Ozzy Osbourne top five greatest moments
He met fiancee Kelly Osbourne in 1999, when he appeared with his band Slipknot on a tour with her Ozzy.
Born on October 27 1984, Kelly is the older sibling out of her and Jack.
After The Osbournes ended in 2005, she crafted a career as a singer-songwriter, TV star and author, and has built an estimated net worth of $15m (£11m).
She had a hit single in 2002 with a cover of Papa Don't Preach, and had a UK No1 the following year when she released Changes with her father.
Kelly is also known for her TV work which includes Australia's Got Talent, Project Runway Junior, Fashion Police, and Dancing With The Stars.
Kelly and Sid welcomed a baby boy, Sidney, together in late 2022.
The mum-of-tone posted on Instagram: "After 23 years of friendship I can't believe where we have ended up!
"You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson."
Then, earlier this month, Kelly revealed she is now engaged to Sid.
She shared a video of the moment Sid popped the question backstage at her father's final ever Black Sabbath gig.
Following the late Ozzy's last ever performance on stage ahead of his retirement, he could be seen unwinding with his family and friends backstage.
But Sid, 48, had an even bigger surprise for Kelly, 40, when he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him.
Stood in front of Sharon and Ozzy, they appeared to have an idea of what was to come as the former X Factor judge could be heard saying to everyone in the room: "You've got to be quiet!"
Sid then took the hand of Kelly, who was dressed down in some comfy leopard print trousers and a simple black hoodie.
He said to the TV personality: "Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world!"
Ozzy then appeared to give the game away as he jokingly quipped with his signature potty mouth: "F*** off, you are not marrying my daughter!"
The group laughed before Sid continued as he said: "I want to spend the rest of my life with you - and ask in front of all of our family and friends, Kelly, will you marry me?"
Kelly turned her head as she looked on open-mouthed before Sid began to stand up and place the ring onto her finger.
Sharon and Ozzy could be seen beaming as the onlookers clapped and cheered for the happy moment.
Uploading the video to her Instagram page, Kelly added the caption: "Oh and this happened yesterday!"
Sid proposed to Kelly with a bespoke custom-designed ring from Los Angeles based jewellers, Mouawad.
He designed the ring with the team through various one-on-one meetings in order to ensure it was right.
Sid chose to curate a dazzling 18K yellow gold ring adorned with both white and yellow diamonds, as well as citrine accents.
The centerpiece is a stunning 2.5 carat round brilliant-cut diamond with the ring being nicknamed the Honeybee - Kelly's personal nickname.
Her fans and celebrity pals were quick to respond with their congratulations and well-wishes to the pair.
Rylan said to the star: "OMG KEL!!! Congraaatttsssss"
Jonathan Cheban added: "AMAZING. LOVE YOU MOCHIE!!! Congrats!!!!"
As one of Kelly's adoring fans wrote: "Congratulations, I am crying and this is Awesome."
The engagement came backstage as Ozzy played his final ever show with Black Sabbath at Villa Park.
Ozzy, 76, vowed it would be his final performance due to his deteriorating health. He went public with his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2020.
His family sadly announced his passing on Tuesday, July 22.
A statement from his family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.
"Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."

Egg yolks, horse sex and necrophile nuns: Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights confirmed as ‘unconventional'

Equal parts intrigue and scepticism had already dogged the forthcoming adaptation of Wuthering Heights from Emerald Fennell – whose first two films, Promising Young Woman and Saltburn, displayed a love of mordant and explicit envelope-pushing. As reported by World of Reel, a first test screening for the film, which stars Margot Robbie and Saltburn's Jacob Elordi, took place earlier this week in Dallas, and audience reaction was 'mixed'. One attender described the film as 'aggressively provocative and tonally abrasive' and suggested it strongly recalled the 'stylised depravity' of Saltburn with scenes of 'clinical masturbation', a bondage-tinged sexual encounter involving horse reins and less conventional romance or emotional complexity than many aficionados of Emily Brontë's novel might expect. The film apparently opens with a public hanging in which the 'condemned man ejaculates mid-execution'. The crowd react orgiastically, and a nun 'fondles the corpse's visible erection'. Other signature Fennell shots include lingering takes of 'suggestive textures' such as egg yolks, bread dough and slug trails. Earlier this year the film's casting director, Kharmel Cochrane, defended her choices after many suggested Robbie was too old to play the role of Catherine Earnshaw, as well as questioning Elordi's ethnicity, since Heathcliff, the foundling with whom she falls in love, is generally perceived to have a Romany or Gypsy background. Most big and small screen adaptations of the novel have ignored this, with the character having been played by actors including Ralph Fiennes, Tom Hardy and Timothy Dalton. Andrea Arnold's 2011 adaptation cast a mixed race actor, James Howson, in the role. Speaking at the Sands film festival in Scotland, Cochrane said there was 'no need to be accurate' as the source material is 'just a book'. She continued: 'There's definitely going to be some English Lit fans that are not going to be happy. Wait until you see the set design, because that is even more shocking. And there may or may not be a dog collar in it.' The film, which is scheduled for release on Valentine's Day 2026, will be Robbie's first major role since Barbie and Fennell's first film since Saltburn became an audience sensation in 2023, although it underperformed with awards bodies. World of Reel quotes another attender of the Dallas screening as saying that despite strong leading performances, Fennell's take on their characters is sufficiently 'cold and unlikable' that engagement with their fates is made difficult.

