While Esteban Ocon found a glimpse of himself in Brad's onscreen character, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris were impressed by the film's storyline.
Here's what F1 drivers said about the film
F1 stars Brad Pitt as a Formula 1 driver who goes on to mentor a rookie, played by Damson Idris, and also realizes his own forgotten dream of becoming the best F1 driver in the world. The film has been shot in real F1 cars on real racetracks, with Brad Pitt performing his own racing scenes.
Charles Leclerc confessed that F1 drivers tend to get overly analytical in real life, but he was still impressed with the film. He said, "The storytelling is really cool and the images are just incredible. The job that the team has done in order to have different angles that we don't actually see on racetracks is really cool. I really enjoyed it.'
Lando Norris liked the movie and was impressed with the storyline. Praising his own cameo in the film, the McLaren driver said, 'I was brilliant in it and that was the main thing!' and went on to add, 'It was a cool story, I think an inspirational story – it had a lot of different meanings behind it all.
But a cool storyline and a lot of inspiration for young people coming into it.'
Pierre Gasly called the movie screening a beautiful experience. Talking about it, the Alpine driver said, 'I think people are going to enjoy – it's a real dive into our world of Formula 1 for us as drivers but also all the people evolving around Formula 1. So I'm sure people will like it, a great production and it's kind of funny to also feature in a movie!'
Haas driver Esteban Ocon connected with Brad Pitt's character, Sonny Hayes, in the film and called it the best racing film he had ever seen.

'Honestly awesome. I've never seen such an image and how immersive it is when you are inside the car. Obviously I know it in reality but in the movie you can really feel the speed and the story is super entertaining, which was really fun to watch,' he said.
'I got to see myself quite a lot of times racing with Sonny, which was quite close at times! I enjoyed that one too. Honestly a beautiful movie. Well done to F1, well done to all the crew and everyone – the producers – that have worked on the movie. I think it's honestly fantastic and it's definitely the best movie of racing that I've seen,' he added.

Indian classical arts spark cross-cultural empathy in European schools
Sohini Roychowdhury, along with Indro Roychowdhury and Sanjib Pal, recently conducted performances and interactive sessions in Austria and Germany, using Indian classical arts to foster empathy and cultural sensitivity among children and young adults. Through Bharatanatyam, sitar music, and storytelling based on Indian epics, they communicated timeless values, reimagining the Navarasas for a new generation. 'Dance has a magical combination of elements that helps us become more in tune with our emotions and how we express them,' says dance exponent Sohini Roychowdhury, summing up the mission that recently took her across schools and universities in Austria and Germany. The dancer conducted a series of performances and interactive sessions designed to foster empathy and cultural sensitivity among children and young adults through the transformative power of Indian classical arts. Joining her were sitar player Indro Roychowdhury and tabla player Sanjib Pal, whose soulful renditions created an immersive atmosphere of curiosity, wonder, and emotional connection. The experience was far more than a performance — it became a deeply engaging cultural exchange. Children from ages 6 to 18, including those with special needs, responded with enthusiasm, particularly during the interactive segments. Sohini led the young audience through expressive Bharatanatyam mudras and movements in a session themed around 'Shiva the Kind.' The performances culminated in a participatory musical segment where Indro explained the therapeutic qualities of Ragas, while children joined in singing and rhythm. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo Moments like Sohini's Thillana performance and Indro's rendition of Ahir-Bhairav — evoking imagery of Krishna, spring, and joy — brought India's classical traditions vividly to life. 'Get your hands off me': Shaquille O'Neal throws Stephen A Smith out during pregame show in a lighthearted moment

Image via: Ethan Miller - Formula 1/Formula 1 via Getty |Just before tipoff of the 2025 NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder, a moment of spontaneous hilarity unfolded on live television. It is no secret that Inside the NBA is moving to ESPN from TNT. During a crossover segment between ESPN and TNT, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith brought his signature energy to the set of Inside the NBA, resulting in a playful clash with Shaquille O'Neal and Kenny Smith. Shaquille O'Neal showed Stephen A. Smith out, but it's all love In what fans are calling one of the funniest moments of the Finals pregame coverage, Stephen A. Smith walked onto the Inside the NBA set unannounced, getting in the faces of Shaquille O'Neal and Kenny Smith. Smith wasted no time pushing boundaries—literally—by touching Shaq's head, prompting an exaggerated but hilarious reaction from the NBA legend. 'Get your hands off me, Stephen A. Smith,' said O'Neal, dressed in a brown suit, holding the mic in mock protest. The set erupted in laughter, with Kenny Smith jumping in, echoing, 'Back up off my guy, man!' Despite the apparent theatrics, the chemistry between the analysts was clear. As the show continued, Stephen A. kept up his antics, interacting with the panel and playfully testing the boundaries of live television decorum. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Paneles solares en España: lo que todo propietario debería saber Eco Experts Undo At one point, O'Neal quipped, 'Bring me some hot chocolate so I can spill it on your Blazer,' poking fun at Stephen A.'s choice of outfit while keeping the mood light and jovial. As the iconic Inside the NBA prepares to leave its longtime home at TNT, fans have been understandably anxious about how the beloved show will transition to ESPN in the 2025-26 season. Fortunately, recent updates suggest the core of the show will remain untouched, especially its freewheeling postgame format. According to Front Office Sports, ESPN plans to give Inside the NBA the same 'extensive' postgame airtime that viewers have come to expect. That means fans can still count on Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and Shaquille O'Neal delivering their signature mix of analysis, comedy, and chaos without being squeezed by strict runtime limitations. 'There will be an extensive post-game show, say sources. ESPN's goal is to let the post-game segment run as long as it does now on TNT,' the report noted. Still, not everyone on the crew is at ease. Kenny Smith shared his lingering concerns in a recent interview with The New Yorker, focusing on the lack of control the crew had in negotiating the move. 'We have the same crew of people doing the show,' Smith said. 'But the timing: Are we a half hour now? Are we forty-five minutes? Fifteen minutes?' 'Because I felt that the four of us should have went into ABC to negotiate that deal... we are the I.P. now.' Now, only time will tell the actual scenario of the fan-favorite show after the historic move.
