With the sunshine continuing, even with a cloudy or drizzly break in the heat, the hunt for stylish garden furniture that can offer a buyer a bargain too is hotting up as much as the temperature.
Some people like to opt for sociable garden sets that can sit up to four people to create an inviting social space to gather with friends or family, and nestle around a table or a firepit to chat and drink the day and night away.
And some garden sets come with thick padded seats that look comfortable but might not be the best option in the hotter weather - so, happy days then, because Dunelm's Santorini 4 Seater Conversation Set not only lets air circulate around you thanks to its rattan strands design, but if you go for the 'jade mist' option, there's 50% off too, down from £219 to £109.50. Made from rattan and powder-coated steel, the Santorini Conversation Set comes with a two-seater sofa, two chairs and, rather surprisingly, but very handily - two tables.
One buyer is delighted, saying: 'Loving my new garden furniture, quite surprisingly comfortable. I bought some lovely scattered cushions from Dunelm too, which just sets it off'.

Another comments: 'Great product, very reasonably priced. It looks great and is also very comfortable'. But one buyer was not impressed, adding: 'Set is great to look at. Sadly one of the chairs rattan pieces broke after about 20 mins'.
Another customer states: 'Lovely and comfortable, looks and feels good had an issue with several seating strands coming undone slowly but after a short online chat a replacement was sent out. Great service'.
The price and the easy assembly delighted most buyers though, with one saying: 'This set was excellent value and amazingly easy to put together' and another added: 'Would recommend! Great product, very reasonably priced. It looks great and is also very comfortable'.
Charles Bentley padded seat set from Next

There are a range of 'conversation sets' to choose from that bring style as well as comfort as an alternative to Dunelm's Santorini.
Significantly more expensive at £430, the Oatmeal Porto 4 Seater Lounge Set with Cushions by Charles Bentley and available via Next offers a two-seater sofa and two armchairs with 'deep filled cushions' plus a coffee table in oatmeal and black.
If you like the idea of a more natural toned looking set but with a modern black accent that the Charles Bentley set offers but want a smaller price tag, the Santorini from Dunelm also comes in natural.

This colourway is more expensive than the 'jade mist' option but it still has money off the £219 original price, now on sale for £153.30.
But if green is the garden colour that has stolen a potential buyer's heart and the Santorini in natural and black is not on the wish-list and the jade mist is not a must, then maybe Habitat has the answer.
The Scion 4 Seater Metal Garden Sofa Set in green is a funky looking set, bringing a more vintage vibe to any outdoor, balcony or conservatory space.

Now reduced from £450.00 to £301.50, one buyer gives the set a five-star feedback review, saying, 'This is such a lovely garden set. I love the vintage feel, and the glass-top table is so special. The cushions are also fantastic. It was easy to assemble and the colour is exactly as shown in the pictures. Very pleased with it!'.

