Patrick Beverley comments on LeBron James Clippers Instagram post

Last week, LeBron James posted a photo of himself working out in a room that had the Los Angeles Clippers' logo in the background. It set off some speculation that James was once again sending a passive-aggressive message of some sort to the Los Angeles Lakers. After all, Rich Paul, James' agent, said in a statement in late June that James wants to win another NBA championship and that the two would "evaluate what's best" for the superstar moving forward. That comment resulted in lots of trade rumors surrounding the superstar, and although such talk has quieted down lately, it hasn't completely disappeared. Former Lakers and Clippers guard Patrick Beverley said on a recent episode of his "Pat Bev" podcast that the talk about James' Clippers-related Instagram post is much ado about nothing and explained why. 'It's a mutual site that other NBA guys can work out there and it won't be frowned upon,' Beverley noted. The guard also reminded people that James had another social media post a little earlier this summer from a facility in Cleveland, only to note that he heads back to his native Northeast Ohio every offseason. 'He posted a picture in Cleveland, and they gave him [expletive] about it. He had to put a rebuttal behind that, 'Like guys, I work out here every [expletive] summer. Please don't make it a big deal.'' People are gradually coming around to the very likely reality that James will start the new season as a member of the Lakers and likely spend the entire season with the team. What he does afterward when he becomes a free agent next summer is anyone's best guess, but for now, he will, in all likelihood, remain put.

Inside LeBron James' Yacht Meeting With Nikola Jokic's Agent: Not What You Think

Inside LeBron James' Yacht Meeting With Nikola Jokic's Agent: Not What You Think originally appeared on Fadeaway World. LeBron James and Maverick Carter have always had bigger ambitions than basketball, and their latest high-profile meeting in France has only added fuel to the fire. In a photo that recently went viral on Instagram, LeBron James and Carter were spotted lounging on a yacht alongside Misko Raznatovic, the longtime European agent of NBA superstar Nikola Jokic. While the image initially sparked trade speculation between the Lakers and Nuggets, new reports have shed light on a much bigger story, one that has nothing to do with their current teams. According to Front Office Sports, the boat meeting wasn't about Jokic, the Nuggets, or any potential NBA movement. Instead, it centered around Carter's ambitious effort to launch a global basketball league—an elite, privately funded international tour that aims to feature six men's and six women's teams competing across eight global cities. Backed by investors and reportedly seeking $5 billion in funding, the venture could reshape the international basketball landscape and create an alternative platform for elite-level hoops outside of the NBA and EuroLeague. The viral Instagram post includes a fiery caption to invoke intrigue: "The summer of 2025 is the perfect time to make big plans for the fall of 2026.' It was also located in France, another key hint about the occasion. Seemingly for a while now, James has been at work behind the scenes building a new legacy beyond the NBA. Rather than take the traditional route of becoming a team owner or media figure, LeBron appears to be crafting something even bigger: a league of his own, built on his vision for global basketball and backed by some of the most powerful names in the sport. As LeBron has vocalized before, the NBA is in a controversial state right now, and not everyone agrees with where things are headed. For James, the league is almost unrecognizable today, and he believes that the negative media discourse has contributed to its overall decline. Under normal circumstances, James would only have so much power to dictate and control the basketball landscape. But in his own, potentially global basketball league, James would be free to set the rules and create a new precedent for what former athletes can do after walking away from the game. He could establish a brand new legacy for himself that stretches beyond what he ever could be as a player. It would no doubt take a lot of time and investment, but LeBron is someone who has enough resources to make it happen, especially if he's got Maverick Carter and Misko Raznatovic by his side. If successful, this new league could represent the next frontier for post-NBA player empowerment—an entirely new model for global competition, brand-building, and athlete-led entrepreneurship. And while it's still in its early stages, the vision is clear: LeBron James isn't just shaping basketball history, he's rewriting its future story was originally reported by Fadeaway World on Jul 30, 2025, where it first appeared.

LeBron James' Pilates Workout With Savannah Sparks Hilarious Reactions From Fans

LeBron James' Pilates Workout With Savannah Sparks Hilarious Reactions From Fans originally appeared on Fadeaway World. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has had quite an eventful offseason, but that hasn't stopped the forward from getting his work in. In a recent video, James was joined by his wife, Savannah, for a Pilates workout. Professional athletes engage in multiple forms of exercise to maintain and improve their performance. From weight lifting and drills to more esoteric practices, high-performance athletes are known to find alternatives to supplement traditional training methods. In this regard, Pilates workouts are extremely effective, especially for developing core strength and flexibility, necessary elements in an intense sport like basketball. Even at 40 years old, James continues to display a commitment to his body, partaking in different forms of exercise to stay ready for the regular season. Unfortunately, his attempt at maintaining his fitness hasn't received the same kind of admiration from fans. With several fans reacting to the video on social media, here are some of the most notable responses shared on X. "I know a guy trying to save his marriage when I see one," speculated one fan. "Brother is literally doing everything he can to keep half of his assets, knowing damn good and well, she won't divorce until his final season NBA and he's purchased the NBA team," added another. "Getting a head start on his retirement activities," shared one fan. A fan addressed the benefits of the workout and said, "This kinda work hella contributes to Bron's longevity. Pilates is a great workout." Another acknowledged the difficulty of the workout and claimed, "I know my body woulda been snap crackle and poppin in that mf." "Lmfao bro golfing, doin Pilates with wifey… yeah retirement is righttttttttt around the corner," added one fan. "Kobe would never do this," stated one user bluntly. "Man, my GOAT never gets tired. How tf does he do it?" said one fan. "NO OFFSEASON FOR THE KING," responded another. "Next season flops are going to be so graceful," joked another. The general tone appears to be skeptical, but the upcoming season could be promising for James and the Lakers. Despite the early offseason drama involving trade and buyout rumors, it has become more apparent that James will remain with the team this season. To support this, Lakers star Luka Doncic has also expressed his wish to have the 40-year-old be a part of the franchise and eventually retire as a Laker. With the forward locked in with the team, the Purple and Gold boast a solid roster with a lot of potential to be competitive. Having made some key additions in the offseason, the Lakers have added necessary depth in multiple positions. On the verge of entering his 23rd campaign, James remains one of the most productive players in the league. Last season, he recorded an average of 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game. It is unlikely that he will sustain the same degree of production in the upcoming season. However, history has shown that doubting James' capabilities is a risky proposition. With an eye on the championship, James and the Lakers will hope to mount a title story was originally reported by Fadeaway World on Aug 7, 2025, where it first appeared.
