On Thursday, May 8, the country star, 32, took home the honor during the ceremony in Frisco, Texas at Ford Center at the Star. She beat out Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen to win the honor — which she also won last year.
"Thank you so much," Wilson began after accepting the award from presenter Blake Shelton. "I love every single one of y'all in this category, and y'all have taken me under y'all's wings and took me out on the road with you, asked me to be on songs, supported me in every way that you possibly can."

The "4x4xU" musician continued, "I will tell you this: I'm sure everybody deals with a little bit of imposter syndrome, but I won't lie to you. I have a little bit. But I read something not long ago that that just said, 'If something is given to you, then you need to accept it with an open heart and an open mind.' And I just appreciate it."
"I really do have the best fans in the world," Wilson continued, recalling a sweet childhood memory that foreshadowed her country stardom.
"I remember I was thinking about it earlier this morning — I was just trying to like wrap my head around today — and I remember, my parents had this old hunting spotlight that we used to take off the charger all the time," she said. "And my sister would turn all the lights off in the house and she would shine the spotlight on me as I was running back and forth across the living room. I dreamed about entertaining. I love making people feel things. I love making people laugh and smile and cry. I'm sorry, I like to make you cry, because I love to feel things."
"Everybody loves to feel things. And country music has given me more than I deserve," Wilson continued. "And I appreciate everybody in this room. My heart is so full. Thank you so much. God bless every single one of y'all. I don't even know what else to say."
Wilson was nominated for six ACM Awards this year, including entertainer of the year, female artist of the year, album of the year song of the year for "4x4xU" of the year, visual media of the year for "4x4xU" and artist-songwriter of the year.
In addition to entertainer of the year, she won female artist of the year, album of the year for 2024's Whirlwind and artist-songwriter of the year.
Last year, Wilson also took home the coveted entertainer of the year honor, beating out a similar group of nominees: Combs, Jelly, Johnson, Stapleton, Wallen and Kane Brown.
"I remember being a little girl and I would climb out on the top of our roof. I'd open my window and climb out and I would count all the stars," she said in her speech. "I would look up and I'd see the planes flying over my little town of 200 people, and I'd dream about being up there in one of those planes."
Added Wilson: "And the funny thing is, I still feel like that little girl. I really do. I still climb out on the roof and I look at the stars, except I feel like I'm a little more eye level with them now."

