Manchester City is facing a battle to qualify for the Champions League as a result of its relative struggles this season, and next up for Pep Guardiola's men is a tricky-looking assignment against Brighton.
Fabian Hurzeler's men, who have only lost six games all season, have won their last four in the Premier League, and a victory away to City would take them up to fifth in the league standings. A fifth-place finish which will almost certainly be enough to qualify for the Champions League next season.
A defeat for City, meanwhile, would see the Etihad Stadium club drop out of the top five, and face a real battle to qualify for Europe's premier club competition next term.
The clubs currently placed between fourth and ninth in the league are separated by just five points, so a win for either side would provide a huge boost to the victor's top-five chances.

Unfortunately for UK viewers, the match is not being broadcast live in the UK. In the US, City vs Brighton will be available to watch on the USA Network and Universo.

The Jamaica-born official grew up in Sheffield, northern England, and oversaw hundreds of matches starting with his breakthrough appointment when Derby hosted Wimbledon in August 1997. That game was abandoned, however, because the stadium lighting failed. Rennie told BBC News in April how, while on holiday in Turkey last year, he felt severe pain in his back and doctors discovered he had an inoperable neurological condition that confined him to a wheelchair. ___ AP soccer:
