
Collector inspects MIDC for visually impaired
During his visit, the Collector interacted with the students, inquired about their welfare, and inspected the facilities available at the center. He also personally reviewed the recently announced Intermediate examination results of the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Vinod Kumar congratulated the girls benefiting from the services provided by the Meenakshi Integrated Development Centre and encouraged them to aim for even greater success. Appreciating the efforts of the organization, he urged them to expand their services further to benefit more individuals in society.
He assured that any assistance required by the center would be provided promptly through the government and the district administration. He announced that the necessary land allocation for the construction of a new building, as per government norms, would be arranged. The Collector instructed the concerned officials to prepare and submit the relevant proposals within a week. The visit was also attended by Anantapur RDO Keshava Naidu, Welfare Officer for Differently Abled Vinod, center administrators Ravikanth Ramana, teacher Venkata Narayana, and others.

Railways organises exhibition showcasing partition horrors
1 2 Patna: Danapur division of the East Central Railway (ECR) organised a special photo exhibition on the occasion of 'Partition Horrors Remembrance Day' at the Danapur station premises. Danapur divisional railway manager (DRM) Vinod Kumar inaugurated the exhibition on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the DRM recalled that while India attained Independence on August 15, 1947, after 200 years of colonial rule, it also endured the immense tragedy of the partition. "The night of August 14, 1947 marked the beginning of mass displacement, with millions rendered homeless and separated from their families. Homes, farmlands and livelihoods were lost and countless lives perished," he said. Railways takes out ‘Tiranga' rally
Patna: A team of railway officials, led by Danapur divisional railway manager (DRM) Vinod Kumar, organised a 'Tiranga' rally within the railway colonies in Khagaul on Tuesday morning. The event was held as part of the nationwide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign aimed at encouraging citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes on Independence Day . Danapur senior divisional commercial manager Abhinav Siddarth said the rally commenced from the DRM's office premises with participants carrying the tricolour and marching in unison through the colony. "The railway officials, RPF, NCC and scouts joined the procession reflecting a collective spirit of national pride and unity," he said.
