HEY HEY IT'S OPENING DAY!
That's right, it's time for 2025 MLB Opening Day, with almost every team in action on the first day of the season. And while there's that whole men's March Madness Sweet 16 thing at night, there's a lot of great baseball action on Thursday.
And if you need a guide to every game, we've got it for you: a ranking of every game -- which ones you should watch if you can and which ones you can pass on if you need a break.

Let's dive in and rank all 14 games on Thursday by watchability (all times Eastern):
14. Los Angeles Angels at Chicago White Sox, 4:10 p.m.
Yikes. I'll pass.
13. Athletics at Seattle Mariners, 10:10 p.m.
We'll be knee-deep in the men's March Madness Sweet 16 and I don't feel like staying up late for this one.
Might be good, but I think there are better games out there.
Two teams that could be sneaky good, but there are way better games on the slate.
10. Philadelphia Phillies at Washington Nationals, 4:05 p.m.
One team is good. One team is not. I'll say pass on this one.
Similar to the one above.
If it was on earlier on the East Coast, it'd be higher.
7. Milwaukee Brewers at New York Yankees, 3 p.m.
OK, you've got my attention. The first game of the day, it's on ESPN ... yeah, solid.

4. Cleveland Guardians at Kansa City Royals, 4:10 p.m.

1. Detroit Tigers at Los Angeles Dodgers, 7 p.m.
Could be a World Series matchup, and maybe you want to see the All-Star Dodgers against Tarik Skubal.

BALTIMORE — Charlie Morton struck out a season-high 10 in five innings, Ryan O'Hearn and Ramón Laureano hit home runs and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Los Angeles Angeles 2-0 on Friday night in a game that was delayed by rain before the start and again in the fifth inning. Morton (3-7) surrendered two straight singles to begin the fourth, but he struck out LaMonte Wade Jr. on three pitches before two ground balls got him out of the jam. Morton fanned Zach Neto leading off the fifth. He left after rain forced the second delay.

Advertisement Angels starter Jack Kochanowicz (3-8) used three groundball outs to retire the side in order in the first, but O'Hearn hit his 10th home run on Kochanowicz's first pitch in the second for a 1-0 lead. Laureano led off the fifth with his eighth homer for the final run. The second delay followed after a one-out single by Ramón Urías. Yennier Cano, Gregory Soto and Bryan Baker each pitched a scoreless inning for Baltimore before Félix Bautista had the final two of 14 strikeouts by the Orioles in notching his 12th save in 13 chances. Kochanowicz gave up two runs and four hits in 4 1/3 innings and the Angels used four relievers to finish. The Orioles beat the Angels for the 20th time in the last 25 matchups. LA won 2 of 3 against Baltimore on May 9-11. This section will be updated throughout the College World Series Arizona became the first team from the eight-team CWS field to fall into the elimination bracket with a 7-4 loss to Coastal Carolina on June 13. The Wildcats were tied 4-4 with the Chanticleers going into the bottom of the eighth until an RBI double from Wells Sykes down the right-field line gave Coastal Carolina a 5-4 lead. Coastal Carolina would then score two more runs in the inning, which came on a two-RBI double from Blake Barthol. Despite a valiant effort in the top of the ninth to tie the game at 3-3, Louisville joined the Wildcats in the elimination bracket after Oregon State left fielder Gavin Turley hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth to lose 4-3 to the Beavers.
