affected with just the heat so I always try and keep my face really cool. "That's a tip that I learnt, but I'm going to see Rebecca now but look," she gestured as she pointed her face towards the camera. "I don't know if you can see this all kind of multiplied again come back, this is me completely bare faced." She continued: "You can see it here there's definitely a difference between freckles. I love freckles, love to embrace them, but sun spots, melasma, pigmentation is different and can be quite ageing. "I quite like the little bits on my lips but I just want to remove that and Rebecca has all the best lasers in Dubai," as she gestured to her cheekbones. "She always teaches me things and has new techniques that I've never heard of before which are incredibly effective." The star added: "So we are going to go today with pico, really quick easy. I don't think there's any down time so yeah, let's get rid of this." Elsewhere, Laura took to Instagram last week following her house move in a gushing post over how lucky she is in her new home alongside daughter Bonnie, who she shares with ex Gary Lucy. She also gave a special mention to boyfriend Clark, 31. "Busy and booked, The Man of my dreams and a daughter to die for. I never ever thought I'd have all 3," Laura wrote. She added: "And a huge shout out to @ssremovals for moving my life AGAIN! That Ikea wardrobe will officially never be assembled again I promise." The first clip showed the couple sharing a kiss in the expansive outdoor garden. Another video clip showed Laura holding daughter Bonnie as she stood at the front entrance of her new home with Clark. The home boasts grand floor to ceiling windows offering plenty of natural light, looking out onto the impressive garden. Bonnie even has her own play room, which Laura showed off to fans previously. Bonnie and her dog Buddy will certainly have no lack of space in the new home. The influencer was delighted to update fans that her dog was finally coming home, after being away from them for a few months when he didn't settle in her previous Glasgow flat.
