14 College Football 26 Texas A&M player ratings revealed ahead of July 10 release

USA Today21-06-2025
EA Sports' College Football 26 is set to release on July 10, but a trend that has emerged in the age of social media is that leaks often occur before official releases. In the College Football Franchise, player ratings are crucial in determining a team's virtual success.
Texas A&M's 2025 roster is filled with talent and experience, led by an offensive line that features all five returning starters from the 2024 campaign, led by left tackle Trey Zuhn, left guard Chase Bisontis, and right guard Ar'maj Reed-Adams, who is reportedly the highest rated player on the team in College Football 26, according to the latest ratings leak.
Thanks to Jaxson Callaway of AggiesToday, 14 of Texas A&M's highest-ranked players' ratings were revealed, and to no surprise, Reed-Adams, new wide receiver KC Concepcion, linebacker Taurean York, and running back Le'Veon Moss are the three highest-rated players on the team. For the Aggies to be successful in 2025, the run game needs the O-line to block at an elite level, while Concepcion and York will likely lead the team in several categories.
Here are the 14 highest-rated Texas A&M players in College Football 2026
Starting quarterback Marcel Reed's 85 rating is respectable given his potential and need to improve in the pocket. At the same time, former Iowa State defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim could end up being Texas A&M's best Run defender and interior pass rusher after three successful seasons in Ames.

Bengals' Ted Karras wants Shemar Stewart to 'be smarter' after rookie bumped Joe Burrow

Shemar Stewart is still finding his way with the Cincinnati Bengals after a prolonged holdout that wasn't resolved until late July. On Wednesday, teammates delivered a pointed message to the first-round rookie defensive end on the need to properly harness his intensity in a practice setting. Stewart ignited a scuffle during practice when he bumped into quarterback Joe Burrow during a play. Right guard Lucas Patrick confronted the defender, with teammates quickly arriving to separate the two. We've got a scrum at #Bengals practice. Not sure what the cause was here, but after the first play of a 30 minute period of 11 v 11 scrimmage, the offense and defense come together for a scrum. Will be an interesting remainder of the period. Center Ted Karras, a 10th-year who has been a captain for all three of his previous seasons with the Bengals, said the offensive line was ultimately responsible for Burrow's well-being, noting, "We gotta be better up front." But he also called for better judgment from the No. 17 overall pick out of Texas A&M. Asked if he appreciated the edge Stewart brought to the defensive line, Karras said Wednesday, "Hell yeah. Just be smarter. ... Come on, man. That's all our hopes and dreams right there." Safeguarding Burrow has been a lofty challenge for the Bengals' maligned offensive line throughout the quarterback's five-year career. Cincinnati's offensive front ranked last in ESPN's pass-block win rate metric in 2024, and the two-time Pro Bowl signal-caller tied for fourth with 48 sacks taken. Burrow missed the final seven games of the 2023 season after suffering a torn ligament in his right wrist. With receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins re-signed to massive extensions this offseason, the Bengals are once again counting on Burrow to shoulder a heavy load and lead the team back to the playoffs for the first time since 2022. FANTASY FOOTBALL: Is Ja'Marr Chase the No. 1-ranked wide receiver? Stewart, meanwhile, is expected to help revitalize the defensive front and made a strong early impression on teammates. "He's been making some plays out there for us," defensive tackle B.J. Hill said earlier in August. "He's a strong, physical, big-time athlete who can do a lot of things for us. Inside or outside. Glad to have him on our side. When he learns this defense, things are going to very explosive for our defense."

College football expert Josh Pate ranks Notre Dame lower than the US LBM Coaches Poll

Many believe that Notre Dame will be one of the best football teams in the country, backed up by being ranked No. 5 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Josh Pate sees it a bit differently, ranking the Irish a spot below at No. 6. It's clearly still a very high placement, and matches what we saw from the AP Poll. The team that he differs the most on between the two poll is Alabama, who he ranks as his No. 5 team. There is an argument to be made that Notre Dame is better than the Crimson Tide, as they struggled last year and are ranked lower in both major polls at No. 8. The top four are the same, although Pate switched the order around, with Texas No. 1 followed by Ohio State, Georgia and Penn State. He's also very high on USC, as they just received votes in the polls. With Miami and Texas A&M also in his top-20, Pate has the Irish facing three ranked teams this fall. Regardless of how you look at it, Notre Dame will have a tough schedule this year, and shouldn't be questioned about that when the College Football Playoff committee makes its decisions. Is Tom Izzo a top 10 coach? See where he landed in a recent national list

See where Tom Izzo landed in a newly released head coaches rankings list heading into next season Despite having one of his best seasons in the last five years, Tom Izzo is not considered a top 10 coach nationally by one popular college basketball social media account. College Basketball Report -- a popular social media account known for putting together rankings and other lists -- has released their list of top 50 coaches heading into the 2025-26 season. Izzo was obviously pretty high on the list, but not as high as some may have had the hall of famer. College Basketball Report has Izzo as the No. 12 coach nationally entering the season. Here's a list of the coaches ahead of him in the rankings: The list itself isn't bad -- in my opinion -- when you start to look at who all is ahead of Izzo in the rankings. The one thing I would nitpick on is having Scott Drew ahead of Izzo. Sure, Drew won a national championship in 2021, but other than that season, he hasn't led the Bears to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament since 2017. So if we are playing a comparison game, I find it hard to have Drew ahead of Izzo based on both recent success and overall success.
