Liam and Noel Gallagher ‘still haven't rehearsed together' despite Oasis tour just weeks away
The Oasis reunion tour is, quite literally, around the corner, but it seems rehearsals aren't exactly a military operation.
In fact, it's believed brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher haven't rehearsed together yet at all… despite their run of stadium shows kicking off in July.
Older sibling Noel, 58, has been busy working on musical arrangements and fine-tuning the set list ahead of the first concert in Cardiff on July 4.
It's believed the opening and closing songs have also been finalised, as the gigs will begin with Acquiesce before ending with the classic Champagne Supernova, which will undoubtedly delight crowds.
As for Liam, 52, it's claimed he's yet to get in the studio with Noel, with whom he hasn't performed for over 15 years.
This includes fellow performers Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Mikey Rowe.
As per publicists for the band in a comment to the Daily Mail, the once-feuding brothers simply want to avoid being seen together until the very moment they step out onto the stage at the Principality Stadium in 34 days.
However, not everyone is convinced by the explanation, given that Liam and Noel managed to arrive separately to film an Adidas ad last month before also leaving at different times, which they could also do with tour rehearsals.
Instead, Liam – who is set to become a grandfather for the first time in a matter of months – is chilling at his £4million mansion in the South of France with his girlfriend, Debbie Gwyther.
As per an insider, it's said the Oasis double act are taking the 'Rolling Stones protocol' on board for their own tour, which refers to how rock legends Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards would be kept apart as much as possible to avoid friction, given that they slept with one another's girlfriends and had personal beef.
So, it seems Liam and Noel hope their operation will run much more smoothly by following in their footsteps, despite there being barely any time left until their 41-date, hotly anticipated tour begins this summer.
Expanding on what could possibly jeopardise the tour's success, a source added: 'Everyone knows that with Liam's personality, hostilities could break out at any moment.
'If Noel takes the bait, then there could easily be a meltdown.'
The insider added that Liam is keen to 'rest' his voice at the moment; hence, he's been 'relaxing' and 'spending time with his mum, Peggy,' before the madness ensues.
And while things are still appearing a little frosty, there is reason to be hopeful the creases will be ironed out in the coming weeks to avoid an awkward atmosphere on stage.
'They will jam and work out a set list, and Liam will be the last one to join in with the vocals,' added the mole.
'There is plenty of time and Liam is a born rock 'n' roll star who has lived and breathed these songs and performed a lot of them in his solo shows, so he doesn't need much rehearsal.'
For their UK leg, the Wonderwall hitmakers will perform multiple shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
To the euphoria of international fans, they're also set to take their tour to Asia, Australia, North America, and South America, meaning they'll be on the road until late November.
Surely it'll be worth it, though, as Liam and Noel are estimated to rake in as much as £50million each from the reunion we all never thought would happen.
'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,' their tour announcement said last August.
Oasis disbanded in August 2009 due to the tensions between Liam and Noel, with their conflict reaching boiling point just before a scheduled performance at V Festival.

BBC presenter Amanda Byram 'refuses to be shamed' for having a baby at 51
Former Total Wipeout presenter Amanda Byram has defended her decision to have a second child at the age of 51 TV presenter Amanda Byram has opened up about becoming a mother again at the age of 51, and says she "refuses to be shamed" for having a baby later in life. The former Total Wipeout and Big Breakfast host spoke about how her second son, Jett, was born earlier this year after a decades-long fertility journey that involved IVF and multiple miscarriages. In a first-person piece for the Daily Mail, she told readers: "In January this year, after 30 hours of sucking in Royal Sussex County Hospital's finest gas and air, at 51 I finally had the family I'd dreamt of. My second son, Jett, was a month premature, but he felt years overdue." Amanda began freezing her eggs at 40, met her husband Julian at 41, and the pair welcomed their first child, Phoenix, shortly after her 49th birthday. When their first boy was two years old, they decided they wanted to try again. Although both pregnancies were healthy and largely uneventful, she explained that the couple chose to keep them secret to avoid publicly going through possible disappointment after facing many fertility setbacks. When she announced Phoenix's birth three years ago, Amanda was initially showered with love and support, but the presenter was soon hit with online criticism for having a child at her age. One commenter exclaimed: "There's no way she gave birth to this child!" Others accused her of being selfish or predicted her children would suffer because of her age. "Fast-forward 20 years: a young man on the cusp of adulthood with two dead parents," another wrote. "I'm sorry but that's just a fact." Amanda said the most painful criticism came from fellow mothers, which left her questioning whether to even share her age at all with other parents at playgroups or parks. However, she has now embraced being an older mum and decided to speak out against judgements made based on her age. She shared: "I refuse to waste time worrying about what other people think, and even less worrying about what might happen 20 or 30 years from now. "Finally I have maturity and wisdom – and these outstrip any traits I possessed in my younger years." Amanda added that she stays healthy and doesn't drink or smoke, which she believes will give her many happy years with her kids. Beyond staying in shape, the BBC star wants to focus on what she can control: loving her children unconditionally and helping them grow into confident, compassionate adults. She defiantly hit back at naysayers, writing: "I might be a silver-haired lady when I collect my kids from primary school, but I'll be proud of every single strand. "If we don't speak up, how can we expect change? The keyboard critics will win, while society will continue to question and condemn the women who – for one reason or a million others – left it late to start a family."

