Kaizer Chiefs misfit has 'a great time' whenever he leaves the premises

Kaizer Chiefs Football Club is a tough nut to crack. Some players thrive there, but more recently, it's a struggle for most.
Rwanda National Team manager Adel Amrouche has confirmed French interest in Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari. When he arrived, the 25-year-old was a regular in the Chiefs first team, but inopportune injuries have pushed him down the pecking order. Ntwari, who came from TS Galaxy in July 2024, has only made seven appearances for Chiefs.
'There is a second division club from France; they also asked me about him,' Amrouche told FARPost .
Despite his struggles at club level, Ntwari has been a regular for his country during World Cup qualifiers. Ironically, Ntwari's Rwanda are in Group C of qualifiers alongside South Africa. They're sitting relatively pretty with eight points after six outings. It's not out of the question that both nations could qualify for the 2026 showpiece staged in Mexico, Canada and the United States. 25-year-old Ntwari, who stands at 1.94m tall, has 12 caps for his nation and will look to build on that as we approach a World Cup year.
'I trust the coaches at Chiefs, and I hope between now and June, he's going to get his chance to play again because we need him for the rest of the qualifiers.'
'He was good. I thought the lack of game time would affect him, but he was good. You can see his teammates trust him, and I also trust him. I have a lot of confidence in him because of his qualities. He's also an incredible person to work with. He's a hard worker, and the players love him. People love him in Rwanda.'
Should Chiefs sell Ntwari?

FIFA ask Kaizer Chiefs to pay R3 million?

It seems like FIFA will advise Kaizer Chiefs to pay R1.5 million each in development compensation for Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman, the two promising players developed by Cape Town Spurs, according to FIFA regulations. FIFA's development compensation framework requires clubs to compensate those responsible for a player's training between the ages of 12 and 21, particularly when the player signs their first professional contract or moves clubs before turning 23. According to this latest local report, Kaizer Chiefs are said to be willing to reach this agreement. Spurs, one of South Africa's most respected youth academies, responded by formally lodging a claim with the South African Football Association (SAFA), seeking compensation for the time and resources invested in grooming the two players. 'You know, Kaizer Chiefs are willing to follow the rules and do the right thing by the book,' a source told Soccer Laduma . 'That's why it's believed that they are expected to pay R1.5 million for each player, which means R3 million for the two players. 'You remember the same case happened between Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy involving Puso Dithejane when he left Chiefs. Galaxy had to pay that development compensation fee, and that's what they could be expected to pay Spurs according to FIFA rules, ' the source added. Khune shares his views on Kaizer Chiefs new signings

Amakhosi have announced six signings so far. Former Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune has called on the Amakhosi faithful to be patient with the club's new signings and give them a fair chance, particularly striker Flavio Silva. Chiefs have bolstered the squad with six new additions ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season. OPINION – New season, same old Kaizer Chiefs? Amakhosi have signed Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane from Orlando Pirates. In addition, have secured the services of left back Nkanyiso Shinga, midfielders Ethan Chislett and Siphesihle Ndlovu, as well as striker Flávio Silva. While the other players seemed to have adapted quicker to the club's playing style under coach Nasreddine Nabi, Silva has struggled to fit into the system. 'When you talk about Paseka Mako and when you talk about Thabiso Monyane, they are bringing that winning mentality from Orlando Pirates,' said Khune. 'Of course, we need to give Silva a fair turn,' Khune added. 'We only just debate him in the first games that we've seen him play, but he's definitely going to show us what he can bring to South African football.' Silva, who has faled to score in the first few outings for Chiefs during the preseason, has faced criticism with many doubting if he has the qualities to solve the goalscoring issue at Amakhosi. 'Strikers thrive on confidence, and he's still settling into a new environment, new teammates, and a different style of football. Let's back him,' Khune concluded.