Louisiana attorney general sues Roblox
The attorney general of Louisiana has filed a lawsuit against Roblox, accusing the platform of failing to implement basic safety controls and making the site the 'perfect place for pedophiles.' The lawsuit, filed on Thursday by Attorney General Liz Murrill, alleges that Roblox 'has and continues to facilitate the distribution of child sexual abuse material and the sexual exploitation of Louisiana's children.' It also accuses the platform of purposely not rolling out basic safety controls to protect children from predators and failing to notify parents of risks. Roblox, which launched in 2006, has 82 million daily active users. The lawsuit notes that 20% of these users are under the age of 8, whereas another 20% are between the ages of 9 and 12. 'Due to Roblox's lack of safety protocols, it endangers the safety of the children of Louisiana,' Murrill said in a statement. 'Roblox is overrun with harmful content and child predators because it prioritizes user growth, revenue, and profits over child safety. Every parent should be aware of the clear and present danger poised to their children by Roblox so they can prevent the unthinkable from ever happening in their own home.' According to the lawsuit, adults can pose as children on Roblox, and children can bypass age requirements to access experiences meant for older users. The lawsuit points to several sexually explicit experiences that were on the platform, including 'Escape to Epstein Island,' 'Diddy Party,' and 'Public Bathroom Simulator Vibe.' A spokesperson for Roblox said that while the company can't comment on pending litigation, the platform dedicates 'substantial resources, including advanced technology and 24/7 human moderation, to help detect and prevent inappropriate content and behavior, including attempts to direct users off platform, where safety standards and moderation may be less stringent than ours.' San Francisco | REGISTER NOW 'While no system is perfect, Roblox has implemented rigorous technology and enforcement safeguards, including restrictions on sharing personal information, links, and user-to-user image sharing,' the spokesperson said. 'The safety of our community is a top priority.' Last year, Roblox launched a number of safety measures to protect children on its platform, including barring users under the age of 13 from sending direct messages. The measures were implemented following reports that Roblox was exposing young users to dangerous risks, such as grooming and explicit content. Murrill's lawsuit states that Roblox's recent safety measures were implemented too late and are inadequate. The lawsuit seeks permanent injunctive relief, prohibiting the company from claiming that it has adequate safety features and from engaging in any activity that would violate the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices Act.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Rumor Teases a Major Role For Hulk and He Will Get "Angry" Again — GeekTyrant
Spider-Man: Brand New Day just got a whole lot more intense with a new rumor suggesting that Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner is not only coming back, but possibly in his most rage-filled form yet… the return of 'Savage' Hulk. We've known for awhile now that Spider-Man: Brand New Day could throw The Hulk into the chaos, and now it's being reported that Ruffalo will have a substantial role in the film, not just a quick cameo. Banner's presence is expected to be pivotal to the plot. According to insiders, "Banner's appearance will be much larger than a cameo, and Ruffalo will have a substantial role in the film." Fans have been busy theorizing about how Hulk fits into the story. With Jon Bernthal already confirmed to return as Frank Castle/The Punisher, speculation is running wild that we might finally see the Smart Hulk persona step aside. Instead, we could get a brutal reawakening of the raging, destructive version of Hulk we haven't seen in years. Scooper MTTSH added more fuel to the fire, saying that we will 'finally get Angry Hulk back' in the movie. That doesn't necessarily mean we're getting a mindless, smashing machine, but it does strongly hint at the return of the more dangerous, less-controlled side of the character. Whether this is a temporary transformation or something that builds toward the rumored World War Hulk project is anyone's guess, but either way it sounds like things are going to get explosive with the character. While Spider-Man: Brand New Day centers on Tom Holland's Peter Parker, the addition of Hulk, and possibly a showdown between the two, is more than enough to get fans hyped. Throw in Michael Mando as Mac Gargan aka The Scorpion , Liza Colón-Zayas and Sadie Sink, in a mystery roles, and returning characters MJ and Ned played by Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, and the film is shaping up to be packed with interesting characters. There's also ongoing speculation about new characters from the Brand New Day comic arc, like Carlie Cooper or Lily Hollister (aka Menace), possibly making their debut. Production has officially kicked off. Holland recently shared some behind-the-scenes excitement: "It's day one — my fourth-ever day one on Spider-Man. You know, it's funny. Putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. 'It's also the first time we've ever had fans on set for day one, so it's really exciting to share this with them. We've got some familiar faces on set. You know, I'm just going to do my best, hopefully get it right. No pressure." Marvel Studios will release Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters on July 31, 2026.

Benson Boone Doubles His Total Top 10 Count
Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' is one of the most successful songs in the history of Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. Despite the pop-rock smash's longevity and continued popularity, the format has been slow to show love to the pop singer's 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else,' one of his 2025 singles Months after the cut arrived on the ranking, it finally reaches an important new high point and earns Boone another career milestone. 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' Reaches the Top 10 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' breaks into the top 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart for the first time as it ascends from No. 11 to No. 10. 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' Joins 'Beautiful Things' Boone's first top 10 on the Adult Contemporary list was 'Beautiful Things,' which helped introduce him to audiences all around the world well over a year ago. 'Slow It Down,' 'Mystical Magical' and 'Ghost Town' Throughout his career, Boone has racked up five placements on the Adult Contemporary chart. 'Slow It Down,' 'Mystical Magical,' and 'Ghost Town' peaked at Nos. 18, 25, and 28, respectively, with the latter two only managing one stay on the tally apiece. 'Mystical Magical' debuted on the Adult Contemporary radio roster earlier this month, but it quickly fell away, and it's unclear if it will be able to return. Benson Boone's Top 10 Hit on All of Billboard's Pop Charts Now that it has reached No. 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart, 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' has become a top 10 smash on all three of Billboard's pop radio rosters.