Liam and Noel Gallagher performing together today as Oasis frontman updates fans
The first full Oasis rehearsals is taking place today - with Liam Gallagher reuniting with the rest of the band at a secret location and declaring he is 'loving life'. Frontman Liam was so excited about playing music with brother Noel Gallagher he was up at 6am replying to fans on X, formerly twitter, and told them rehearsals were happening. A second source also confirmed the band were meeting again today, having already started band rehearsals without Liam last month. It will be the first time Liam and Noel have played music together and performed together since 2009 - and comes just a month before they will hit the stage for fans in a giant UK tour. Liam told fans he was feeling 'biblical' but said he would not be posing for photos outside the rehearsal studios. He said: 'You won't see me I'm not a poser, I'll be in and out.' He also told another fan: 'I'm fine, loving life, how about you?' The first photos of the band leaving rehearsals in London were published in May. They showed Noel Gallagher, Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer and Andy Bell who will play guitars in the massive sold out gigs, with Andy on bass. The band also has new members in keyboard player Christian Madden and drummer JoeyWaronker on drums. He has played with Liam before on a tour but never in Oasis. Noel and Liam will walk on stage for the first time together in public, since the band split nearly two decades ago, on July 4 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. There will also be dates in Manchester, London and Dublin as part of the tour. Noel, 57, quit the Manchester rock group on August 28 2009, saying he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer", and the brothers had made negative comments about each other for more than a decade. That all changed with the announcement of the tour in August last year. The pair posed for several photos together confirming the band's long-awaited reunion on Tuesday, saying: "The great wait is over." In April Live Forever by Oasis was crowned the best British song of all time in a new poll ahead of the band's highly-anticipated reunion tour this summer. The Manchester band led by Noel and Liam Gallagher had an incredible 16 tracks in the top 100 results by Radio X. As well as Live Forever, 'Don't Look Back In Anger,' 'Slide Away' and 'Champagne Supernova' also made the top 10. It was Radio X's 10 th annual Best Of British with B&Q poll. ENDS

Code of Silence ending explained: What happened to Liam and Braden?
Code of Silence ending explained: What happened to Liam and Braden? Code of Silence saw Liam Barlow choose between the criminal gang and his relationship with Alison Brooks. Kieron Moore as Liam in Code of Silence (Image: MAMMOTH SCREEN/ITV ) Code of Silence has been airing on ITV and the explosive finale revealed what happened to Liam Barlow (played by Kieron Moore) and Braden Moore (Joe Absolom). The final episode started after the revelation Liam had planned to escape alone with the necklace all along. Ben Lawford (Nathan Armarkwei) was out of surgery, recovering from the gunshot wound, and the rest of the officers wanted to make sure putting his life on the line wasn't "for nothing". They asked Alison to text Liam so if he checked his messages they could locate him, meanwhile Alison and her mum were taken to a safehouse. Braden, who had been on the run, was blindsided that Liam had set him up. While Helen Redman (Beth Goddard) and Joseph Holhurst (Andrew Scarborough) were brought in for questioning. Unfortunately for the team, Helen still had the upper hand and she claimed the heist was all planned by Liam and Braden. Liam wanted Alison to run away with him Meanwhile, a surprising discovery was made about Liam, who had in fact changed his surname since his time in foster care. DI James Marsh discovered the man who was killed in the previous heist, Charlie, was in fact Liam's foster dad, whom he had cared for dearly. It transpired Liam had taken the necklace for revenge, wanting Braden and Helen to pay for what they did. Liam had set up a meeting with Alison and he asked her to run away with him, but she wanted him to testify against Helen and Joseph. Yet Liam, who did not want to end up with a lengthy prison sentence, could not contact the police. Alison was held captive by Braden After their meeting, Alison went back to the Canterbury Tap where she came face to face with Braden. Wanting to lure Liam back to him with the necklace, he held Alison hostage at a warehouse. Before handing over the necklace to Braden, Liam went back to his foster mum to say goodbye as he said he would need to spend his life on the run. He took the necklace to Helen in return for Alison, but, in a twist of events, he had also called the police. While Braden had a gun to Liam, Liam cleverly used sign language to tell Alison 'police, go' instead of 'please go', so she knew the police were coming. Joe Absolom as Braden Moore (Image: MAMMOTH SCREEN/ITV ) Alison couldn't believe Liam had given himself up for her, and on the day of his court hearing, he told her he was continuing to practice British Sign Language. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to rob, while Braden and Helen had also been taken down for their involvement. Joseph was arrested after being charged with money laundering. As for Alison, she and her mum moved into a new flat for a fresh start, and James surprised her with £50,000 for helping them. He encouraged her to put some of it towards a forensic lip reading course, telling her she would be a highly sought-after asset. Article continues below Code of Silence is available to watch on ITVX
