Roshan Salih, editor of the British Islamist media platform 5Pillars, and British Islamist journalist Robert Carter, who also works for the platform, discussed the recent Iran–Israel war and the prescription of Palestine Action by the House of Commons as a terrorist organization on the June 25, 2025 episode of the 5Pillars podcast. Salih argued that Iran must strengthen its ballistic missile capabilities, enhance its air defenses, and pursue a nuclear bomb. He stated that most Sunni Muslims support Iran in its fight against Israel, despite Iran's reputation being 'tarnished' by its actions in Syria and Iraq, because they see a state confronting Israel. Carter said that all Muslims support this because Israel is 'the enemy of Islam, the enemy of all Muslims, and the enemy of the Middle East.' Responding to the UK's prescription of Palestine Action, Carter said, 'This country is conquered by Israel,' and addressed the British government directly: 'What a disgrace, you should be in jail yourselves.' He added that the UK government is supposed to represent British rights and British freedoms, and he said: 'I can't believe the state of this country, what a joke.' Carter concluded that if there is anything that makes him 'sick to be British,' it's the British establishment, stating: 'I don't want to be associated with these arseholes.'

He led a series of Kurdish uprisings in the 1920s, earning the title "King of Kurdistan" during a turbulent period in Iraq's history. One of his most notable battles took place at Bazian Pass (Darbendi Bazian), where he secured the strategic passage. The site later became known as the "Rock of Freedom" and was eventually converted into a public park called Berde Qaraman in Kurdish.

Former CAIR Florida Director Hassan Shibly: The Only Excuse Muslims Have for Living in the West Is to Change These Countries for the Better – Our Number One Priority Should Be Dawah; I'm Sure MEMRI Wi

Muslim civil rights attorney and former director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Florida chapter Hassan Shibly discussed the role of Muslims in America in an August 7, 2025 episode of Blood Brothers Podcast, hosted by British journalist Dilly Hussain and posted on 5 Pillars on YouTube. He said the only excuse Muslims have for living in Western countries such as the U.S., UK, or Australia is to change these countries for the better, and therefore the number one priority should be dawah, or Islamic proselytizing. Shibly added that he was sure MEMRI would produce a clip of these statements and 'blast' it. He said Muslims are not trying to take over America but to make it more representative of the ideals it espouses, adding that Muslims in America will be remembered for preserving the very soul of liberty and justice within the country.
