Sally previously confessed that she finds it 'horrendous' working with her husband on the soap set.
Speaking to OK! in 2024 Sally revealed that her other half was so funny that he often leaves her in stitches during scenes, making her relieved their characters don't often come face to face on screen.
'Obviously, I love my husband dearly, but to work with him would be horrendous – he's too funny!'
Adding: 'I do tend to watch Joe's stuff [in Corrie] at home but sometimes it's hard to get into it because he's already told me everything about the filming of it.'
Sally joined Coronation Street in 2017, playing former drug addict Abi, with the character becoming embroiled in a dramatic storyline this year following the murder of her son Seb.
She met Joe on set, with the actor playing cab boss Tim.
The live together in a village close to Stockport and got engaged during the first lockdown last year, with Sally being a step-mother to Joe's three children, aged 27, 16 and 14.
She was previously known for playing former heroin addict and prostitute Kelly Maguire in Shameless from 2009-2013.
In the coming years she admits she'd love to appear in a Christmas movie aside from Coronation Street.

Newlyweds Jack and Hanni shared a passionate kiss as white confetti fell on them after the romantic ceremony.
Jack, who has played the iconic David Platt on the ITV show since 2000, cut a dapper figure in a white suit as he arrived in a red mustang with his mother and his son Reuben, who he shares with his ex Lauren Shippey.
Hanni arrived shortly after, and looked gorgeous in an elegant white gown, with lace detail and a long trail.
Fellow Corrie star Lucy Fallon, who plays David's niece Bethany Platt, turned heads in a plunging yellow gown, teamed with gold strappy heels.
TIna O'Brien, who plays his sister Sarah, looked typically chic in a plunging blue and white gown, while his on-screen wife Julia Goulding opted for a turquoise number.
Other Corrie stars in attendance included Samia Longchambon, Colson Smith, Ben Price, Alan Halsall and Jayne Danson.
Jack, who won Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, previously revealed he took part in the show in order to pay for the wedding.

Guy Pearce set to play Rupert Murdoch in Danny Boyle-directed drama
Danny Boyle is set to direct an adaptation of award-winning play Ink, based on the rise of the Rupert Murdoch empire. According to Deadline, Guy Pearce is in talks to take on the lead role with Jack O'Connell also in negotiations to star as Larry Lamb, who Murdoch hired to run the Sun in the late 1960s. The film will be written by original playwright James Graham, whose other screen credits include recent TV drama Brian and Maggie. Ink was a critical hit after it premiered on stage in 2017 going on to win an Olivier award and two Tonys. The Guardian's Michael Billington called it a 'gripping piece of theatre'. Murdoch previously referred to Boyle as 'a creative genius' on social media after the London Olympics opening ceremony. He also claimed it was 'a little too politically correct'. Boyle recently returned to the zombie franchise he helped to create with 28 Years Later, a box office success earlier this summer making $150m worldwide. The film featured O'Connell in the final scenes and he will be a more prominent feature in the sequel out next year. Boyle is attached to make the as-yet-confirmed third film dependent on the success of the second which will also see the return of Cillian Murphy. O'Connell also recently starred in Ryan Coogler's smash hit horror Sinners and will also soon be seen in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. Pearce received his first Oscar nomination this year for Brady Corbet's The Brutalist and will soon be seen alongside Keira Knightley in mystery thriller The Woman in Cabin 10 and Ridley Scott's The Dog Stars.

The Fury, which sees him rehash details of their recent split, as well as make a series of shock revelations about it. 6 6 6 Tommy looked in good spirits as he posed on the red carpet with his family and a number of reality stars - including Love Island's Kaz Crossley. It comes after he made the shock revelation that he was downing "20 shots a night" and drinking to get "blackout drunk" ahead of their split last year. The news of their split in August 2024, just more than a year after their engagement, sparked shock and speculation he had been unfaithful. Tommy, the half-brother of boxer Tyson, denies the rumours in his new doc, saying he started drinking heavily after injuring his hand. He said: "The reason for our ending the relationship was alcohol." He added: "I couldn't train, box, lift weights, that was all gone. "My right hand was messed up, I was in dire pain, it's just what happens over years of impact on the hand. "I had lost my entire identity, lost my life." In the first episode of the show, Tommy''s father John says he urged Molly to leave his son, saying: "I knew from dealing with Tyson, when the drinking started to come into play I thought 'Not again'. The couple have since rekindled their relationship, with Molly saying she believes their relationship is "worth saving".
