Liam and Noel Gallagher ‘still haven't rehearsed together' despite Oasis tour just weeks away

The Oasis reunion tour is, quite literally, around the corner, but it seems rehearsals aren't exactly a military operation. In fact, it's believed brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher haven't rehearsed together yet at all… despite their run of stadium shows kicking off in July. Older sibling Noel, 58, has been busy working on musical arrangements and fine-tuning the set list ahead of the first concert in Cardiff on July 4. It's believed the opening and closing songs have also been finalised, as the gigs will begin with Acquiesce before ending with the classic Champagne Supernova, which will undoubtedly delight crowds. As for Liam, 52, it's claimed he's yet to get in the studio with Noel, with whom he hasn't performed for over 15 years. This includes fellow performers Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Mikey Rowe. As per publicists for the band in a comment to the Daily Mail, the once-feuding brothers simply want to avoid being seen together until the very moment they step out onto the stage at the Principality Stadium in 34 days. However, not everyone is convinced by the explanation, given that Liam and Noel managed to arrive separately to film an Adidas ad last month before also leaving at different times, which they could also do with tour rehearsals. Instead, Liam – who is set to become a grandfather for the first time in a matter of months – is chilling at his £4million mansion in the South of France with his girlfriend, Debbie Gwyther. As per an insider, it's said the Oasis double act are taking the 'Rolling Stones protocol' on board for their own tour, which refers to how rock legends Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards would be kept apart as much as possible to avoid friction, given that they slept with one another's girlfriends and had personal beef. So, it seems Liam and Noel hope their operation will run much more smoothly by following in their footsteps, despite there being barely any time left until their 41-date, hotly anticipated tour begins this summer. Expanding on what could possibly jeopardise the tour's success, a source added: 'Everyone knows that with Liam's personality, hostilities could break out at any moment. 'If Noel takes the bait, then there could easily be a meltdown.' The insider added that Liam is keen to 'rest' his voice at the moment; hence, he's been 'relaxing' and 'spending time with his mum, Peggy,' before the madness ensues. And while things are still appearing a little frosty, there is reason to be hopeful the creases will be ironed out in the coming weeks to avoid an awkward atmosphere on stage. 'They will jam and work out a set list, and Liam will be the last one to join in with the vocals,' added the mole. 'There is plenty of time and Liam is a born rock 'n' roll star who has lived and breathed these songs and performed a lot of them in his solo shows, so he doesn't need much rehearsal.' For their UK leg, the Wonderwall hitmakers will perform multiple shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin. To the euphoria of international fans, they're also set to take their tour to Asia, Australia, North America, and South America, meaning they'll be on the road until late November. Surely it'll be worth it, though, as Liam and Noel are estimated to rake in as much as £50million each from the reunion we all never thought would happen. 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,' their tour announcement said last August. Oasis disbanded in August 2009 due to the tensions between Liam and Noel, with their conflict reaching boiling point just before a scheduled performance at V Festival.

Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa Hogan reveals why he hasn't proposed

Lisa Hogan, the girlfriend of Top Gear presenter turned farmer Jeremy Clarkson, has revealed the reason they still haven't married. The pair have been in a relationship for nine years, having officially become a couple in 2017 after an 'extended period of courting' from the Clarkson's Farm figurehead. Former actress and model Lisa, 51, now helps Jeremy, 65, run Diddly Squat, and appears on screen with him in all four seasons of the Amazon produced docu-series. In this time, she and Jeremy have weathered tragedy (including the devastating loss of a litter of piglets) and the fury of their neighbours in the Cotswolds, who've hit back against Jeremy's ever-expanding farm. With the series having recently returned for a fourth outing, Jeremy and Lisa have their hands full with his latest venture – his new pub, the Farmer's Dog. Amid the chaos, Lisa remains Jeremy's right-hand woman and resident farm shop boss. Although, after nine years, he still hasn't popped the question. In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Lisa speaks of the moment she met the journalist and TV presenter, at a party nine years ago. Jeremy, she revealed, was always on her radar. 'I used to let my son stay up to watch Top Gear, but I never really watched it myself. I knew him more from his writing. I always loved his columns,' said Lisa, who recently celebrated her 51st birthday. 'I thought he was bright – and probably amusing. And I think he thought I'd be amusing.' The piece hints that she's not truly 'bothered' that Jeremy hasn't yet proposed – revealing that they both seems content with 'being together 24/7' anyway, while their children get on well. Jeremy has three children from his previous marriage – daughters Emily and Katya, and son Finlo – as does she, in Elizabeth, Alice and Wolfe. Lisa previously addressed the issue of marriage when questioned by Fabulous Magazine earlier this year. 'Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. We decided not to have children together,' Belfast Live report her as saying. 'We're at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I'm just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it's much easier. You go: 'God, is it you I end up with? OK, that's it.' 'But it's relaxing knowing you are not going to be with anybody else. It gives you a certain amount of liberation.' Prior to her relationship with Jeremy, Lisa was married to Madrid-based art collector Baron Steven Bentinck, with whom she shares her three children. After marrying in the 1990s, the couple split up in 2005 and finalised their divorce in 2011. Jeremy, meanwhile, had been married twice prior to meeting Lisa. He was first married to Alexandra James from 1989 to 1990, and then Frances Cain from 1993 to 2014. After meeting at a party hosted by friends, Jeremy and Lisa hit it off, and began dating after an extended courting period. 'It was quite a long courtship, as I didn't know where he was in his life. And I wasn't ready to start dating again; didn't want to go out with anyone,' she once told The Times. 'He had to court me for three months.' Lisa gave a cheeky insight into the reality of her relationship with Jeremy during a recent episode of Clarkson's Farm, joking about his sexual prowess as they welcomed a new pig to the farm. As new farmhand Harriet took the time to point out the female pigs' 'little clitoris' to her boss, Jeremy was taken aback. More Trending 'Pigs have clitorises?' Jeremy replied. 'I didn't know that this morning. There has been no morning in the last 63 years that I've known that.' Harriet later shared the exchange with Lisa, who joked that Jeremy 'can't find it either.' She then turned to Jeremy and asked: 'Do you not know what a clitoris looks like? Have you never found one? You've never seen one? It's the start of the vagina, love.'
