Car crash near Diamond kills Pierce City child
NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. — A child from Pierce City died on Monday evening after a car crash occurred east of Diamond, Missouri.
According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a 55-year-old man was driving a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer failed to yield on Highway J, three miles east of Diamond.

The man struck a 2003 Ford F250, carrying two adults and two children. According to the report, the 6-year-old child was pronounced dead at the scene. The next of kin has been notified has been notified of the child's passing.
This is Troop D's 31st fatality of 2025.

‘Grinch' who allegedly stole, prowled cars on Christmas in Camas arrested

(KOIN) — Months after a person was caught on camera stealing a car and prowling other vehicles last Christmas, Camas police announced on Wednesday that they have made an arrest in the case.