Jack Osbourne expresses ‘sorrow and gratitude' after death of father Ozzy

Jack Osbourne has paid tribute to his father, Ozzy, and said his heart is filled with 'love and gratitude' as well as 'sadness and sorrow' following the rock star's death. The Black Sabbath frontman, who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019, died aged 76 on July 22nd from a reported heart attack. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jack Osbourne (@jackosbourne) In an Instagram post, Osbourne said: 'I haven't really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much. 'I'm gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches. He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him 'Dad'. 'My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing.' Advertisement Osbourne said a quote from US journalist and author Hunter S Thompson summed up his father, who 'lived his life fully'. He wrote: 'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body… but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a ride!'.' His message was accompanied by a video that featured Ozzy's song So Tired, and showed pictures and videos of the father and son with members of their family. On Tuesday, Birmingham Museum And Art Gallery announced it would be extending its Ozzy Osbourne exhibition to the end of 2025 due to public demand. Advertisement Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero, which was originally due to end on September 28, was opened by former X Factor judge Sharon on June 25 to coincide with the band's July 5 homecoming farewell concert at Villa Park. The free exhibition showcases Ozzy's honours including Grammys, MTV Awards and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame accolades. The family viewed the tributes last Wednesday during a procession in which the heavy metal star's body was carried through his home city a final time. Advertisement Kelly Osbourne thanked fans for their support in a social media post and said the beautiful messages she received 'have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life'. The siblings featured in the 2000s MTV reality show The Osbournes that shone a spotlight on the family's domestic life, although their older sister Aimee opted not to take part. Ozzy died just over two weeks after Black Sabbath were reunited barely two miles from where they first played together more than 50 years ago. The Back to the Beginning benefit concert saw performances from the likes of Anthrax, Metallica, Yungblud and Guns N' Roses. The group who formed in 1968 and were known for songs including War Pigs and Paranoid, were given the freedom of the city of Birmingham in June, which recognises people's exceptional service to the city.

Son Heung-min fever hits Los Angeles as record MLS signing unveiled

Wednesday afternoons in the dog days of summer are usually quiet at the Los Angeles Football Club official store, with a smattering of fans braving the sweltering heat to buy black-and-gold merchandise. This week, however, it was packed. The star attraction was Son Heung-min, the 33-year-old forward who joined LAFC after a decade at Tottenham Hotspur for about £20million, a Major League Soccer (MLS) record fee. Son was given a reception fit for a Hollywood star at his official unveiling inside BMO Stadium, his likeness greeting the afternoon traffic from a billboard outside the arena alongside a welcome message in English, Spanish and Korean. Korean autograph hunters holding brand new shirts — as well as a couple of Spurs tops — gathered in the car park hoping that Son, by far and away the most popular athlete in South Korea, would stop to say hello. Seungwon Ha, a 26-year-old exchange student from Seoul, was among the first to get a new shirt with Son's name and number. He had ditched a summer class at the University of Southern California to get a glimpse of his idol. 'Everybody knows him and loves him in Korea,' Ha said. For the past decade he has been staying up late to watch Son at Spurs and is now excited to be in the same time zone. He predicted the MLS would get a huge popularity boost in Korea with a national icon playing week in week out. Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, was among the speakers at the event, effusive in her praise of 'Sonny'. The signing, she said, was 'a moment that will be remembered in the city for generations to come'. Bass then presented Son with a plaque and officially declared him an Angeleno. Son should feel at home in southern California, with an estimated 320,000 Koreans living in greater Los Angeles. That includes the Koreatown neighbourhood, a trendy area filled with karaoke spots and Korean barbecue restaurants. For the past decade Spurs shirts with Son's name on the back have been a common sight. They are now sure to be replaced by black-and-gold LAFC tops. Matt Kim, a Korean American journalist living in Los Angeles, started supporting Spurs during the pandemic after watching Son's highlights from his time in north London. 'Just seeing someone from your country, who looks like you, dominate the sport in the way that he did for so long, it inspires,' he said. After being stung by the so-called Messi effect — when the Argentina legend signed for Inter Miami in the summer of 2023, tickets for matches shot up in price — Kim acted quickly this time around. When the rumours of Son's arrival in Los Angeles intensified, he bought two tickets for him and his girlfriend for about $100 each. Thanks to the 'Son effect', they would now cost almost double that. 'I'm very excited,' Kim said. The introductory press conference was filled with Korean journalists asking questions in two languages before rushing off to broadcast live for the breakfast news bulletins back home. An interpreter translated questions in English into Korean for the vast audience in Asia who had tuned in for a livestream. Son was also accompanied into the room by the loud drumbeat from the LAFC ultras. Kyu Cho, a 34-year-old originally from Seoul, has lived in Los Angeles for a decade, where he works in marketing. He said Son is bigger in South Korea than David Beckham is in the UK: 'He's a living legend in Korea.' Son, settling into his new surroundings, appreciated the support from his countrymen. After being welcomed by the mayor, he said: 'I'm here, I'm more than happy, and so, so excited seeing all Korean fans outside there.'