My council flat is so stylish thanks to second-hand finds – plus the treasure chest place you need to look for bargains
A SAVVY woman has revealed how she transformed her council flat into a super stylish home. Charlene Bonnici, a bargain hunter from the UK, confirmed that she was on a mission to give her pad a makeover without breaking the bank. 6 6 Now, thanks to second-hand buys and bargains from Dunelm and Temu, Charlene's home is incredibly impressive and super unique. Posting on social media, the young woman gave her followers a close-up look inside her home, leaving many totally stunned. Alongside clips of her council property, which has been kitted out with funky prints and glam accessories, Charlene explained: 'Living in a council flat doesn't mean giving up on beauty or style. It means finding creative ways to make every corner feel like home. 'This is about making the most of what we have, proving that warmth, personality, and pride don't depend on where you live, but how you live.' Since then, Charlene has opened up to Fabulous about her council flat and how she has been able to make it look so luxe whilst sticking to a tight budget. The DIY enthusiast told us: 'Most of my wall prints are from Temu - which are a couple of pounds each - and Desenio. 'A few still don't have frames yet, but I like to get them up on the wall anyway so I can admire them until I can afford the frames. 'My sofa is actually a broken second-hand IKEA one I have had for years. I'm actually saving for a new one….it's on a slope on one side. 'I've covered it with a Comfortly sofa cover that I saved up for ages to get.' Not only this, but Charlene also revealed the treasure chest place you need to search if you want to get your hands on purse-friendly interior finds. Trolls say council houses can't look nice but my stunning hallway will prove them wrong 'My coffee table was a total Facebook Martketplace bargain, (originally from John Lewis) I grabbed it for £30! ' Facebook Marketplace is such a treasure chest,' she added. As well as looking online for bargains, Charlene also loves shopping in the sales too. I very rarely buy things brand new unless I really love them and have saved up for them, so it's all been a bit of a mix-and-match process Charlene Bonnici She continued: 'My rug was from Dunelm for just £25 in the sale, which I'm still so happy about. 'I buy most of my things second-hand, and if I've got my eye on something special (like my Smeg kettle), I'll save for months until I can get it. How to do your council house up on the cheap Take inspiration from pricier shops and head to B&M, Home Bargains for interior decorations. Head to YouTube for easy to follow tutorials on how to decorate rather than paying for professionals. For a quick glow-up for your floors or anywhere with tiles, opt for stick-on vinyl to save on costs. A lick of paint does wonders to make a room feel brand-new. Switch out kitchen cupboard knobs for modern ones instead of buying brand-new cupboards 'I also love picking up little decor bits from Amazon, TK Maxx, Dunelm and H&M when they have sales.' Thrilled with her home's glam look, the content creator shared: 'I've collected everything so slowly over time - I very rarely buy things brand new unless I really love them and have saved up for them, so it's all been a bit of a mix-and-match process.' 6 6 DIY fans beam Charlene's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ at_home_with_charl, has clearly impressed many, as users eagerly raced to the comments to praise her 'beautiful' home. Not only did people think it was 'cosy' and 'stylish,' but others were 'obsessed' with Charlene's glam decor. One person said: 'Lovely. Clean, tidy, organised and cosy.' Another added: 'Wow, this is actually stunning! What a beautiful home.' A third commented: 'I love your style.'

Next's £37 cardigan for great 'chilly summer days' shoppers love in all three colours
The Cotton Washed Crew Neck Cardigan at Next is made from 100% cotton and is 'ideal for layering' in the unpredictable British weather It may be August, but it appears the Great British weather failed to get the memo. The forecast looks greyer once again this weekend. For summer days that still feel a little chilly, a cardigan is a great wardrobe weapon for tackling unpredictable temperatures in the UK. While there are plenty to choose from on the high street, one we've spotted that looks particularly chic is the Cotton Washed Crew Neck Cardigan at Next. Coming in at £37, it's made from 100% cotton, making it a more premium option compared to polyester counterparts, and is said to 'go with lots' of different outfits. The knit is available in three colours, including stone for neutral lovers, as well as blue and red for those who crave colour in their wardrobe. Some shoppers love the cardi so much, they've bought it in all more than one shade, with others saying they'd "love to see it in more colours". Designed with a crew neck and stitched detailing to the drop shoulders, the cardigan is 'ideal for layering' or for throwing on over your summer outfit. The brand has described it as an 'all-seasons staple' that will see wearers through the autumn and winter months and even into spring. For a more premium option, this Ribbed Button Front Cardigan with Wool from Hush costs £100. It comes in oatmeal or green, and has a cotton and wool blend mix for a soft feel. Alternatively, Marks and Spencer is currently offering a Cotton Blend Textured Button Front Cropped Cardigan for £36 in four colours, including red and navy. It's a great short-sleeve option with statement gold buttons and lends itself nicely to being worn as a top in its own right - we can see it being paired with a satin skirt for a summer evening look. As for the Next cardigan, though, the rave reviews have been rolling in, with nothing less than a four-star review in sight. One said: 'Nice cotton cardigan, well made. I have this one in cream and blue as well as the red so obviously I recommend.' 'Really nice cotton cardigan,' said another. 'Nice neat fit and it's not too long. Would love to see it in more colours.' One mentioned that the sleeves were on the longer side, something to consider for shoppers with shorter arms. They wrote: 'Just what I was looking for, a neutral colour to go with lots for chilly summer days. Looks nice with jeans and will take me into autumn. Fit good, but have had to turn up sleeves at the cuff, which looks fine.' A fourth wrote: 'Good quality, bit heavier than usual cardigans so will get plenty of wear. Shorter style works well with jeans and smart trousers.' For those seeking the ultimate summer layering piece, shoppers can find the £37 Next cardigan here.
