Clark has been out for the past week due to a quad injury, but that still doesn't stop the Iowa alum from watching and cheering on her teammates from the sidelines.
Before the Fever played against the Mystics, Clark was seen standing around on the sidelines bouncing a stress ball. After bouncing it too hard, the ball flew above her head and into the crowd. The official X account of the Fever posted the clip on Wednesday morning with the caption "pregame shenanigans with Caitlin Clark 😅."
Many fans flooded the comment section, amused by Clark's antics and quick to share their laughter.
"She is not a serious person😂," said a user who quote-tweeted the original post.

Another user quote-tweeted, "Only cc💀."
"this is a five year old," said a fan who also reposted the video to her X account.
"who let this kid inside??😭😭😭😭," one user joked.
Another fan joked, "Girl got given a stress ball, and immediately sent it to mars 🤣."
Even a fan account dedicated to the Mystics' Sonia Citron joined the conversation, writing "CC has more content generated while on the sideline vs on the court 😭."

This isn't the first time Clark has been seen acting unserious on the sidelines. During a Fever-Mystics game that took place on May 28, Clark was seen carrying around Zayn, the young son of Fever assistant coaches Austin Kelly and Karima Christmas-Kelly. At the same game, sports photographer Bri Lewerke gave the 23-year-old athlete her camera to borrow to take photos of her team practicing.
Clark has been sidelined since the Fever's May 24 game against the New York Liberty. The team announced on May 26 that she would be out for a minimum of two weeks. Clark has missed three games so far and is expected to remain out until at least next Tuesday.

Angel Reese Posts Telling Message in New TikTok Video

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has been a major topic of conversation in the sports world the last few days. The rivalry between Reese and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was discussed ad nauseum during the 2024 WNBA season, with every possible on and off-court angle being addressed. Clark and Reese were once again in the spotlight during the Fever's season-opening win over Chicago last Saturday, particularly after Clark was called for a flagrant foul on the Sky second-year All-Star. Advertisement Reese reacted angrily in the moment, but said postgame that it was a "basketball play" and nothing more. Clark agreed, saying she was trying to stop Reese from getting an easy layup and did not intend to be dirty. That hasn't stopped the dialogue surrounding the altercation from continuing over the last few days, even resulting in an ongoing feud between two former NFL players turned broadcasters. As for anyone who has an issue with Reese, she doesn't appear to be sweating them, based on her latest TikTok video. In the six-second clip, Reese shows off her hair and makeup for the camera while a voiceover plays in the background. "This morning I woke up beautiful again, and craving attention, so I decided to make some bitches mad from scratch," the audio says. Advertisement View the original article to see embedded media. Other celebrities, including Hailey Bieber, have used this audio before. Reese clearly seems to be sending a message to her detractors. In the wake of Saturday's game, the WNBA announced an investigation into alleged "hateful fan comments" made by Fever supporters toward Reese. Clark and her Indiana teammates have publicly supported the probe, which is ongoing. "There's no place for that in our game, there's no place for that in society," Clark said, via ESPN. "Certainly, we want every person who comes into our arena -- whether player or fan -- to have a great experience. I appreciate the league doing that [investigation]. I appreciate that the Fever organization has been at the forefront of that." Advertisement From a ratings perspective, Fever-Sky was a hit, averaging 2.7 million viewers on ABC, which makes it the most-watched WNBA regular season game in 25 years. The two teams will meet again in Chicago on June 7.

Major Update Emerges on Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo Possibly Teaming Up

Major Update Emerges on Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo Possibly Teaming Up originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There likely isn't a rivalry across sports that was as iconic as Lionel Messi during his time with FC Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo during his tenure with Real Madrid. Advertisement Two of the best players in the world routinely competing against one another for clubs who happen to hated rivals. Between the two of them they have 13 Ballon d'Or awards, nine Champions League trophies, thousands of goals and a debate regarding who is better that may never be settled. While it's been multiple years since they have faced off against one another, the possibility surfaced as CBS Sports reported that there has been a push for Ronaldo to play in the Club World Cup. The 32-club tournament is set to take place in the United States from June 14-July 13, and is the first rendition of the FIFA tournament. With Ronaldo's contract at Al-Nassr expiring at the end of June and him cryptically writing, "This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all." on X, many have begun to wonder where he will end up. With CBS reporting that multiple Brazilian clubs could be an option, the MLS' Inter Miami is also partcipating. The thought of Ronaldo and Messi going from rivals to teammates as their careers wind down would be one of the biggest plot-twists in sports history. However, according to Mike Ryan of the "Le Batard Show," it's not likely. Leo Messi of Paris Saint-Germain and Cristiano Ronaldo of Riyadh XI fight for Meunier - PSG/PSG via Getty Images "The head of FIFA is kind of pressuring teams that are in this Club World Cup to sign Ronaldo," Ryan said. "They have this media rights package that's on DAZN here in this country, like 24 of the games on TNT. He wants this to be big this is the first Club World Cup and he wants the co-face of a generation Cristiano Ronaldo in it. Advertisement "So if he's pressuring all these clubs, one would wonder hey, Inter Miami is one of these clubs in the Club World Cup, might they have interest in potentially loaning Cristiano Ronaldo for just this tournament," Ryan said. "And perhaps form a super team of Messi and Cristiano." After teasing how monumental this would be, Ryan bluntly said "Inter Miami, no interest." While it would have been quite the spectacle, it's hard to imagine they'd put their rivalry aside. However, we may see them play against one another if Ronaldo does end up on one of the other 31 teams.
