Kylie Jenner takes huge step in Timothée Chalamet relationship

Perth Now13 hours ago
Kylie Jenner has taken a huge step in her relationship with Timothée Chalamet - by following him on Instagram.
The 27-year-old businesswoman boasts 393 million followers on the photo-sharing site, but she is quite choosy about who she follows - with only 119 profiles making the cut.
However, one of those is now her boyfriend of two years.
Fans of TyMothée - the pair's most popular ship name - have been driven into a frenzy after spotting Kylie has allowed the A Complete Unknown actor into her close social circle.
However, at the time of writing, the follow is yet to be reciprocated.
The 29-year-old actor has 19.7 million Instagram followers, and has only shared 147 posts, compared with Kylie's whopping 7,244 posts.
But the Kardashians star shouldn't feel hard-done-by by her boyfriend's social snub - because he doesn't follow anybody on Instagram.
That's including his ex-girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez, who recently admitted she is "obsessed" by his new romance with reality star Kylie.
During an appearance in Cosmopolitan magazine's online video series Cheap Shots, Eiza explained: "They look so cute together. They look so in love and so cute, I'm obsessed with them, and I love Timmy."
She added of the Dune star: "I think he's the most talented, sweetest - honestly, sweetest boy - and I'm just so proud to see him thriving and doing great in his career, and we're just good friends.
"I have nothing but amazing things to say about him."
Chalamet has been romancing Kylie - who is mom to Stormi, seven, and three-year-old Aire with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott - since April 2023, and their relationship has won the seal of approval from Timothee's mother Nicole Flender.
The real estate agent told Curbed: 'I have to say she's lovely. She's very nice to me.'

50 Cent leads wave of celebrity reaction to acquittal of Sean ‘Diddy' Combs on sex trafficking and racketeering charges

50 Cent has led a wave of celebrity reaction to the acquittal of Sean 'Diddy' Combs on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, describing him as 'the Gay John Gotti' in a social media post that has sparked widespread backlash. Curtis Jackson, 48, posted a mocked-up AI image of himself to Instagram after Wednesday's (02.07.25) verdict, writing: 'Diddy beat the Feds that boy a bad man! Beat the Rico, he the Gay John Gotti.' The comment drew instant criticism, with followers accusing the rapper of homophobia and celebrating a legal outcome involving serious allegations of abuse. Combs, 55, was cleared by a New York jury of the two most serious charges he faced – racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking – but was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, relating to his former partner Cassandra Ventura and another woman, referred to in court only as Jane. As the verdict was read, Combs fell to his knees in court. His trial, which lasted two months, had included graphic testimony from Cassie and male escorts, and allegations that Combs orchestrated so-called 'Freak-Offs' — sex acts involving escorts and drugs — across state lines. Celebrity reaction to the verdict poured in immediately. Singer Aubrey O'Day, 40, who previously worked with Combs in the girl group Danity Kane, said on Instagram Stories: 'Oh my God. Not guilty on Cassie. Not guilty on Rico. No way is Jane going to be guilty. This makes me physically ill.' She captioned her post: 'Wow.' Kesha, 37, voiced support for Ventura on X, writing: 'Cassie, I believe you. I love you. Your strength is a beacon for every survivor.' Piers Morgan, 59, also reacted to the decision on social media. 'Wow…,' he wrote, after earlier predicting: 'Diddy's going down. Just a question now of how many convictions he gets, and how long a sentence… .' Following the verdict, a statement was issued by Cassie's legal team. Her lawyer said: 'This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023. 'Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution. 'By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. 'We must repeat — with no reservation — that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial.' Combs, who has not been seen in public since his arrest in September 2024, remains in custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center. Prosecutors said they intend to seek the maximum 20-year sentence. His legal team has requested release on $1m bail ahead of sentencing, which has not yet been scheduled.

'So cute': Lady Louise Windsor's rumoured Australian boyfriend Felix da Silva-Clamp 'wins over' Duchess Sophie at prestigious Sandringham event

