Chris, 32, and JoJo officially confirmed their relationship this weekend after sending fans wild with weeks of loved up speculation. Congratulating his friend amid his new blossoming romance after hearing the message from JoJo, Sam remarked on Chris' happiness. 'He looks incredible happy, and I have told him to just chase the happiness that's the most important thing in this world. 'And I am really happy for you mate you look over the moon and it makes me happy. So anything that makes you happy keep cracking on.' Chris joked: 'I said to Sam on the way round "keep it pushing", and that's her terminology rubbed off on me.' Sam has been given the task to travel a mammoth 260-mile journey on both bike and foot to deliver the match ball to its new home in Old Trafford, with the hope of raising much-needed funds for Unicef. Sam, who is suffering from a calf injury, was soaked head-to-toe by the heavy rain during Tuesday's challenge. The star decided to cycle the remaining miles after revealing he 'popped his calf' and was strapped into a medical table just the day before. As Sam looked visibly downcast, Chris gushed: 'He's emotional, he's upset and it's tough because he's got to go again and it's relentless. 'I was saying when we were going around I've so much admiration for you Sam because I'm struggling with this... knowing that I'm going to stop in a minute and Sam has to carry on this amazing journey, raising so much money, it's warrior like... 'Please donate because Sam is going through the wringer here, I've seen the tears, I've seen the grit and the determination - keep supporting the boy!' Earlier in the day, Chris smirked when he was grilled about his relationship with live on This Morning. Jack Draper makes honest Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner admission as he opens up on disappointing fourth round exit at French Open
As the dust settled on his French Open campaign arrived, Jack Draper took stock and reflected on his standing in the tennis ecosystem. In December, relatively fresh off a breakthrough run to the US Open semi-finals, the British No1 told us his ambition for 2025 was to narrow the gap to Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, the two greatest players in the world. At the halfway point of the season, how would Draper assess his progress? 'I still think I'm a long way behind those boys,' said the 23-year-old, who lost in the fourth round to an inspired Alexander Bublik. 'I still have lots to learn. 'My level is getting better all the time but it's not just the tennis. It's the consistency of what they're doing. It's doing it when it matters and these are the tournaments that it matters. 'I have a lot to go still to get to them. I'm working hard, I'm doing the right things, and we'll see.' Draper is clear on what it will take for him to close the gap: time. 'They've probably played double the amount of matches,' he said. 'They're a year, two years ahead of me. Achieved a lot more, a lot more experience. I have a lot to do to catch up with them, in all honesty.' Bublik was in inspired form as he caused a major upset against the Brit, who is world No 5 In terms of tour-level matches, Draper has played 162 compared to 304 and 360 for Alcaraz and Sinner respectively - that is a big gulf in experience. Draper's rise has been so steep over the last 10 months that the Bublik defeat almost feels like the first real setback, the first time the hype-train has hit a stop sign. It would be a silver lining to his fourth-round exit if, with Wimbledon shimmering on the horizon, British expectations are dampened. Draper's biggest challenge on the grass will be dealing with the pressure of being a top five seed at his home Slam. 'It will be an experience for me, for sure,' said Draper. 'I don't know what to expect. I feel confident. I feel happy. I've had a lot of experiences this year playing Australians in Australia and Frenchies in France - there's not been many places where I have the crowd with me, so that will be nice. I feel like I'm still playing amazing tennis. Let's see what I can do.' Meanwhile in Paris, the first women's semi-final was set and it is a blockbuster: Iga Swiatek will face Aryna Sabalenka at a Grand Slam for the first time since the 2022 US Open. Both won in straight sets, Swiatek beating Elina Svitolina 6-1, 7-5 and Aryna Sabalenka taking out Olympic gold medallist Qinwen Zheng 7-6, 6-3. Swiatek leads the head to head 8-4 but Sabalenka is the world No1 and in far better form. 'I love these challenges,' said Sabalenka. 'I'm ready to leave everything I have to get the win.'

To see of your children become a professional sportsperson would be a dream for many - but what about two?Meet the Bevan brothers Taylor - an unbeaten pro boxer, signed with fight promoter Eddie Hearn - and Owen, a footballer at Premier League side AFC are on the verge of the big-time - 24-year-old Taylor labelled a "future world champion" and Owen, 21, under contract with the top-flight Cherries until they both credit their success to father Lester, a former boxer himself, who is now a coach at Poseidon Amateur Boxing Club in Hedge End, Southampton."I think our motivation comes from our dad - he's encouraged us to follow our dreams and we have both done that," Owen told BBC Sport."He pushed us when we were younger and made us work hard. Looking back I'm grateful for it now because it has helped shape our mentality."The siblings grew up in Hampshire but have both represented Wales owing to their mother's Welsh has played for Wales' youth sides and made five appearances for the meanwhile, represented Wales at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, winning a silver medal - but jokes it's his attitude not his ability that he gets from his dad."He didn't box at the highest level," Taylor smiled."I've seen a few videos of his fights and I can't learn much from them, but he's been in the ring and knows the feelings that come with it. He taught me the foundations though and emphasised fitness."Previously I've beaten people who have boxed at a higher level than me because of my fitness and my ability to push myself when in there." Of course, being a professional comes with its sacrifices, given the time and work both have to put in."We don't see each other a lot but we stay in touch," Owen added."Since we have been young we have always been quite competitive, we're both doing our own thing and have pushed each other to do well in each of our sports."Owen came through the Bournemouth academy and made his first-team debut in August 2022 for the final moments of the Cherries' 9-0 loss to Liverpool. He also played in the EFL Cup that same season, while first-team minutes have been picked up on loan spells at Yeovil and Owen's progress has been hampered by a number of injuries and surgery that put him out of action for more than a last year he had to call his loan spell at Hibernian short, external due to a setback and then injured his thigh in a pre-season game against Wrexham. Having only recently recovered, the central defender is hoping to return to the Cherries for pre-season and stay injury-free for the new campaign."It's been a tough year for me," he said. "I had surgery and then came back and had lots of setbacks after that too, it's not been easy but you learn a lot about yourself."I'm grateful to be out the other side of it now; I just got my head down and got through it, with some help from my dad."That debut [against Liverpool] was such a proud moment for me and something that I worked so hard to get to. I try to not look so much at the result as for me it was irrelevant."Owen hopes to be part of Bournemouth's pre-season tour to the United States this summer and, having signed a four-year deal 12 months ago, is aiming to stake a claim for a place in their long-term plans. The Cherries will play in the Premier League Summer Series, with games against Manchester United, Everton and West Ham scheduled across July and August. "I can only beat who is put in front of me but I want to take my time and I don't want to rush things. I anticipate having quite a long pro career and I want to be built in the right way."Eventually I want to get to world title level but it is all one step at a time."