Lady Louise Windsor's rumoured boyfriend, Felix da Silva-Clamp, is seemingly off to a strong start with her family, most notably her mother, Duchess Sophie, after joining the pair at a high-profile event over the weekend. The 21-year-old royal and her Australian companion, 20, were seen attending the Sandringham Festival of Carriage Driving on June 29, where Lady Louise competed in the prestigious Horse Driving Trials. The annual event, held on the grounds of the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, was established by her late grandfather, Prince Philip, and has long been one of Louise's great passions. In photos from the day, Louise, who is 16th in line to the throne, can be seen sharing laughs with Felix, dressed in her smart riding attire while he opted for a relaxed but neat look in chinos, boots, a button-down shirt, and a cap. Felix was also photographed chatting comfortably with Sophie, 60, who wore a flowing red dress and sneakers as she cheered on her daughter from the sidelines. The duo stood alongside Penny Knatchbull, Countess Mountbatten, a close friend of the late Duke of Edinburgh and a fellow carriage driving enthusiast. After pictures from the event surfaced, royal fans quickly flooded social media with comments about the rumoured romance. "They look so cute," one user wrote on Instagram, while another said: "It looks like Felix has won over Sophie too!" It is not the first time Felix and Louise have made a joint appearance at the royal event. Last year, the pair were seen looking "very comfortable together" with Hello! reporting that Louise even took him for a spin in her carriage. "They were chatting and looking at each other all the way around," an onlooker said at the time. "They went for a couple of walks together in between her two events as well, they are clearly very close." Felix also appeared to get the seal of approval from the Duchess back then, joining her and Prince Edward, 61, to watch Louise compete. "Felix and the Duchess looked very at ease with each other," the onlooker added. "They turned up in the car just 10 minutes before Louise's first event and watched her eagerly." In May, a new picture of Louise and Felix was taken with a large group of friends at the University of St Andrews, where they are both studying. It is believed the couple met at the Scottish institution around two years ago after being cast in the same student theatre production. Felix was born in 2004 and raised in Melbourne before moving to the United Kingdom for university. Alongside his studies, he works as a "gelato artist" at Jannetta's Gelateria in St Andrews, where one of his colleagues described him to Hello! as "a lovely person". A palace insider revealed to the Daily Express last year that Louise, who is currently undertaking a four-year English degree, has been contemplating a study-abroad year at Macquarie University in Sydney. This would allow her to spend more time with Felix's relatives in Australia. "The next academic year is going to be an important one for Louise," the source said. "She is exactly halfway through her degree course and this is the point where students decide whether they want to study abroad or remain in Scotland."

Australian Olympic great Leisel Jones goes public with personal news about depression struggles

Australian swimming champion Leisel Jones has revealed she is battling with 'high-functioning depression' and only days ago she 'wanted to end it all'. Jones is an Olympic gold medallist and seven-time world champion who burst onto the international scene as a gun 15-year-old breaststroker. Only a day ago the 39-year-old took to Instagram to reveal the depths of her struggles, posting a phot of herself with tears streaming down her face. 'Stay until tomorrow,' she said. 'It's one of my favourite sayings. Yesterday was one of my worst days and I wanted to end it all. 'I think I have been battling high-functioning depression for a little while now and have just gone back to work with a psych. 'In the dark moments I promise myself to just stay until tomorrow and it's amazing what the next day can bring. 'Today was spectacular. I had some free time after work and went on an hour long walk along the beach. No goals. No plans. Just enjoy the sunshine and the view. 'I was really missing my walking buddy (former swimmer) Meagen Nay but walking by myself was enough. 'It changed my whole perspective on things. 'So if life has felt like a kick in the c*** lately, promise me you'll stay until tomorrow 🤞🏽.' Jones' candid words have been praised by Lifeline Australia, which commented on her post to say that her revelation could help many others struggling with depression. 'Thank you for your vulnerability and courage in sharing this, Leisel. Your words will no doubt bring comfort to many who are quietly battling their own struggles. Lifeline is always here for you.' Jones's celebrity friends were also quick to show their support. Fellow swimmer Giaan Rooney wrote: 'This post will help so many others darling, but just as importantly, I hope it helps you see how truly loved you are, how the world is a better place for having you in it & how many are in your corner - so much love to you always.' Comedian Dave Hughes agreed a beach walk could do wonders. 'Australia loves you, but that doesn't matter. You loving life is all that matters. But not even that. Let's just be still,' Hughes said Peter Helliar also offered his perspective, writing that sometimes noticing the little things that could make you feel better. 'Even tiny things like the way opening curtains to let light in your room can feel, the way fresh air can rejuvenate, seeing a friend,' he said.. 'We spend time waiting for big life changing moments but there are so many tiny life affirming moments around us everyday. I'm trying hard to recognise how those moments make me feel. Thanks for sharing and I hope you continue to find your moments.' Jones was the first Australian swimmer to attend four Olympic games, launching her spectacular career at just 15 at the Sydney Olympics and then going to the 2004 Athens Olympics, where she was part of the gold-medal winning women's 4x100m relay. She also won gold for the 100m breaststroke and the 4x100 medley relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and had a glittering career that included many other swimming achievements. Since retiring from the pool she has become an author and media commentator.
